  3. Hi-- so I actually made the traffic stop on you, so I understand where your coming from. The traffic stop was a TAD bit longer then I usually run mine, but that's also because I was writing you citations. As it starts, I was generally going to let you off with a warning, but your IC attitude towards my character is what changed the fact of you not getting a simple verbal warning (if anyone has been pulled over by me, you know, I only give warnings), and the fact of the reckless driving you committed (which, I could of easily arrested you for). Your insurance wasn't paid in over a month (last paid in July, in which I let you ride your own motorbike home, on a suspended license, which I could of impounded, but did not) you were doing 102 in a 90 MPH (and yes... a lot of people are on the highways, I have a huge folder full of traffic stops from the highway with video). And then while you were coming down to the City, through the freeway, I paced you doing 105 through the City, running every red light you came across, and then made the widest turn ever... and almost went head on. I apologize once again if I took to much of your time, but according to the videos I have, this whole situation from start to finish, lasted 25 minutes.. To shed light on the 'attitude' icly: My character doesn't appreciate people thinking they are going to get away with everything, your character seemed to be extremely "Well I was just speeding, let me off with a verbal okay?" type of person. To Vano? That's not the type of person that learns from the mistakes. While I understand your frustrations, the actions are your own. Now -- here is the video of every infraction that occurred: For reference: I was running my siren, just muted the audio due to having a private conversation from earlier: Edit: Decided to go through the interaction, and decided to highlight some of the key reasons why you got citations, and as-well, why the traffic stop was so delayed. As you can see in multiple photos, you went OOC, /PM'ing me, which took time away from writing the citations, and then at the end, decided to go OOC and delay the traffic stop just a bit more.. Also, considering I had to look over every 15 seconds, because you were either wondering away from the scene, or either, standing in the middle of the road trying to get my attention.

  7. Seoul Boyz 213 청소년 (SBZ) are a predominantley East-Asian set operating in Little Seoul, Palomino Ave. The group initially began as a congregation of teenage residents from Little Seoul, banding together to protect themselves from the opposing Hispanic and African-American street gangs in the surrounding areas. But they eventually grew into a loosely organized gang that contributed to a large amount of the rising crime rate in the Little Seoul area, calling themselves the "Seoul Boyz" in reference to the area of Little Seoul in which they reside. They can be identified by the area code "213" , which is littered throughout Little Seoul in the form of graffiti. ((OOC Section)) We intend to portray a fictional street gang, drawing heavy inspiration from the long beach Asian Boyz. The development and progress of SBZ will be shown in screenshots through this thread, and as such the contents of this thread are subject to change and will be updated as the group develops ICly. If you have any queries, concerns or suggestions, feel free to contact the thread holder. ((Disclaimer for admins: This is a screenshot gallery for teenagers in Little Seoul under the faction K-Town.))

  8. I think you guys are missing the OP's idea. He's advocating for players to make the conscious realization that they don't RP in a quasi Los Santos with a population of how many players are online, and put that into one's driving (i.e. senseless speeding and borderline non-RP driving). This isn't aimed at PD, SD or anything. It's aimed at this plague of players who go around like it really is a Fast Furious sequel. You can take it IC all you want but it's not in game law enforcement's job to police the server and go after players who legitimately take it out of any proportion of realism and hold no regard to what's around them. If cop role-players start going after these guys instead of making the conscious realization that it's about role-play, not entertaining provocateurs and bad role-play, it only lowers the bar and enables them. I don't know what other factions do but the Sheriff's Department employs tactics such as terminating pursuits under the guise of public safety concerns (it's too dangerous to pursue whoever you're pursuing any longer), and retort to other apprehension methods. Most players who get in this spot are often reported and dealt with. On an administrative basis, you can't enforce a standard like this systematically. It has to be on a case by case basis. This means report what you see. Commonly, players like the ones described are usually in groups. RP Quality/old Player Management used to be all over this in the past and I'm certain they still are, but it takes the broader community to show the administration where to look.

  9. Word On The Street Vol. One Jad McFearson Introducing the first of many volumes of Word on the Street, where I will be interviewing artists to give you all the juicy insights you could ever desire. For this first volume, I would like to introduce you all to someone who you're probably well aware of, the legend himself, DJ LeCamp. LeCamp is regarded as the best DJ in Los Santos; he's DJed at about every single club and is the headliner for most events. LeCamp is known to have a club jumping every time he steps behind the turntables. Most recently he went on a small club tour in Europe, and every club he attended was packed and bouncing. Jad: Well, let's jump right into it; where are you from? DJ LeCamp: I'm from San Diego, born and raised. Jad: Ahh ok so always been from the West Coast? DJ LeCamp: Mhmm, I lived all my life in San Diego until a year ago when I decided to move to Los Santos. Jad: Do you think your background helped turn you into the success you are today? DJ LeCamp: I guess the biggest thing I took from San Diego is well the multicultural mindset. I'm pretty progressive, I'd say. Because it's so close to the border, you tend to meet a lot of different walks of life, and I guess that made me an open person. Jad: How did you start DJing? DJ LeCamp: I started young... During high school, I use to make mixtapes and such with old cassettes, recording songs from the radio on them. Then it progressed me getting my first controller in college where I DJ'd at frat parties and such until I moved on to the bars and small clubs. DJing was just something I did for that extra cash on the side. So I guess that is how I started. Jad McFearson and Dj LeCamp sitting down to talk Jad: When did you realize you had a real passion for DJing? DJ LeCamp: I had a dude, visiting a bar I was DJing at who owned a club called Club Legal. He liked how I interacted with the audience even though it was just a dingy lounge bar. He offered me a spot to DJ for his night club, and the response was amazing, and I tasted blood, so to say. I wanted more after that. Jad: How do you balance between giving the crowd what they want and treating them with something new? DJ LeCamp: Well, most gigs are two hours, right? So I alternate between classics that everybody loves and songs that could become the next classic, you know? It's all about having a good mix of songs; I often get questions while DJing like " What's that song?" or " What remix is this?" I even got someone asking when I played one of my own produced songs, which was a real treat; I couldn't stop smiling honestly. Jad: Oh, so you produce too? DJ LeCamp: Mhmm, yea. I recently released my debut EP on all streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple music. It's called "Alone," stylized with quotation marks. Jad: Ahh, ok, that's dope. I thought I did my homework, clearly, I missed that, but I will most definitely listen. Being the biggest DJ in the city, I'm sure you can't go anywhere without being known, but how does it feel? DJ LeCamp: It feels alright. I think a lot of people know that I am pretty down to earth, approachable if you will. So like, screaming fangirls are kept to a minimum. But I appreciate any love coming my way as I feel you have to be thankful for what you get—especially something like this. Jad: Well, that will do it; I appreciate you taking time out of your busy for this interview. DJ LeCamp: No, thank you, I've always loved the work LSNN has done. This is Jad McFearson signing out on this first edition of Word on the Street with Dj LeCamp. Stay tuned for more exciting interviews with the biggest artists in Los Santos! lsnn.gta.world

  18. Los Santos' annual homeless count, released Friday, shows that 66,433 people now live on the streets, in shelters and in vehicles within the county. That's up 12.7% from 2019. Within LS city limits, the number of people experiencing homelessness is 41,290, a 14.2% increase over last year. This thread is here to showcase my character's roleplay, Jermaine Webb. Feel free to shoot me a PM to RP with me or post screenshots of your roleplay if it's around homeless/addiction/bum.
