  2. Money laundering “Money laundering The concealment of the origins of illegally obtained money, typically utilising transfers involving foreign banks or legitimate businesses.” To understand how money laundering works, everyone must understand why people feel the need to launder it and what it is. So I will take this time to explain it and get everyone onto the same page. The main reason for money laundering is to conceal and legitimise the origin of money that comes from crime or other activities people wish to hide. There is also money laundering for the sake of tax-evasion. Any large scale criminal organisation is heavily dependant on someone to launder their money to avoid being looked into by authorities, and these money launderers are often one of the most critical pieces in a criminal organisation. Laundering money also allows what would otherwise be illicit money to be spent freely on the regular market, to buy properties, stocks, cars, or just other general assets, without people turning their heads. Modern money laundering is often placed into three stages, placement, layering, and integration. All stages are essential for hiding the assets exact origin or making them untraceable. If they can’t prove that the money originates from crime forfeiting these assets becomes much harder. Placement is when you move the cash from its source. The source be it a criminal activity or bribes needs to be disguised. This is followed by placing the money back into circulation through shops, casinos, financial institutions or other businesses. These businesses can be local or abroad. Smuggling currency is much like it sounds the act of moving the money and or monetary instruments in physical form out of the country into a different one, where it can be deposited normally. This smuggling uses many different methods of transportation; many people pack the cash or monetary instruments into a bag and fly to the country where it is to be deposited. Bank complicity is when a financial institution is corrupt and often controlled or owned by drug-traffickers or other criminal organisations. Having a bank that allows you to deposit large amounts of money into accounts, no questions asked makes it very easy for criminals to launder the money that way. It often goes hand in hand with smuggling currency, as an example trafficker in the states transports money he’s acquired through trafficking to his friends’ bank in Cuba, where it is placed into an account no questions asked. Securities Broker can simplify the process of laundering money. They do this through structuring large deposits of funds in ways that disguise the original source of the funds, and these can be deposits and or investments in stocks, bonds or just general shell corporations. Fund blending builds on the fact that the best way to hide cash is with a lot of other cash, some financial institutions may be unknowing vehicles for this money laundering. This is most often done by investing in a legal front a casino, restaurant, barbershop, and so on. These legal fronts allow legal deposits to mask the illegal ones. This is one of the most, if not the most common method. Purchasing assets another good way to launder money is through asset purchases, and it is a classic method. It has the purpose of changing a conspicuous lump-sum into a less noticeable and equally valuable item. These items are often expensive paintings and things of that nature. Layering is when you add more layers to the laundering scheme to make it more complicated and a lot harder to trace and track. Its sole purpose is to make the job harder for authorities to uncover the exact origin of the money. Converting to monetary instruments is a common way to follow up your “placement” activities within an infiltrated financial system. The proceeds often get turned into monetary instruments such as banker’s drafts and money orders. Purchasing and selling material assets that are bought with illicit funds can be resold locally or abroad to make the assets much more difficult to trace and eventually seize. Integration is the final step and where the movement of the previously laundered money begins. This is where the money has been metaphorical “cleaned” and can be integrated into the conventional banking system and used as regular liquid assets. Dealing in properties is a common way to return this money into the regular economy as legitimate money. Many criminal groups use their shell corporations to purchase properties, making the sale appear to have everything in order, and the money is then seen as legitimate. False loans from front companies is another common way that money is turned legit. These criminals set up a front company in a country that has corporate secrecy laws. After that, they use these companies to “lend” themselves money; these are transactions that look legitimate and require in-depth investigation to uncover properly. Foreign banks are very commonly used, with many criminals holding “Off-shore” accounts containing massive amounts of money. It is a very sophisticated method to store laundered cash as it is complicated for foreign and even local police to investigate these banks. This is thanks to loose banking laws and regulations in many countries. False import/export invoices is a method that has proven to be an