[IC INFORMATION/MISSION STATEMENT] Executive Security is a firm within the security sector which was founded on the 25th of February 2019 by Holly Ambrose. What started as a simple, humble two-person operation between Holly Ambrose and Annie Skylar has blossomed in to a massive self-sufficient force in Los Santos' security sector. Now sporting over two dozen employees, covering well over 40 individual shifts per week, and 90+ hours of work each of those weeks, the success of the once-humble firm is unquestionable, despite the resignation of long-time Vice President Annie Skylar. We focus on premium but reliable and convenient security for businesses owners and private citizens alike, while our client's customers can rely on us for our trained professionalism, and our personable guards who are willing to protect them, or simply assist them should they need a question answered when entertainment staff are helping other customers. The success of our firm speaks for itself, nearly any venue which a guest might visit will most likely see our personnel on-site, vigilant for any threats that may appear. In tandem, clients can rest assured they can focus on the important aspects of running their successful business, without worrying about security concerns which may endanger them, their business, or clients. That is not to say Executive Security acts alone by any metric; it is not without the ever present and stalwart assistance by the Los Santos Police Department and related agencies, who arrive to take in to custody threats which might be detained by staff, or take reports on individuals who may have escaped without posing danger to others. Executive Security practices meticulous record-keeping and our own internal report database which we freely share with law enforcement agencies or our clients on request, along with internal blacklists which ensure troubled individuals don't make their way in to our client's venues. History The Old Cronies began as friendship between a group in the Sandy Shores community who share the same passion for motorcycles. Each friend brought something different to the table, whether it be “Fat Phil” and his tow truck or “Jeb” and his expertise in first aid as hunting in the County isn’t easy when you’re 250 lb of pure American flesh being carried by 50 year old knees. Whatever you needed skills or otherwise the community came together and provided. Earl and Jebediah, two individuals with history in the “biker” scene sought to create a Club for those within Sandy Shores giving people who you’d see as Eccentric, Undesirables or outcasts a home furthering their itch to restore part of their old lifestyle. After a long hiatus in the dirt roads of Sandy Shores, the two began gathering other like-minded individuals who didn’t share the values of the 99%. This group came to be known as the first chapter of the Old Cronies Motorcycle club, the name which stems from their beginnings as a group of friends who were always there for each other, resembling a family. A family which happens to be filled with bastards, lunatics, unique individuals and eccentrics all qualities which are much too familiar in the community of Sandy Shores. They roam the County and keep to themselves. Known for their long hair and beards, unclean and very unruly. Often viewed as an offensive presence by the higher echelons of San Andreas. Home To some Sandy Shores is a place they’d prefer to visit by driving past it on the highway, it isn’t the prettiest sight. Though “Home” can blind that fact and the Cronies love it. The Cronies are fully integrated into the local community and you’ll often see them doing charity rides to help those in need within Sandy whilst promoting a good image for themselves. The Cronies know the roads like the back of their hand, and as they already were known by the locals membership has surged. If you’ve heard of the Cronies then you’ve certainly heard of their parties, they go hand in hand, Cronies love to party. They have been known to throw a trailer bash or two, some arguing that Jeb’s place is the party capital of Sandy. No toilets are in service. Short description: Segregate the prison population based on gender. Detailed description: Having spent only one day in prison, it's become evidently clear to me that this current system is moronic. Male characters in prison refuse to roleplay with female inmates and chastise and punish male inmates who do, effectively leading prison to be an absolute snore fest if you're not playing a dude. The reason for this is because apparently every female in prison is a "tranny". From a realism standpoint, I don't think it makes sense for prisons to be unisex. It's not a bathroom or a changing room. How would your suggestion improve the server? The standard for RP in the prison for female characters just simply isn't there, I don't think. You're punished for trying to roleplay with people, meaning your only viable solution is to afk and stare at the wall or go and play a different character if you don't want yourself or anyone else to get PK'd for it.

