  1. IFM Approved Properties - Information What is an IFM approved property? An IFM approved property will be a property that benefits your faction specifically. It is never going to be a general business or a house specific for one individual member of your faction. Examples of this will be listed below: A trap house for a gang. A chop shop (these are currently capped at 7 maximum at any one time.) Requires 3 months minimum as an approved faction. A specific business for your faction. A faction clubhouse for an MC. A scheme related property. Requires an active scheme where said building is key for it to properly function. Who can apply for an IFM related property? Where do I do it? Any faction that has been approved as an official faction (this means groups are ineligible for this procedure), can apply for a property. You just need to provide a reasoning, a location, and a backstory for your faction as to why this should happen. This should preferably be a mixture of OOC and IC, as we want reasoning for both of these in the application. You'll find a format below. The topic gets posted in https://forum.gta.world/en/forum/844-ifm-requests-reports/ where it'll be taken further on for a review and vote within the IFM team. Chop shops? Chop shops are granted for longer-standing factions that have proven to provide the server with the roleplay and standards IFM wishes to see from factions. We currently cap these at 7 actives at any one time. This allows for more interaction between factions in terms of this type of roleplay. The chop shops are under the strict rule as well, components will be set at 1 and they will NEVER be used to modify vehicles, they are there as chop shops and not mechanic garages. The 1 component allows them to function scriptwise. Anyone caught abusing this will be punished and the chop shop may be revoked from the faction. Format If your property gets accepted, you will likely have to file coordinates and all of this again on the UCP or we will set up a proper lease for your faction. We will however guide you through that process, to avoid having to apply twice and wait longer than the initial wait. The properties that get granted by IFM will be set up as leases, and can therefore not be sold on. Any transfer of a faction property to another member MUST go through IFM leadership to be given approval for. This is to avoid name changes and properties being kept through multiple characters this way as well. Should your faction close (regardless of reasoning) - you are required to inform IFM that you have an approved property that should be taken away again. IFM will not provide an unlimited amount of properties for a faction, it'll very likely be just one or two based on the reasoning. IFM holds full rights to shut down and take the property away if any abuse is found at all. We will work actively alongside PM in order to make sure the best outcome is met for requests we approve, and some adjustments may be made based on existing properties in the area.

  3. Short description: Lock all JDM cars behind a lease. Detailed description: Self explanatory. Lock them all up so people who want to legitimately roleplay with them can get them. Commands to add: N/A Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? Look. Enough is enough. I implore you all to consider, reach within yourselves and ask yourself the question - "When was the last time I saw someone with a Sugoi or a Kawaii who also was good at portraying their use of it." Maybe you're sitting eating a cookie, drinking your tea. Maybe you did ask yourself this question and you thought.. "Y'Know what..? Maybe he has a point.. I don't think I've ever seen someone with a car like this with good portrayal". Well. I think this needs to change. T'was the eve of May 12th, when all through the hills, there wasn't a sound, nor even a chill. The path was muddy, slippery and wet. And suddenly, there it was - a looming threat. The neon glow, the deep, dark grumble. "Oh no!" I cried as I started to fumble. I dropped my rifle, my ammo and gear. And I watched the Sugoi, standing in fear. "It's not possible!" I thought to myself with sheer shock, but sure as shit, there it was - not even stock. Its upgrades and tuning and neons and brakes - a threat to mankind. Please... dump it in a lake. Jokes aside - it needs to stop. Sure, we can report every powergamer or ricer or idiot who wants a rally car or a race car or who wants to do Japanese street racing roleplay, or we could stand up, pull up our britches and stop the problem at the source. If people want to legitimately roleplay a rally car? Please I am begging you - let them do it! We should encourage high quality roleplay where people can genuinely and to a high standard, portray these cars. People should be allowed to do that - but the ricers ruin it for everyone. So my proposal is simple - anyone who wants to roleplay a rally car or a race car or a character who is interested in racing, let them. But before that, they must explain to admins their backstory, their motivations and must justify their knowledge and portrayal of these cars to ensure that only quality roleplayers can have access. I am a believer that Kawaii's and Sugois' can be great again - let the great roleplayers do that. Enough with every Tom Dick and Harry racing around the mountains and ruining the fun for everyone. Encourage good roleplay - stop it at the source. Thank you for hearing me out. Additional information: None.