extremely effective way of integrating these illicit funds into the regular economy. It involves overvaluing certain entry documents and or the value of funds acquired from exporting. This money is then deposited into domestic banks. Common fronts used for money laundering Restaurants/Bars or other business of the sort are very commonplace when it comes to money laundering. This is because it is easy to claim you’ve made massive amounts of these sorts of businesses, it is also difficult to track exact quantities sold. Foodservice businesses are some of the most popular ways to launder money through legal fronts and are very common; they can range from a local kebab shop or bar, up to a high-class exclusive restaurant. There is no set limit for what price range your food items are in, but it does depend on which amounts of money you plan to launder. As an example, money laundering and tax evasion were commonplace in Pizzerias in Sweden during the late 80s and early 90s. Many of them made massive amounts a month that was just frankly unrealistic for the number of customers Ekobrottsmyndigheten (Swedish department for Economic related crime) saw enter the stores. Their way of counteracting this was to count pizza boxes used. If they had made 2 million annually but only used 200 pizza boxes it was an immediate red flag. The same method was used for tax evasion if they had sold 250 pizzas on paper but used 1000 pizza boxes it became evident that they just hadn’t documented 3/4ths of their sales. Casinos are and have been a very common way to launder money, it was brought to a massive scale thanks to the Chicago Outfit and other parts of the American Mafia. They invested enormous amounts of money into casino projects in Las Vegas and is a large part of the reason that Las Vegas is where it is now. The way to launder money through Casinos is secure, and they are also useful as a business in general with the house always being the one who wins it is a very lucrative business. With the massive amounts of people, large Casino’s pull in, it is not hard to see why it is hard to spot an illegitimate one from a legitimate one. Amongst Casino’s, I will also count gambling dens and horse tracks as well, all of these build on the same premiss; a small bet can turn into massive profit if handled correctly, be that how you play your cards, what the slot machine shows, or what horse runs the fastest. Legitimate horse tracks can also be used to launder money. Someone’s won let’s say $1000; you can buy the ticket from them for $1100, they’ll most likely say yes. This $1100 of dirty money is now $1000 of clean money since you can just show the proof of winning and have it directly deposited into your account. Massage parlours are another very popular way to not only launder money but also to work as a front for a whorehouse. For the whorehouse aspect of it is somewhat common for them to offer “happy endings” by the end of a massage or something of the sort, which implies you pay a bit extra and the masseuse provides the client with sexual gratification. The thing that makes massage parlours such an excellent way to launder money is how hard it is to prove one is illegitimate. There’s no need for them to give out any item alongside the massages like you’d need a pizza box to carry a takeaway pizza. Massage parlours are purely a payment for a service, which in this case happens to be a massage. Electronic money laundering If you think about it, logically sending money via electronic services should be just as easy of a method to transfer money without revealing your identity as untracked and none sequential banknotes. However, It is not the case, with so much of your data being stored in massive records the capabilities of Internet service providers and network resource maintainers, in general, prevent that. With the rise of cryptocurrencies and their development, many of these set the aim to allow completely anonymous transactions between individuals, the degree they succeed in and consequentially the many benefits they offer to money laundering has, is controversial. Zcash and Monero are good examples of what cryptocurrencies can do in-terms of anonymous and unlinkable transactions. There have been e-currencies such as “Liberty Reverse” where people could purchase these coins for American dollars, and then send them anonymously, these coins could later be converted back into USD for a small fee. Liberty Reverse was shut down by US authorities in early 2013, and its founders and other associates were charged with money laundering. A strange way of money laundering has recently started rising via the internet; this one uses MMO’s such as Second Life and World of Warcraft. Games where you can buy virtual goods, services, or virtual cash which you can at a later date convert back into money. Australia is one of the countries that have set up a plan to strengthen the anti-money laundering laws. These new strengthened laws are meant to prevent currencies such as Bitcoins being used to profit crime and general corruption. These laws started being planned after several cases of criminals cashing out massive amounts of Bitcoin after ransomware attacks, drug dealing, and cyber fraud. If you have any critique, don’t be afraid to post it down below, or message me privately about it.

