  2. Short description: I think the /togtyping (..., seeing people type) script should be removed and the /exitcar command removed, due to constant bug abuse/misuse. Detailed description: /togtyping script (where you see people's ...) in my opinion is a feature that's just abused. I think the "..." script where it shows a player typing should just be taken out of the server, it's constantly misused to give people advantages in terms of shooting, fighting, and giving the hand over in robberies, so on and so forth. It literally tells people you are typing and that's a HUGE advantage if you're about to start a shootout on somebody, a fight, so on and so forth. There's literally no point for it. It's just a misused command. I've seen it abused more than I can count on two hands and two feet. /exitcar. I'm not even sure of it's use, but it's bug abused in pretty much every shootout/scenario I've been apart of. People just /exitcar, teleport out of the car instantly to get a shooting advantage on somebody. If someone needs to use /exitcar why can't they just call an admin? People have been silently abusing it for awhile and not being caught. Commands to add: Add a /isafk command instead of showing people that you're typing or not in scenarios. /isafk (ID) should tell if someone's been idle for awhile. (Say, not typing for 60 seconds.) And in that way you'll know if they're AFK or not, avoiding you. Items to add: /isafk How would your suggestion improve the server? It would clean up a lot of bug abuse / misuse, and probably lessen reports. Additional information: N/A

  4. There has been speculations lately on the corruption of our government and primarily our mayor, Oswald Halford. Following the Los Santos Transportation fiasco, and the denial of Halford administration we have received an anonymous tip with attached story and video clip evidence to back it up. ‚‚Somewhere in July I was approached by then candidate Halford's co-runner, man by the name Thomas, who was interested in creating a sort of ‚‚co-operation'' between the candidate and our small community. Throughout the talks Thomas suggested we ‚‚solidify'' our talks by meeting a man he referred to as his boss, a man none other than our current mayor Oswald Halford. Seeing as the meeting was about the community and them, I have invited several other prominent community members to attend to the meeting. The meeting itself was nothing out of the ordinary, just typical chit-chat, all the way until the end of the meeting when Thomas pulled out two envelopes, which contained grand total of $100,000. saying that they would very much appreciate fact that locals will vote for them. After that they shook hands with us and left.'' * A video would be attached below.* (( Click on the image to see full size, the tape was approved by admin team as well )) * If traced, article would lead to IP located in Morningwood gas station.*

  8. **This thread will follow the story and development of Khassan Estemirov** Age: 28 Born: Chechenya, Grozny 03/11/1992 Name: Khassan Estemirov Story: Khassan is a 28-year-old Chechen man. He was born and bred in the harsh city of Grozny having a troubled youth filled with war, crime, and many questions about his faith. During his younger years Khassan thrived in school, excelling in mathematics and literature, despite his scholarly success he was a rebellious child often going against his fathers will seeking his own meaning of life rather than what his parents wanted for him. Their constant pressure only drove him further away from their desired path. Having grown up surrounded by poverty Khassan was no stranger to doing illegal deeds, in his early teens he and some friends found work at a local mechanic’s garage who’s owner was crooked. He worked for the Chechen Mafia and had Khassan and his small group stealing specific cars and delivering them to the garage where they would be broken down for parts and sold on, to be smelted down into parts for guns which would then be sold on to separatists and Islamists. Using his academic skills to his advantage in his late teens after showing some potential to the garage’s owner, he began working the shops books, altering the income, and outgoing of the shop to launder the mob’s cash and to not raise suspicion of the shops constant flow of parts. Khassan’s parents knew of the activity and pressured Khassan to stop his illegal activities and go into higher education, make something of himself and do his family proud. He had no interest in this however and he eventually cut all ties with his parents and continued down his own path. Despite his parent’s religious beliefs Khassan always had a hard time following the same beliefs often asking many questions much to his father’s dislike. Even now at 28 Khassan is still unsure of what to think, he sticks to his country’s ways, not drinking or doing drugs, but not for a religious reason, more for his own benefit as he sees those who poison themselves as fools. He kept up his place at the garage working the books for many years, until he took one step deeper into the world of crime taking over the management of the cars which would be stolen, and where the parts would go, often taking the parts from A to B himself due to his lack of trust. Before coming to Los Santos the automotive industry was booming but it was attracting to much attention, even the best book keeper can only forge so much, not long after Khassans 28th birthday the police raided the garage finding various stolen vehicles along with some firearms and other contraband. Khassan dodged a bullet as he was delivering parts at the time of the raid, however the garage owner was arrested and imprisoned. Due to the abruptness of the raid, there was still evidence of Khassans strong involvement in the garage’s illegal activities, he had to flee, using what money he had on hand from the most recent drop to flee the country deciding to head to Los Santos, in search of an old associate and close friend.