  4. POLISH AMERICAN COMMUNITY BACKGROUND With the fall of Soviet Union in 1990s and Poland's independence restoration in 1989 December 31st, European Poland started a new page in their history. Solidarity movement inspired European Polish people with patriotism, hope and unity. However, there was another part of Polish citizens that saw the fall of a Soviet Union as a threat to their economic well-being and social status. Also, there was others, that simply did not believe that Poland regaining independence will be a new page of continuous struggles further down the road. Total Polish Immigration to the US, 1997-2012 Around 1990s, United States of America saw an influx of many Europeans, including people of Polish descent. This was to be considered the last wave of immigrants to the United States that came from the Europe, whether by legal or illegal migration means. However, as much as the migrants wished, United States were not the land of the free and the land of dreams as many have imagined. Before 1990s American economy had experienced a great recession, however, those who have managed to reap the fruits of capitalism, enjoyed the 1990s-2000s economic boom that followed the recession before and in between. POLISH AMERICAN COMMUNITIES IN SAN ANDREAS By the year of 2000, start of a new Millennia, there was roughly half a million of Polish American residents in the state of San Andreas. Jobs that were created by 1990s-2000s economic boom were mainly industrial, forcing the Polish Americans to reside near industrial San Andreas' areas simply due to general convenience. Maintaining the strong national spirit, first generation Polish people passed down a big portion of traditions and lifestyle to their descendants. Pockets of American-Polish communities that have formed throughout the years that maintain a strong heritage and some key points of nationalism, often expressed throughout the local national Polish celebrations and strong sense of one community and solidarity (coming from Solidarity movement that was crucial for Poland's independence recognition in the mainland Europe). Protests in Poland, 2021 "The states with the largest numerical increases in the number of immigrants from 2010 to 2016 were Texas (up 587,889), Florida (up 578,468), San Andreas (up 527,234), New York (up 238,503), New Jersey (up 171,504), Massachusetts (up 140,318), Washington (up 134,132), Pennsylvania (up 131,845), Virginia (up 120,050), Maryland (up 118,175), Georgia (up 95,353), Nevada (up 78,341), Arizona (up 78,220), Michigan (up 74,532), Minnesota (up 73,953), and North Carolina (up 70,501)," according to Center For Immigration Studies. WEST COAST VS. EAST COAST POLISH-AMERICAN COMMUNITY COMPARISON Due to higher concentrations around the East Coast of United States of America, Polish American residents are saturated around Chicago and industrial belt of America, East Coast Polish Americans score higher in their average wealth compared to their West Coast counterparts. However, Polish-Americans, especially in San Andreas, often showed ambition or already committed actions that allowed them to pursue higher capitalism as 2010 study carried out by ULSA shows. However, in the same study it is evident that there is also a higher economic disparity seen between Polish American community residents as well. Industrial Belt of the US, 2013 (( OOC SECTION )) This group aims to portray a realistic and small Polish American community in Los Santos with strong ties to blue-collar and working class while maintaining an aspect to Polish traditions to instill some key points of nationalism and a sense of community that would be tightly knit due to the environment. This group aims to provide their members with quality role-play, encourages initiative and innovation when it comes to role-play, realistic and slow (unrushed) development, variety in between the characters and basing those characters on GTA World’s continuity combined with real and actual history of Polish-American communities all over the United States. With that being said, it is up to you to develop your own character and choose his way, either it would be a legal or illegal character, but due to low concentration of Polish descendants in real life California compared to the East Coast states, illegal characters should comprise a minority of the local residents. 5. We're planning to : - Free more houses to the market very soon - Add a reCAPTCHA on map.gta.world to prevent bots today - Open house requests on a regular basis for the entire map - Add property taxes (not 100% decided yet and exact amount still in discussions, I would like to base it based on the weekly activity to not punish active roleplayers and not force them to grind, but if you have multiple characters with multiple houses you need to be heavily taxed if you just hold them) : Like for example 5% of MP weekly, 1% if you're active more than 20 hours during the week on that character.