  3. Tigran Saroyan (born July 15th, 2000) is a 19 year old youth of Armenian heritage living in Morningwood. Born in Morningwood, Los Santos; Tigran spent most of his adolescent life in the neighborhood where he was born. The community, widely referred to as Los Santos' Little Armenia, is home to a modern age organized criminal enterprise known as Armenian Power or West Side Armenian Power Gang (W/S AP Gang). Prelude Both Arman and Milena hailed from the town of Alaverdi, Armenia. His mother, Milena Garbedian was a mathematics tutor in their town and aimed to become a teacher, whereas his father, Arman Saroyan was an apprentice to an electrician. The couple decided to migrate with their first child and Tigran’s older sister - Arev Sayoran after significant hardship faced by the family. Due to their rural location near the border of Azerbaijan, the family was directly impacted by both the Armenian energy crisis of the 90s and the Nagorno-Karabakh war which began in 1988 and ended in 1995. Due to this, the family was able to gain asylum in the United States with the help of family already established within the country. It is estimated that around this time approximately 700,000 Armenians fled the country of which most went to Russia and others to the US and Europe. Early Life Tigran was born in the summer of 2000 to Arman Saroyan and Milena Saroyan (nee. Garabedian) in Morningwood, Los Santos. The family had a difficult time adjusting to life in America however eventually both Arman and Milena found work and were able to support their family to the best of their ability. However due to financial hardship, the couple often fought which almost always turned physical leading to a hostile home-environment for both Tigran and his older sister, Arev. Due to the troubles at home, Tigran in turn then invested as much time as he could outside home - having a very close bond with his mother she would often tutor him at home in a bid to give him the skills necessary to succeed academically and to have a successful career. In school, Tigran was considered the class clown and albeit being intelligent in history and mathematics did not perform well due to his nonchalant attitude towards academia. His sister, Arev on the other hand excelled academically. SAYA - San Andreas Youth Authority As time passed and Tigran grew older, he became more and more involved with the illicit activities that occurred around him. Starting with petty crime and harmless acts such as vandalism escalating to assault and robbery. It was also around this time that his parents separated and his father moved to Del Perro. Due to the troublesome home-life, Tigran spent more and more time with his friends on the streets which subsequently led to his detainment in the San Andreas Youth Authority, also known as ‘Gladiator School’ due to the frequent brawling that took place within. It was here that Tigran at the age of 16 would spend the next year and a half of his life and try to cultivate himself into a man. During his time at SAYA, Tigran got invested into fitness and began working out and following a specific routine daily. It was also at SAYA where Tigran learned how to handle himself under pressure and to fight as it was a regular occurence amongst the hot-blooded youths housed within the facility. At the age of 17, Tigran was released from SAYA and his mother decided it’s best to put him in the care of his father which in turn lead to more trouble as the duo often disagreed and Tigran harboured significant resentment towards his father due to the divorce. Shortly after living with his father, Tigran returned back to Morningwood to be with his mother. Present-Day Tigran Saroyan is now a 19 year old man who works in construction as a labourer while doing odd-jobs here and there to provide financially for his Mother who has been made redundant due to severe arthritis. His sister, Arev thrived off of academic success and subsequently moved out of state which has led to their relationship deteriorating significantly. Tigran is considered a talkative and light-hearted individual who often jokes around with his peers, however is known to have anger-issues at times. He is a tall and toned young man due to his focus on fitness, however he has several vices which provides an uneven balance to his lifestyle.