  13. THE TORTILLA FLATS GANG (CVTF) Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats (CVTF), alternatively known as Southside Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats, is a predominately Hispanic street gang operating out of the Chamberlain Hills area. They claim the 1800 Block of Strawberry Avenue and Forum Drive as their territory, with different cliques hailing from each corner. Boasting a small and tight-knit membership, the Tortilla Flats gang has managed to stay afloat despite the various gang injunctions and periods of inactivity. Tortilla Flats publicly feuds with most South Los Santos gangs, often showing hostility towards the other Chamberlain Varrio hoods along with most African-American street gangs. Their roots of extreme violence and racism had started due to a massive rivalry against both Tree-Top and Fruit Town Piru; a gang war in which many Tortilla Flats gang members were either arrested or killed. Prior to the war with both African-American street gangs, Tortilla Flats had gotten along well with each set, however, after an incident in which a TF member had been killed by Fruit Town, the relationship between both gangs had become unfixable. Tortilla Flats had its glory days in the 90s, however, due to the increased feuds with most other sets in South Los Santos, the gang had been forced to reduce its public presence. With many older members either falling inactive or getting arrested, the gang had become dormant, subsequently resulting in them losing a large portion of their hood to the surrounding gangs. 18TH ST HOOVER LOCOS & 83 HOOVER CRIMINALS vs. CHAMBERLAIN VARRIO TORTILLA FLATS Once cordial with both the 18th St Hoover Locos clique and the 83 Hoover Criminals gang, the Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats gang managed to coexist with the aforementioned gangs since their infancy, given that their members grew up and attended school together. However, there was an altercation that took place during a tense period. During an informal dispute, an affiliate of the 83 Hoover Criminals gang allegedly took to name-calling and labelled a freshly initiated member of the Tortilla Flats gang a ‘chomo’ in his tirade. This aforementioned Tortilla Flats gang member took offence to the insult and left. He returned not ten minutes later, with three more gang members at his side and confronted the 83 Hoover Criminals affiliate. Face-to-face, they exchanged words and the 83 Hoover Criminals affiliate allegedly stated he did not call him a chomo. After a short exchange, the affiliate of the 83 Hoover Criminals was said to have asked for a fight while walking away. With something to prove and in the presence of his peers, the Tortilla Flats gang member shot him five times in the back, killing him. It is said that he fled the city shortly after this killing, never to be seen again. This was the catalyst for a lengthy and bloody war between the 83 Hoover Criminals gang and the Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats gang that claimed many lives. At first, the 18th St Hoover Locos remained impartial, given their Mexican heritage and the neutral nature between them and the Tortilla Flats gang, but that changed on the 26th of April, after Iker Garcia, 37, also known as Bandit, a beloved member of the Tortilla Flats gang, was shot dead. It is said that he was waiting outside a fellow gang member's home when a group of Hoovers drove past and shot him multiple times, hitting him three times in the face and five times in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 48 hours after Iker Garcia had away, Tortilla Flats affiliates took to the streets for hours, spurred on by revenge. The next day, a huddle of 18th St Hoover Locos were mere metres away from where Iker Garcia lost his life, and it is said that Andre Morales, 16, also known as Ghost from 18th St Hoover Locos was the one to speak when approached by two Tortilla Flats affiliates. A short exchange ensued and residents claim that Andre Morales posed no threat when the Tortilla Flats gang affiliates promptly shot him a grand total of six times in the chest before speeding off. It was at that point the 18th St Hoover Locos stepped into the war and fought side by side with the Hoovers. The war heavily favoured the Hoovers, given the limited number of active Tortilla Flats members. The feud claimed many lives from the 1800 block side of Chamberlain Hills, both gang affiliates and innocent civilians. However, when Andre Morales was murdered, it kicked off a spate of shootings that left five dead and three severely injured over the course of five weeks. It is said that the gangs took turns shooting at each other’s homes, much to the dismay of local residents. The police presence was at an all-time high at this point, a patrol car monitoring the streets every five minutes. The war had claimed many lives at this point, and so, leaders and influential figures from both sides got together and formally put an end to the feud, wanting to see progress beyond the murders. Despite this, the two parties still felt resentment towards one another, and while the killings from the war stopped, the scars remained. SOUTHSIDE BARRIO 13 vs. CHAMBERLAIN VARRIO TORTILLA FLATS At the beginning of the conception of Southside Barrio 13, the influential members and leaders of the Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats gang were once allies of Southside Barrio 13, given that they were surrounded by African-American street gangs. The influential members of the Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats gang were even allegedly supplying the neighbouring gang with drugs and weapons. Though the relationship was strong between the leaders, the same couldn’t be said for the younger members of the gangs. There was obvious tension between the two sets, despite coming from similar backgrounds. There’d be disputes constantly between the two, requiring older figureheads of the factions to mediate petty problems. One day, a Southside Barrio 13 member was loitering inside the Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats gang’s street, resulting in being interrogated by a Tortilla Flats affiliate. The situation escalated and was escalated into a full scale argument, with a member of the Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats gang being stabbed twice and spat on. He wasted no time telling his fellow gang affiliate about the situation. A meeting was set between the two leaders of the gangs, Iker “Bandit” Garcia, who at the time was one of the leaders of the Flats gang, and Solomon “Shark” Casilla, a leader of the Barrio 13 gang. The discussion at hand was at first calm, however, it eventually broke down into an argument over the facts of the situation. After an hour of sitting down and discussing, Iker “Bandit” Garcia laid out an ultimatum, forcing the Barrio 13 gang to make compromises. He gave them a deadline of agreement to which they had to follow, but the ultimatum was never followed. After a week or so a couple younger members of the Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats gang retaliated for the stabbing that took place, they would start a series of shootouts between the two gangs, kicking off a war that lasted multiple weeks. Peace was never an answer to the conflict, many members were killed on both sides, with innocent lives being taken too. However, the fighting began to die down, given that Southside Barrio 13 gang had lost a greater amount of members in comparison to the Tortilla Flats side. In the end, the violence dwindled to a near halt, with Southside Barrio 13 eventually going defunct. MALOS Today, the gang is largely inactive, save for a few members that still loiter on the gang's grounds. Despite this, however, the Malos clique formed in place of the declining Midget Dukes, who are today largely defunct after several arrests made on prominent members. Without any major influence from veteran CVTF members, the Malos have developed a different approach to gangbanging. Unlike previous generations, the Malos function without structure or formal leadership. Its young members are purely motivated by money and preoccupied with maintaining a certain image. With virtually no guidance available to the clique’s young members, this new generation of Tortilleros has quickly earned for themselves a reputation for being wild and reckless with little to lose.

