  4. Thank you all for giving me such an amazing time with roleplay and everything more ❤️ From the good to not so good moments throughout the faction, each and every one of the members have banded together to create roleplay and show what Paleto could truly be. The countless hours that I've put into the faction have been well worth it, with the time I've spent with everyone apart of the family. We made The Mannix Family a welcoming space to all, and for diverse roleplay rarely anyone has seen before. Big things are still coming for some characters of the faction, and I can't wait to see what the rest of us do!

  6. The Park Rangers are unique in the fact that they offer the incentive of more people going out to State Parks and Forests, and being able to interact with LEOs that for the most part (if you aren't doing anything weird) are just going to stop and have a chat with you. There's been a definite increase in outdoors activities going on in recent weeks since SAPR has been more active, with people going on hikes on Chilliad, County residents calling the SAPR landline to deal with boar and coyotes that walk into residential areas, campers that go to pitch up tents in the wild to spend the night... SAPR has its place in encouraging and reminding the server about other avenues of RP beyond civilization. In fact, I've seen a lot more hikers and campers than hunters lately, and people are reaching out to the Park Rangers and seem to be developing a fondness for them because they're mostly non-threatening officers that are there to help color their RP and their little adventures out in State Parks. It's not about the people the faction serves, it's about the RP it encourages. And so far, it's working as far as I can see.

  8. The Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips (R60NHC), also known as Rich Rollin 60's are a primarily African-American street gang located on the West Side of South Los Santos. The Rollin 60s originated as a clique of Stanford 'Nookie' Williamsons gang, the Westside Crips in 1970. Their territory stretches along Innocence Boulevard. They are under the Rollin O's and Neighborhood Crip umbrella. Members are known to sport Seattle Mariners baseball caps with the letter 'S' which represent Sixty (60's Crip). The Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips have several cliques such as the Avenues, Front Hood, Overhills and a few others. Youth members mostly attend Innocence High School. ROLLIN 60s AND THE EIGHT TRAY GANGSTER CRIPS The Rollin 60's and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips were close allies and often dealt with feuds side by side. However, they were full fledge enemies by the 1980's. This rivalry is the first Crip on Crip rivalry in history. This feud spilled over into surrounding neighbor gang's. Gangs started pledging allegiance to one or the other (Rollin 60's or the Eight Tray Gangster Crips). Gangs who aligned themselves with the Rollin 60's went under the Neighborhood Crips (2x) and gangs who aligned with the Eight Tray's adapted the 'Gangster Crips' also known as Tray Gang's (3x). AVENUES The Avenues are a clique of the Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips and are distinguished by the Los Angeles Angels baseball apparel they wear to represent 'Avenues'. They participate in multiple fields of illegal activity, often making headlines with the crimes they commit and have grown a reputable and ruthless name in the city of Davis. Both the Avenues and the surrounding gang territory is cluttered with gang graffiti, indicating one of the Avenues favorite activities - vandalization. This graffiti can hold hidden messages of the relations each gang has with each other, often being hostile. To disrespect their enemies, they often cross out the letters they hold to their gangs name. The Avenues stronghold is on West Jamestown street. SHADY BLUE A beloved member of the Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips was shot and killed while sitting in a car at a Del Perro LTD. The shooting was reported at around 1:25 PM near the 100 block of Garnisson Avenue. Deputies responded to the scene and found the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived to declare him dead on scene. His name was not released to the public. The suspects are not known by the Police Department. Even though the events that led to his death were unfortunate, his life and beloved membership of the Avenues was celebrated with a candle light, accompanied with a cardboard cutout. After the death of Shady Blue, members adapted the slogan 'Shady World'. The phrase often being used on social media in homage to Shady's legacy.

  9. Short description: Addition of a 40mm less-lethal launcher for police Detailed description: See above, can be used as an alternative to the beanbag shotgun. Commands to add: /tw addition Items to add: 40mm launcher, no models currently available so the modding team would need to make one custom How would your suggestion improve the server? Would make it more realistic as the LAPD/LASD do use 40mm launchers. Additional information: Picture of the launcher in question:

  10. Is it time to put an end to escort advertisements? Local advertising networks seem to be carrying more escorting ads than ever. Should something be done? By PHOEBE HOLTER Los Santos, SA - Putting an exact date on when escort services started serving as a legal loophole to enable the world's oldest profession would be difficult. Legally, escorting exists in a shadowy grey area. Services claiming to provide little more than companionship or a partner for a dinner party are, strictly speaking, not breaking any laws. However, as we all know, the true services on offer are rarely what is advertised. Prostitution in America has served as a persistent issue for law enforcement to deal with and Los Santos has proven to be no different in that regard. Text messages shown to LSNN from a local escort advertisement In one such case shown to LSNN, an eighteen year old woman claiming to be from Britain was offering “anything [the customer] wishes to do, for however long” in return for a cash fee. This woman was reached through a publicly available advertisement on a local advertising network Solutions to help alleviate the issue of prostitution it have come from all sides of the political aisle. Limited legalisation and regulation has been suggested and is in practice in many states. Stricter laws, with harsher punishments is also the go to solution for often more conservative minded individuals. Prostitution is just one of many problems that local law enforcement has to deal with At it’s very heart, the issue of prostitution carries with it a deep moral debate over human rights. Organised prostitution rings often hide behind the mask of “escort agencies”, which in turn often serve as little more than a legal front for human trafficking and the systemic abuse of those who find themselves ‘working’ in that industry. Should advertisers in the state carry escorting advertisements, knowing that the services often being provided are little more than modern day slavery? For obvious reasons, LSNN itself will never carry these advertisements. Many wonder if it is time for other advertising platforms to take the same stance. > Comments are enabled Username: Comment:

  11. The ability to find streetnames by typing in /gps streetname, for example, /gps carson avenue and it would lead you to that street, or even better, adding a cross. For example, /gps Carson Avenue/Strawberry Avenue to easily locate streets instead of tabbing out to go into the mdc, find the map, type in the location, then tab back in, try find it on your map (which looks vastly different) then plot a course.

  15. Racer RP. Generic 20s something (usually) white female/male with a generic sports car. No proper character development. Nothing. Just "racing" and "car RP". This is incredibly boring and overplayed. Add to the fact that 90% of these people all look, dress the same and all work as mechanics is just boring as fuuuck. I'm a car enthusiast irl, I love my car and cars in general. It's just unrealistic. Eastern European chad thundercock mega-alpha male. Always dressed as if he just came out of the 90s. Will fight you over anything. Crime is all he knows about, character development is a completely absent. Came to the US yesterday, joins a mafia the day after. Day three he's already selling drugs and weaponry. It's cringe as fuck. I'm a Slav irl and most of our people move out to work and be good citizens with some black work on the side. Lesbian females. We get it, you're a dude irl and you've never touched a woman in your life. Soulless hood gangsta with the hood seeping OOC. Always 16 - 20ish years old. The ultimate gangster, is a shotcaller, heartless killer but also a poor suffering minority. Will do any terrible crime in an instant, without any feelings beyond "aye bruh this shyt is fucked homie". The creme de la creme is the cringe when their shitty grammar and gangster-speak seeps into the forums and OOC. They start speaking like African-Americans from the hood on the forums, OOC etc. It's so fucking cringy. Robocop. No background, no goals, no development, no feelings, no nothing. Just patrol, arrest, shoot and stare into the unknown. Hillbilly/White Trash in the county. We get it, your only knowledge of the American countryside is movies, series and stereotypes. You cannot roleplay a normal fucking person who lives on the countryside if a gun was held to your head.