  4. IMO the level of realism needs to be increased before this is considered. In the current system we've had men RPing with women and children, and in general I don't think we have the style of segregation that defines carceral culture in Los Angeles County and California. I appreciate total realism is impossible, but I think we can go further as a community. All of this is so important to gang culture, including on the streets, and the influence goes all the way down to non-gang affiliated friends and family. A larger population would make it easier to increase realism, but I'd like to see us commit to a higher standard of realism before moving forward. I know we are still in the early days of the project, and there's so much excitement for jail RP right now, but I hope we don't rush.

  5. If I don't call a cab, I like to swap to the first-person view and drive around for drunk driving. I already suck at driving normally and this makes it 10x worse for me. I agree it'd be nice to see more people utilize taxis or simply RP the effects realistically.

  7. I work for the Jewish Cab Company so it's probably a bit of a conflict of interest for me to say this, but it's really annoying that we'll have a few taxis sit outside of clubs and people will opt to get onto their own bikes and cars because they don't want to pay the fee for the taxi, despite the fact that they've just RP'd downing 3 pints of Stella.

  8. This is the most unacademic and incorrect statement ever. I’m for this suggestion being implemented. People carry weapons on them and even bats on their person without any roleplay. Then, when they get caught with them, they try roleplaying the weapon being in a trunk of a car. This suggestion can improve the “what’s on you is on you.” Though, we should have a command to be able to remove the display in case it’s in a duffle bag. All of these would come with rules to them.

  9. Because IC alternatives exist. There's no IC alternative to these watches for example. The problem isn't people can't RP IRL objects, it's that you can't replace existing ones with new ones. I.E You can't RP having a Mercedes because, it's literally a Schafter. It says Schafter. Can you RP it being a German car? Sure, why not. Sure, you can have a Logger but at the same time you can have a Corona? Nobody's stopping that. However, you can't call a Logger a Corona, because a Logger exists. The problem isn't the diffusion of lore and IRL, the problem is with the replacement of lore for IRL which is just unnecessary? You can do both in appropriate ways which doesn't infringe on one another. Things that exist within the Universe shouldn't be replaced with real-life things (I.E Liberty City should not become New York, or a Schafter a Mercedes Benz). However things that don't exist, I.E Watches, basketball/football teams, media entities/TV shows can just be incorporated into the world and nobody will bat an eye or say anything as long as the RP is of good quality.

  10. Meet Buck. Born on April 17th, 1992 to Woody and Sue Woods. Buck Houston Woods is the oldest among his siblings and cousins. And with the death of his father Woody at the hands of diabetes, and the disappearance of his mother Sue, Buck's put himself into the role of caregiver for his younger family members. Being quick to frustrate makes that role extremely difficult for him, and he's constantly chasing his siblings and cousins around, trying to ensure they're not getting into any crazy trouble that they're prone to be in. Besides that, Buck's an all American guy, he loves trucks and dirt bikes, comfort food, and good old Patriot Beer. Not the brightest bulb of the bunch, he has a heart of gold and goes to great lengths to take care of his family. When it comes to work, Buck'll do any odd job that needs doing, a handy-man of sorts and a Jack of All Trades. He has a part time job at the Sandy Shore's Gas Station, but hardly ever works there. He much prefers collecting scrap from around Blaine County in one of his scrap-trucks and selling it at the recycling plant for easy money. He doesn't much like the city, and is quick to dismiss cityfolk as odd or crazy, he's not a big fan of the government neither. A country bumpkin to the utmost degree, Buck's a real American for certain.

  11. No. Dont force the rest of us into this. Do you guys not remember lsrp? The average player wont want to do 5 hrs of prison rp. I dont even want to do 5 hrs of rp in the same place period. People will just get bored. You have given 0 actual good reasons for it being by force. If your reason is development, then by that logic why are PKs even a thing? The reason this isn’t a ck only server is because it would get boring. if this is implemented you will just have people afking, getting banned for afk, more people quitting to avoid jailtime. Ect. Right now jail is not boring, you rp a little and can go offline when you want and it’ll be done. If you made it forced, it would benefit literally 0 people. Not to mention the Ooc punishment aspect. You’re essentially saying: you broke a rule icly, now we will punish you oocly so you dont do that again.