  14. With the somewhat recent (i only figured this out like yesterday) ability to export properties to Menyoo being added, this brought up an idea I've had for a while but never suggested. Porting characters over from GTA World to Menyoo can be somewhat of a pain. I've done what I can to try and make it less of a pain by using my minimal knowledge of coding to make a program to convert it. However, this is still limited, the converter for reasons I'm baffled on doesn't quite get the face blend right and there's a lack of hair, eyebrows, and other overlays which aren't visible on the UCP. Having the ability to export a character with all of this already done for you would make it much easier for those who are trying to create their character in singleplayer to do so. Hair may not be something which is easily doable, due to the server's custom hair mods, so it may be better to leave that for players to add to their character. However, this would allow for people to make something which accurately resembles their character, and hopefully not make them look amazing when they look like a potato ingame.

  20. Mexico’s border towns are overwhelmed with migrants from their own highlands with aspirations of getting decent jobs. Guided into the United States by smugglers, those who make it are often in debt to the person who delivers them to a better life. Unable to read or write English, they have no other choice but to be in debt to whoever allowed them to safely make the passage. With no money to pay for food or transportation, the only viable method of compensation is a service. Immigration officials in southern San Andreas and areas of Texas near the border have been tasked with focusing on this epidemic. These areas are often dubbed at ground zero for modern slavery with an alarmingly low rate of prosecutions. Regardless of its issues, a country with the economy like the United States' would be seen as a perfect hub to provide something that people want or need, a land of opportunity and an ideal asylum destination considering the value of the country's dollar, job opportunities, and quality of life. “One rule: no violence”. The Nayarit Connection, informally known as The Xalisco Boys, are categorized as a tight knit and non-confrontational entity who succeed at operating in rural areas while attracting very little attention to themselves. Coming to the United States, The Xalisco Boys were required to avoid attention from competitors and law enforcement. Other entities faced numerous obstacles, which caused them to halt operations. They were described as conflict-averse, low-profile, horizontally-structured, and faithful to the precepts of modern marketing. The group was formally stamped into existence in the early 1990s with the rise of the opioid epidemic in the United States. The Xalisco Boys migrated to rural, midsize cities. These cities were predominantly white, but had large Mexican populations where the Boys could blend in. They arrived in So San just as a revolution in American medicine was underway, and an epidemic of pain-pill abuse was already spreading over that region. Their nonviolent ways helped them increase their profit. Members of the group are known to blend into the areas that they operate in, through getting everyday jobs—ranging from business owners to delivery drivers. The entity strives to establish normality. The group has kept their edge by utilizing non-violent methods to conduct crime.
