  3. Short description: The newly added speed bumps don't look right and cause a lot of bugs, flying cars and what not. Detailed description: The current implementation of speed bumps look abnormally out of place and shouldn't have anything to do with roads, the suggestion is to change them out for the actual speed bump object instead that is already within the game files. Commands to add: None Items to add: sc1_22_rt_spdbump_01(Unsure if this is the exact name, but the object can be found by the military base) How would your suggestion improve the server? Generally speaking it would look better and most likely not cause as my glitches as the current ones do. Additional information: sc1_22_rt_spdbump_01 The current ones are buggy, they make cars flip all over the place even when going below the recommended speed - especially when it comes to lower vehicles. 6. This thread will follow the development of a sixteen years old Trevon Malemo. Trevon Malemo was born and raised in Davis, he was born on 10/17/2004 at Pillbox Hill Medical Center. Trevon is a real scammer and he's the best one to convince you the deal is going alright and suddenly all goes south. Trevon used to tell kids at his school he'll bring them, sweets, for their toys and he ends up taking their stuff and they never get it back, although it sounds fun but Trevon had a bad childhood. He was living with his parents, his father was an alcoholic and a drug addict, and his mother was no better than his father, the couple abused drugs and alcohol together which had a very big effect on Trevon as he grew up. One night, both of his parents were arrested for hitting a guy with their car who died, they were driving while drunk and they possessed illegal substances. They were sentenced to 10 years of jail. Trevon was only 10 when his parents were arrested. Trevon's parents didn't leave much for him and his brother after they got arrested, most of the money was spent on buying drugs and liquor. Trevon was the older brother and he had to take matters into his own hands to ensure both he and his brother are alright and not starving while his parents are jailed. A guy in his neighborhood heard about what happened to his parents so he took him under him. This guy was known for his drug-dealing but Trevon didn't have a lot of choices. He started selling small quantities of drugs now and then, working under the guy from his neighborhood. Trevon had been doing bad in school ever since he started making cash from being on the street and soon considered to drop out of school and focus on keeping himself and his brother safe. This idea came from one of the boys he met in his school called Timoteo who was stacking a lot of ideas in Trevon's head, inspiring him to try out different things with him, from drinking alcohol to smoking weed in their free time. The duo roams around Davis, trying to always earn cash even if it comes with little trouble, and more importantly have fun.

  8. People gotta remember the server's not set in some dystopian third world country. American law enforcement agencies have budgets that rival European armies.

  9. There was a 30 WP purchase, unfortunately the amount to pay was too low resulting in almost nothing received from it due to flat fees, thus it got removed.

  10. S/S Jamestown Locos are a group of teenagers of Hispanic descent within the Jamestown area and have a presence within Roy Lowenstein Boulevard. The name Jamestown Locos originates from their area of living, being Jamestown, the name is heavily influenced from already existing sureño sets which is where the group gain their inspiration from. At first the group had zero intentions of placing a name to themselves until the group were quickly grasped by the streets. As their connection to the streets grew, so did they, whilst being heavily influenced by local sureño sets and their culture, they formed the title “Jamestown Locos”. While they were only a small group of teenagers, they rose in popularity within the surrounding areas after the group was involved in a brutal stabbing incident against a couple outside of the Bilingsgate Motel, which escalated from a petty dispute between the male victim and Diego Vereda. The neighbourhood was quickly lit up red and blue as the LSPD and LSFD rushed to the scene after receiving the call. As the area was cordoned off and the manhunt began for the now labelled “violent teenagers”. As the group was laying low in a nearby garden, they were rushed by countless officers with their firearms raised and flashlights blinding. Panic struck, the group scrambled over fences for their chance at freedom as the pursuit turned hot, three members of the group were captured and arrested, leaving only a handful of members scattered across the Jamestown area as they keep their hold onto their freedom, filled with fear and anxiety on the events to follow. The ones who were arrested that night, held themselves responsible for the deaths of the victims, without snitching on the remaining members. As the nights went by, Diego Vereda made multiple attempts of gaining contact with the remaining members, whilst a couple of attempts were unsuccessful, he finally managed to bring the rest together. Although fear still lingered throughout the members, so did a sense of pride at the fact the name “Jamestown Locos” will be recognized by the locals of Jamestown and the surrounding areas, finally giving themselves a chance to become a remembered name within the area of Jamestown. OOC INFORMATION S/S Jamestown Locos will attempt to portray a fictional Mexican-American street gang within San Andreas, creating and promoting original ideas throughout its existence as a faction. The faction aims to maintain a high level of roleplay within the server. For those who are interested in roleplaying within the faction can do so by roleplaying within and around Roy Lowenstein Boulevard. Faction leadership reserves the right to Character Kill (CK) any individual within the faction if deemed absolutely necessary by faction leadership. We also request that you do not post screenshots on this thread without permission directly from faction leadership. Any questions or concerns can be forwarded to myself through discord or a private message on the forums. Discord: hipsxn#0362

  13. why do people say extremely unrealistic representations of the crime rate in LA that happen in LS is just an IC issue that the gov should handle but when cops roll deep af with the blicky and the blicky stopper to protect themselves in an environment that has more gunfights than a western movie usually, topics like these get made? i dont understand that

  14. Any examples besides symbolic Sadam? From my POV, one of the toughest things for an LEO faction to do on this server is to provide healthy, realistic responses to situations. The reason this is tough is because they have to try and do that despite the crime rates that are much higher than they are in real life. Finding that balance between providing police roleplay and responses that mirror IRL when most of the “population” is violent and the violent crime rates are so much higher than they would be in real life is difficult. And no, I’m not complaining about violent crime rates. It’s a fucking game. Violent crime is fun. So is roleplaying law enforcement. Achieving a balance when trying to provide realistic LEO roleplay responses to the exorbitantly high crime rates can be tough, though.