  13. Rouben Sevacherian (born August 18th, 1985) is a 34 year old criminal figure of Armenian heritage. Although born in Yerevan, Armenia; Rouben spent a majority of his life in the neighborhood of Morningwood, Los Santos. The community, widely referred to as Los Santos' Little Armenia, is home to a modern age organized criminal enterprise known as Armenian Power or West Side Armenian Power Gang (W/S AP Gang). Rouben, known by associates as the moniker "Camel", has openly displayed ties to the gang since his teenage years, but has more recently graduated into firearms distribution and white collar crimes including credit card fraud and fake investment schemes. This change in modus operandi is suspected to be in part due to his connection with alleged members of the criminal society vory v zakone. Rouben currently serves as a chieftain in the Armenian Power off-branch dubbed by law enforcement as the Yuzbashyan-Sevacherian Organization. Rouben was born in the summer of 1985 to working class parents in Yerevan, Armenia. His mother, Mila Boldyreva, hailed from a Russian-background family whose history in Armenia started when the Soviets seized control of the nation in the ‘20s. She worked as a seamstress for a local market while his father, Isahak Sevacherian, worked closely with Ameriabank as an investment banker. As a child, Rouben only spent a few short years in Yerevan before his father relocated the family to Lebanon. This move occurred just after 1991, when the Red curtain fell and ex-Soviet satellite countries were once again made more accessible to immigration. At this time, Isahak accepted a more profitable position within Lebanon’s national bank, Banque du Liban, which allowed his wife to remove herself from the workforce to raise their family from home and home school Rouben. Mila became pregnant with the family’s second child when Rouben was at the age of 10. It was at this time the family immigrated to Los Santos, San Andreas to the community of Morningwood. Life as a foreign-born youth, fresh in the soil of America, was undoubtedly difficult for young Rouben. He was placed into the public school system where his parents both hoped he would gain a new cultural identity as an American and fit in better with his peers in their new home. However in the turbulent racial atmosphere of 1990s Los Santos, Rouben was exposed to more than just a new language and more Westernized culture. The school systems within West Vinewood were breeding grounds for various troubled youth navigating their way through the gangland of Los Santos. Blacks, Hispanics, and even whites cliqued together in the hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds - each with the same goal of looking out for their own people. However, there was a new group cultivating in the turmoil which was born and bred in the immigrant community of Morningwood. At the time, it was merely a group of Armenian and soviet-bloc youth reaching out to protect one another from the abuse of other teens. Rouben was swept up into this clique by some older teens who saw familiar traits in him that they’d seen in themselves. They remembered the struggle of fitting in with a new culture and bared the scars to tell the tale. What seemed somewhat selfless and positive at the time was indeed the roots of Armenian Power within Los Santos. The group escalated from this into typical gang behavior throughout the late ‘90s and into the 2000s. They claimed terrirtory with vandalism and graffiti, harassed other races, committed robberies, dipped into the drug trade like one would associate with a group of this nature. For Rouben, now nearing adulthood, the gang gave him an identity - something her very much struggled to obtain when he first moved to America. He saw the gang lifestyle and who he was as an individual as one in the same, which ultimately led to a dissociation from his immigrant parents. They shunned Rouben for his choices and with the passing of his kid brother (Manuel Sevacherian) to leukemia in 2006; Rouben lost touch with those who raised him. At twenty one, Rouben left his parents domicile and sought out refuge with his fellow gang members, spending a number of years couch surfing throughout Morningwood and North Vinewood. This was a considerably dark chapter of his life, given his younger brother’s death and the exile from his family that he faced. With little to show for himself, no formal education, no livable jobs, no place of his own, he sought refuge in the streets. Alongside senior AP member Davit “Caterpillar” Avetisyan, Rouben would participate in armed robbery and fencing stolen car parts as means to feed himself and afford certain luxuries. Davit introduced Rouben to circles of criminals such as vory v zakone which provided the pair with criminal opportunity above the typical gang MO. One individual in particular, a supposed "crowned" thief-in-law known by the moniker "Benzin" took a piece of their earnings in exchange for access to overseas buyers of stolen car parts. This allowed Rouben the means to construct a solid reputation among other like