Hi, As usual when it comes to your security, I'll be writing a new thread explaining in full transparency of what happened today. Some of you have noticed, we had an incident during the night regarding the forum as it as unavailable, same for facebrowser. Waking up at 8am with the notifications on the phone, I quickly checked the forum and discovered that the database couldn't write its log in a specific file anymore, I thought there was a lock issue and deleted the file, which allowed the database to restart and I left for work. Deleting the file also free'd some space on the hard drive, enough for the server to work properly until 3pm paris time. At this time, the forum and facebrowser went down again. This time I logged in again on the server and noticed that logging partition was actually full. Which was super weird since it's quite big and it would require very big files written recently. I exported today's logs and decided to keep the analysis for later, space was free'd and everything was back normal. Fast forward few hours later, where once I'm home I notice that emails UCP application review system is broken due to the email not being sent to the users once accepted / denied. I notice that more than 2,000 mails were sent today which is suspiciously high, and that's where I started to finally make all the links in my head : our forum had a vulnerability allowing someone to massively send emails through it. I decide to login on the GSuite and discover thousands of Russian targeted phishing emails sent through [email protected] domain. The vulnerability on the forum was definitely confirmed. I went on the forum with the help of the web developpers and started looking everywhere at every potential way to send an email, until we found "Social sharing mail plugin" at the bottom of the threads, which would allow anyone to share a thread using our server mail, as soon as they were registered on the forum and without filling the "CAPTCHA" form that is here on every forms of this forum, which is the main vulnerability problem. The feature was immediately disabled, and I started investigating who abused it. The abuser account was https://forum.gta.world/en/index.php?/profile/34397-tht/ who registered today and used all the following IP addresses : His email "[email protected]" was used for registration, and I immediately reported the various phishing links. One is now terminated : The domain name is registered through "namesilo", where an abuse form was also filled : In the end, the scam attempt was to make you enter your credit card by making you think you would win some money over data loss lawsuits : I've shared the IP adresses to CERT-EU colleagues for a better monitoring of this spamming group as it seems to be quite unknown at the moment. To sum it up : A vulnerability in the social sharing mail plugin was found, as it did not force a "CAPTCHA" despite the CAPTCHA setting being enabled on the entire mail forms The mail spam led to our log partition on the server being full of 20gb of useless logs, leading to forum & facebrowser downtime since the logs couldn't be written anymore and thus it crashed the applications The attacker was able to send thousands of spam emails using [email protected] to random russian emails None of the players of GTA WORLD has been targeted in this spam, so you do not need to worry about receiving a phishing email with what I described here None of your data was accessed, as the attacker was just able to send mails with our name basicly and didn't target this community Registration emails will be down for few more hours, since our current GSuite plan limit has been reached (it refreshes every 24 hours)

Nobody wants them in the pod, give them their own and let them see how boring it’ll be. just like the outside, there are “Prison” rules set by the prisoner population. These rules are enforced by your race and the consequences of people breaking these rules is continuous RP going on between lifers. The rule of thumb has been to ignore females all together, let them have their corner and do their thing. The only time problems occur is when people try to be badass and pick fights or talk shit to prison gang members. Word of advice to everyone, just accept your races RP. Just because you hate skinheads and their lifestyle doesn’t mean your going to go off and be a lone wolf. Your going to put aside your feelings for a minute and go along with whatever is going to keep you alive even if that means hanging out with skinheads. Honestly since the release of county anybody who has openly accepted their races RP have had a good time. We aren’t assholes who want you to have a bad time, if you don’t know prison etiquette we will teach you IC.

PRODDING SHIFTS

A female part of the prison would be an extremely big pro if done, for both female and male prisoners. They could easily have their own cell block and an argument saying “Not enough pb to support it” is invalid because although it might be true depending if the server is at peak or not, female roleplayers would much rather roleplay with 1-2 other females at a single time, instead of a mixed environment where males / females ignore each other.