Commands to add: N/A Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? Help the Business Owner/Managers to keep the track on the script abusers who don't refer to business concept to /createitem. Additional information: I think the creator name has shown already on the log, but only PM Admins can see it. And I don't see any disadvantages of it's being exposed to Business Owner, or else.. discuss it.

  10. Short description: Prescription drugs, Doctor script job, injury script and more. Detailed description: Medical RP right now on the server is nearly non-existant. If you get wounded, you get transfred to the hospital and then it's up to you to decide wether you are going to RP your injuries, fully heal and walk outside like nothing happened, or die. That's problematic for 2 main reasons: a) It's unrealistic. b)It makes Medical-RP (injuries, prescription drugs, surgeries ect.) completely optional. In order to fix that we need to start by adding an actual injury script. The way the script works after the injury depents on the area of the injury. If the player is injured in an area like the legs or a non-fatal injury in the torso or back: 1) Imediatelly after being injured in a non-fatal area, the player will not suffer any debuffs. The adrenaline would have kept the character moving, so that he can get out of danger. 2) After 5-10 minutes the pain will start, blurry screen, strenght/pace debuffs, tripping over etc. (that changes based on your injury (how much damage have you taken and in which areas). 3) If there's bleeding the effects will intensify and after 10-18 minutes, if the injury isn't properly treated, the player will pass out. The system described above is just an example of what an injury script would look like, of course the whole thing needs balancing and general changes. It also changes based on the area injured and the injury itself. After the player is treated for his injuries, there should be a recovery phase. Depending on your injury that should last between 5-32 hours. After the player arrives at the hospital, instaid of rping his recovery alone through /me's, there should be actual RP there. Doctor job script: The main features: -Surgery (opperate on a player, remove bullets, stop bleeding on areas like the torso ect.) -Healing (Stop bleeding on the legs by applying a bandage, fix a broken bone ect.) -Prescriptions Prescriptions: -After the player is treated for his injury, he will go through a recovery phase. The player will suffer some debuffs (how much these debuffs effect your game depents on how severe the injury was). To minimize these debuffs the player will need to take medicine. It's important that this whole recovery phase isn't annoying to the player, so the way I think it should work is that the player takes an X ammount of prescribed medicine and 90% of the debuffs go away, while the whole recovery phase lasts half as much. Example: The player is shot on the leg by an SNS pistol. The recovery phase would last 8 hours and the player would be prescribed medicine to help with the injury. If the player doesn't take the medicine, he wouldn't be able to run for a long time (e.g. run for over 5 seconds). After the player takes the medicine, the recovery phase "timer" drops to 4 hours and the player will be able to run for longer (e.g. run for 45 seconds). Prescription drugs can be purchused in the hospital or in a drug store. Commands to add: - Items to add: Prescription medicine (Opioids, Stimulants etc.), Bandages, First aid kits, ++ (items that can be bought from a drug store to treat an injury). How would your suggestion improve the server? Adds more depth to Medical RP. That's benefitial in multiple ways: a) Makes Medical RP more interesting, so there will be more Doctors, Ambulance drivers ect. b) Makes the server way more realistic when it comes to injuries c) New business opportunities (Drug store, private clinics, private doctor's office etc.) Additional information: As I've already said, the mechanism described above is far from perfect. The main point that I'm trying to get across with this suggestion is that there should be more depth in Medical RP and a new injury system.