minded criminals under the flag of Armenian Power, eventually landing himself some status among the gang's senior members as a "gor." However, the risky behavior and gang activity was bound to teach Rouben a hard lesson about consequences. He and Davit were caught in 2010 evading police after committing a vehicle theft, landing Rouben with a sentence of nine months plus an additi pional year for the value of the vehicle exceeding $65,000 while Davit received a sentence of two years due to prior convictions. There was no plea bargains at stake; their unwillingness to cooperate along with the not guilty plea being dismantled in court sent the pair on a scholarship to con college, served by Twin Towers county jail. Inside the county lock up, Rouben and Davit would brush elbows with various cliques from the gangland of Los Santos. The southerners, or surenos, held the most influence of all. They ran the yard with an iron fist, backed by the black hand of La eMe under a Rene "Bosko" Blajos. Davit was easily influenced by the likes of Blajos who provided a pipeline of drugs through his network beyond prison walls and the promise of protection, while Rouben understood the lure of false promise could likely land him in a cycle of additional prison time. He used his sentence as a lesson, speaking with various lifers about the crimes they regret and choices they wish they had made. He began to idolize those who spent a lifetime committing crimes in the backs of others, taking advantage of holes in the system to keep themselves fed and safe. At the end of their sentence, Davit and Rouben had split into separate cells of the overall umbrella organization. Davit took the plunge into the pool of eMe influence, bringing about the presence of "AP-13" who paid street tax to the Blajos' Street Crew and ultimately embraced the sureno lifestyle. Rouben on the other hand left Twin Towers with a hunger for status - status which he believed was held in the hands of he and Davit's former co-conspirator Vrej "Benzin" Yuzbashyan. His "stem" of the Armenian Power organization would become known as West Side (W/S) Armenian Power - a group which maintained connections to the Russian mafia and Eurasian organized crime. Upon his return to Morningwood, Rouben reconnected with AP which had noticed a shift in membership in his absence. Half of his former affiliates decided to follow Davit into the sureno side of the organization while others either split into their own earner crews or represented the gang's original roots. Rouben sought out Vrej Yuzbashyan and was introduced to other figures within the sphere of Eurasian organized crime. In exchange for access to firearms and protection, it was agreed that under Vrej's watchful eye, Rouben would seize control of the splintered gang and act as a chieftain - linking the organized criminals and their services to the gang and the muscle which they could provide. At first tension was apparent between the two groups. Although Rouben and Davit remained on friendly terms due to their relationship and bond fostered through their youth, members would often engage in petty disputes due to their differences. Ultimately, the sureno representation overall would cease to exist as of 2018. These days, the gang roots are somewhat diluted due to a more prominent presence of organized crime within the Armenian community. Tattoos are still used to signify status within the community in L.S. though they no longer hold the same style of representation as they did in the past. Instances exist of individuals who earn their ink through criminal contribution, but others who simply wear the term "Armenian Power" as a term of ethnic pride and endearment. Through Vrej, Rouben fostered his own criminal venture; a credit card fraud ring. At first he started small with devices known to authorities as "Lebanese Loops." These little sleeves would slip into the card slots of ATMs and withhold a victim's credit card once inserted, refusing to eject it from the machine. Through this scheme Rouben would make several thousand dollars, skimming what he could before ultimately selling the credentials to criminals of higher stature. Eventually this scheme would become more sophisticated, allowing Rouben to purchase advanced card skimming units with potential to gather more information than a simple Lebanese Loop. The gang was able to keep itself off the radar of law enforcement throughout its rebuild, due in part to the attention received by the neighboring AP-13 clique and the downfall of "Bosko" Blajos' eMe empire. With the limelight focused elsewhere, W/S AP began establishing new key players such as Arman Vartanian, Arshen Markosyan, Gevork Karayan, brothers Vardan and Levon Gasparyan, and others who Rouben would absorb under his influence. The group dabbled in areas of crime such as extortion, drug trafficking, marijuana grow ops, prostitution, and fraud. The cooperative ad hoc group with Rouben and Vrej at the helm was dubbed as the Yuzbashyan-Sevacherian Organization, suggesting an existence of multiple groups involved on various levels.

