It changes nothing imo, if you didn’t mirandize a suspect you don’t have admissible evidence in the case of questioning.

Having experienced clothing items as individual items that really just borders the QOL / tedious line to an offensive degree for me. I always treat outfits like cars, just because you can get it doesn’t mean your character should have it. If you can’t justify it then you’re bound to be a walking RPQM case sooner or later.

It shouldn’t be discussed ig imo. While it’s not something that’s likely to avenue into daily roleplay encounters there’s a population of players I don’t trust with keeping the interaction to a reasonable level. Aside from this, it’s a roleplay sever and a video game. If you didn’t expect people to desire escapism from the frustrations and turmoil of real life woes then you’re in the wrong place, just give people their peace and blacklist it from IC acknowledgement.

Considering there's a plethora of businesses in the area and there's existing areas that are sufficient for the current homeless population on the server it's a hard pass for me. Also, no offense intended but homeless RP in itself is extremely niche, the people who do it are extremely talented from my experience but considering the majority of the server lives above middle class I don't think it would make much sense to organically inject these additions, and last but not least please god no I already struggle loading the map as is with all these object based mods.

Maybe it's just because whenever you name change you don't lose any assets so people just play for a long time and acquire arbitrary amounts of money. You can figure with the 200k you get for your existing bonus, it adds up to be a lot if you clock any sort of substantial hours. I think the deep dive on crime is a little much lol.

I think the whole thing is just players unable to roleplay fear; the (M)enace attempts to shoot / attack in areas that should really be reconsidered and Mirror McCatears runs a block over to fufill to get involved in a gunfight instead of protecting themselves. Are there case exceptions to both? Absolutely, but at that point it's really just up for seeking clarification from other players and getting administration involved as needed until the trend either lessens or changes to the server have to be made.

Level 6 Alarm ($1,250,000) - 95% reliability, if tripped police are informed within 1 minute via silent alarm, burglars are given 3 minutes until loud alarm goes off. Level 7 Alarm ($2,000,000) - 100% reliability, when tripped police are informed immediately with a silent alarm, burglars are given 5 minutes until loud alarm goes off. So I'm confused but since when has an alarm system cost on more than an airplane? Alot of these numbers don't really make much sense to me and maybe that's just my take but these are way too far in the direction of RPG elements. You're giving the benefit to people with more assets and time on the server. I think a good medium would be to introduce a sort of alarm system but go further by making them apply to only particular properties, otherwise you're going to have everyone with a stash-house south of the tracks throwing on the highest alarm so they don't lose their guns and assets. I also don't think the Burglar role should exist at all, push the tools into the economy and find a way to distribute them like guns, drugs, and other various illegal items. But don't have a standalone role just to promote break-ins. In current suggestion we're just getting closer to GTA:O, may as-well make the highest burglar rank cat woman so you can run in and dodge all the lasers from your 2 million dollar system.

Understandable I just wanted to make sure you knew that you had the option. Because joining the server is one thing, you are representing yourself. Your interactions are your own and there aren't any expectations from you aside the general grasp of the rules, and roleplay. When you join a faction you are representative of the entire organization through your interactions with other players, as such they are liable to have stricter requirements. This just isn't for the PD, this encompasses everything from legal to illegal roleplay. Legal have their examinations, resources, study material, etc. Illegal have their screenshot threads, day to day interactions, and everything else. When you look at that player's roleplay, you put it not only to them but associate it with their faction. In the case of the Police Department our standard is kept decently high due to the volume and frequency of our interactions with the server. This has been determined by faction leadership and management.