  13. Good morning Los Santos and welcome to my rant. The /blip element of /bad is without a shadow of a doubt a pay to win feature and its also hurting the business quality, especially in the public venues/entertainment sector. I understand and support the need of /blip because of the "playground" size and the fact that it makes it easier for people to connect and role play as opposed to just roam around mindless, unless they have a crew. I also understand that the server does not run on rants and donations are necessary, thus the donation packages need to be attractive. That being said, /blip is overboard and such a pay to win element is counter-productive to the principles of a community that strives to be a quality role playing platform. Before I go any further, I want to address the usual #1 counter-argument of /blip bashing. The "even though /blip probably earns you more money in-game, it's about the role play and not about the money". This is a bull shit argument mostly made by people that have mad bank in-game. Money and how they are earned has always been a double edged blade/topic of controversy in role playing communities, but regardless of all that it is a clear cut fact that people need them in order to portray their characters as originally intended. It is also a fact that you can tell just as good a story as a rich character as you can do with a poor one. A rags-to-riches isn't the only good storyline that ever existed. I won't even bother to argue with someone who claims that /blip doesn't automatically earn your business more money than a counter-part without it. It does. Ok? Now that we understand that donation (irl $) > /blip > (ig $) = pay to win, let's address the potentially even bigger issue. A text wall isn't really needed here. Let's just talk about venue management. Managers aren't really selected on the basis of experience, ability and quality, but on the fact wether they have /bad or not, so you as an owner can get these visitation fees coming in. So, the standards for venue management are lower, and when the quality of the management is lowered, the quality of the whole venue is lowered. I don't even know why do I have to say this. Obviously, there's exceptions in hires, but they only prove the "rule". There's more to add and expand on to here such as the customers becoming "lazy" and not visiting venues because of the quality they provide, but because they are green on the map at the time, but I'll save the extra psychological details for now, cba. /Blip can stay, but it needs to be FFA and not pay for. I understand that removing said /blip from the donation packages leaves a massive hole in their likeability, but I'm confident that if the management of this community is smart enough to get it this far, then it is also smart enough to combat this effectively and for good. I hate to say and mention it, but wether or not you liked LS:RP on its day, it managed to 1. Be a great role playing venue 2. Keep itself alive, up and running and 3. Not have pay to win donation packages. So, we've seen it done. Please. I know there's no easy fix, but please. Thank you for attending. Edit: Queue priority donation package benefit comes to mind as part of the solution. (Less wait on UCP requests) and I already mentioned LS:RP's packages and vehicle shenegians. Edit 2: Donator less time between ads can stay, but free /blip.

  18. Big big +1 on this, was intending to make this suggestion myself. This would be such a huge quality of life improvement, even if we were just given 5 slots for make-up and 5 for hair. We do already have the /hairtie command but that command is really iffy as it seems the hair colour sliders aren't all the same your hair can go from blonde to orange using the command as well as it being really limited in the styles that it offers. Being able to wear different hairstyles and different make-up/no make-up with your outfits is a HUGE quality of life addition. As to the whole "it can be abused argument": Someone that would go out of their way to abuse this can already save an outfit with hair that is completely different to their characters usual look. People that abuse the mechanics that the server has to offer are the ones that should be punished for doing so instead of other players being punished by denying them features that can have a impact on both quality of life and roleplay.

  19. I always had the idea that "JDM" vehicles should be locked behind importers. There could be a lot of roleplay for actual vehicle dealerships or car shops to do what those shops do in real life and that is roleplay importing those cars from overseas I'm sure it wouldn't be a lot of scriptwork to introduce ability for owners of a business to be able to purchase a vehicle which then would be on a cool down for lets say a week before it becomes available, it would require roleplay and while it's hopeful doesn't mean we shouldn't try. I think restricting future "JDM" vehicle sales that wouldn't really be available to just buy readily in USA should definitively be locked behind some sort of importing/dealership business that is ran by players.