Detailed description: Okay so we all know that when cars are added to the server, a lot of the time they're of the higher end. But it would be nice to see more low-medium range cars added. So I've spent the time to look at multiple possibilities that I feel would make nice additions to the server and create more variety for players. More diversity and options for players to buy low-medium range vehicles. Additional information: I know, another car thread, rather than having multiple threads maybe we could get this one locked and keep it updated, for the modders and admins to look over. I have not personally looked at each and every one of these cars in game, due to the time that this has gone up, but I'm more than happy to check them out myself, with other players or the modding team to determine whether they are of good quality.

  16. Coronavirus outbreak in Little Seoul By Johnny Sanders | Feb 05th, 2020 On Feb. 4, three coworkers of the businessman in Little Seoul tested positive for the Coronavirus. These patients had had a meeting with the woman from Beijing. They were immediately isolated in LS hospital and one of them has shown signs of severe illness. During her stay, the woman had contact with 30 people at least and had been well with no signs or symptoms of infection. She had become ill on her flight back to China and taken by ambulance to the hospital located at Bayside. SAGOV declared the virus a global public health emergency, requiring states to ramp up their responses. Also, they told SA citizens not to visit Little Seoul and advised those who are already there to considering leaving. Medical experts said the most effective way to prevent the spread of disease is for people to wash their hands with soap and water. If you have returned from China or visited Little Seoul in the last two weeks, please stay indoors and avoid contact with other people. If you get a cough, a high temperature or having difficulty in breath, call 911 and do not leave your house without getting advice from a doctor.

  18. Yeah, the whole lack of 'drunk driving' RP bothers me too. When trying to work as a Taxi driver, I'd hang outside clubs and bars to give rides to people, but it was never needed.

  20. ** Spencer Jameson brushes his hair back with his hand. While observing his own portrait in a magazine, he comes upon an advertisement. He browses the contents of the advertisement and begins to research the case, Klementz. v. Santoro. His brows furrow. ** This case disgusts me. ** Spencer drops the advertisement on the ground and steps on it. Casually, he lights a cigarette and begins to inhale its sweet nicotine. When the cigarette is halfway smoked, he drops it on the advertisement and steps on it again. **

  22. Facts. The same people who want GTA Lore to be followed are the people who RP perfect characters with 0 flaws and think San Andreas is an island with only 500 people on it Cars should be the only exception, but that doesn't mean I think people should be restricted to those car brands. If I wanna RP my tornado as a chevy, I personally think I should be allowed to do so. Restricting creativity to be 'lore friendly' has already pushed alot of people away. Personally I think 'lore' should be dropped altogether. Let people roleplay how they want to aslong as they're not breaking rules or being dicks.

  25. "Jonathan" Woods The youngest of Duke's brood, Jolene Woods lost her mother when she was young and was subsequently raised by and doted upon by many of the older members of her family. Her obedience and demure nature made her easy to handle, something that extended into her 20s. Her relatives are still oddly protective of her, sometimes making her go by the online persona of "Jonathan" to avoid online predators. "Them city boys only after one thing, Jo!" Most of her adolescence was spent in admiration of her older brothers and cousins, and only now is she starting to come into her own. Despite rarely straying far from home, Jo's beginning to test the waters of independence and is striking out for new things. This 'wild side' though is kept contained by convictions that are rooted deeply in her love for God and her family. Jolene's an avid fan of any offroading, loves classic rock, and being outdoors. She also has a blind devotion to her older sister Sally and will side with her no matter the circumstance.

  27. People needa get over this GTA Lore BS and learn to be creative and roleplay like real people, not GTA online characters. Cars are reasonable because there's a shitload of content there. But shit like clothing brands, alcohol, phones and cigarette brands should be up to the player to roleplay. I'm not a fan of having my RP dictated, so I'm not about to let someone tell me my char has to drink 'cerveza barracho' and not corona. It's simply not gonna happen because i cant and don't take GTA Lore seriously. I RP as if my characters a human being in the real world so I'll use real world brands if I desire to do so. If people don't like that? Well shit, I really don't care.

  28. The distance is fine as of current. There's no reason to increase it or revert it entirely. As a cop role player, I have no qualms with how it is right now. We're not here to catch every criminal, we're not here to ensure we arrest everyone who tries to get away. The distance currently gives a cop a reasonable distance to gauge someone's face or appearance and or vehicle if and when they commit a crime. In regards to rule breakers and not being able to see their name tags due to the system, chances are they'll continue to break rules or be found by an Administrator anyway, it's not common to have someone causing mass amounts of problems anyway. The tinted window idea above is actually a pretty cool one, however, we can't actually roll down windows and I feel it'd be a good dynamic if we could (can't see a name tag until the window is rolled down) implement it, but I can foresee issues coming with that.

  30. I think it creates great roleplay for cops and criminals alike, mistaken identities happen a lot in the real world anyways. Suspiscous or suspected vehicles get pulled over all the time and occupants are ussually subjected to an ID check and sent on their way if innocent.