In an ideal world, we'd like to segregate based on gender — however, due to feasibility we cannot do that. The niche-ness of jail role play and female convicts attests this, because if we did that, there'd be barely any role play for them at all overall. I understand your concerns, and I get it — but in order to ensure long-term sustainability all around, we need to keep it co-ed. The majority of jail factions do not do this: ''absolute snore fest if you're not playing a dude. The reason for this is because apparently every female in prison is a "tranny".'' as it's wrong, weird and bad. Feel free to report whatever members to their respective faction because it's not something anyone does commonly. If the role play just isn't there already, you can imagine how much more it won't be there if we segregate gender by gender, it'll create an even smaller amount of role play. No one is going to PK you over being a female though, the jail is role played as co-ed, so they'd need to role play it like that. If anyone is being weird and bad about it, report them to their factions or on the forums. The bathroom and changing rooms are a mapping issue, we're bare-bones in the jail right now and it'll slowly be improved. Rome wasn't built in a day.

The skies darken over a sensitive topic and a very important one for both genders alike. And that is equality. The recent round actions of the District Attorney's Office has been concerning for many reasons, let alone their questionable plea deals and very lenient rulings puts not only victims at risk, the city as well. We talk about the questionable actions of the District Attorney's Office in regards to the recent case of State V. Danielle Mancuso. Daniella was arrested by Law Enforcement on Wednesday, the 4th of March. And she was accused of Tampering with Evidence, Obstruction of Public Duty, Aggravated Battery, Sexual Battery and Possession of a Controlled Substance, and yet, despite the mountain of evidence against the Defendant, including evidence that she tried to hide the evidence down the drain of her sink and false rape accusations, the District Attorney's Office seen it suitable to negotiate with the Defendant to remove three felonies from her record, and let her only have Tampering with Evidence and Possession of a Controlled Substance. And along with the mountain of evidence, which included a full laboratory analysis on the crime scene written by Aoife McCarthy, the District Attorney seemed to ignore all calls for evidence and still went ahead and negotiated with the Public Defender Jameson Vittori in which they concluded that Daniella will plead guilty to FC 109. Tampering with Evidence and Possession of a Controlled Substance. In all, a four month sentence, and a 500 dollar fine. Many people on Social Media instantly blasted the DA for double standards, many arguing that if a man did this, he'd get a much harsher punishment. LSNN has reached out to the District Attorney's Office for comment and clarifications on their work with Danielle Mancuso, they did not return calls for comment immediately. #AD

I live in the United States, I’ve never heard of co-ed county jails at all. And if there were any co-ed jails, I doubt they exist in present day. I’ve never met a person who has been to a co-ed jail rather than regular jail itself. I support this suggestion because from my experience on the server? The ratio from male to female is not dramatically uneven like LSRP’s, I’ve seen numerous female characters alongside male characters. And on many occasions, I’ve seen females outnumber the males. Honestly, if you’re not able to separate the entire cell blocks, could it be possible to at least divide the cell block in half with male inmates housed to the left and females to the right? A wall could be put down the center of the floor, a wall with some windows or something, I don’t know.

Don’t care what people claim, nobody rps with females in prison. Even established prison factions. I have been to prison and have spoken to people on discord about this. It is an unspoken rule to just ignore female prisoners completely. EVERY body does it. Suggesting people report this would be pointless. It is less immersive to have a female in prison so most people just ignore or try not to speak to them. This is the only choice we have if prisons are co-ed as it literally makes 0 sense. Females should have at minimum their own cell-block. Every female rper would prefer this. The chance you might be in prison with some other females is better than just being shunned away by everyone. The transgender thing isn’t really that accurate, never seen that. People usually just act like the females aren’t there rather than calling them transgender.

Support, makes sense even if its just a couple of rooms, like a bunk room and a small day room. That's bizarre. Do we know where this rule came from? Did someone decide that there wouldn't be any females in a male prison, so to make things make sense they declared them trannies?

You could extend that same logic into saying there isn't enough of a player-base to justify detailed, in-depth weapons & drug suppliers, even some factions that wouldn't exist with such a small population. If we are going to base RP-realism off of the amount of players in the server, you're severely limiting people who have any sort of imagination. We're supposed to be RP'ing in a huge, busy city. Large corporations and businesses exist. It's not like we have a population of 300-400 people and then no one else exists. That would just be illogical.
