Sure, add them if they actually work and don't clip crazily? I say that because we have so many that are added to the server but are kind of useless due to clipping with all torsos or 95% of other clothing items.

I like having good guys with guns, who have some legit IC training so that they can push back against criminals without the "failure to show fear" thing. Adds a bit of balance to the streets/businesses.

Would it be possible to let us override names like "idle20" to a bit of text that we ourselves write? It's really hard to remember what anim is what when they're named so generically. If we could rename them to whatever we want, it would help us find one which fits a particular situation because it could be like "standing angry" or "standing looking at watch". Instead of just a number.

I'll raise up an old idea: make it more risky and ongoing-ly expensive to own and run such cars. I don't mean just insurance, but there should be risks to parking such cars in poor or even moderate areas. Something like scripted vandalism/arson that needs repairing. Right now there is barely any downside to owning such a car and parking it anywhere. IF it somehow gets stolen (pretty hard with fully upgraded security/tracking) np it'll be back soon in pristine condition. Well fine that's how it works in real life but insurance costs for that should be HUGE, not just $200 for a day (basically the cost of a coffee in relative terms).

Strong support! Especially for those of us who don't CK/namechange every couple of months. A character can exist for a long time and it's stupid that a couple of speeding tickets from years ago can mean that your next minor infraction could lead to a suspended license and impound.

I would say the "fix" is to smile and remember script money pretty much means nothing unless you really want your character to have one of those Vinewood mansions and have three supercars. But most of those characters are incredibly boring and eye-roll inducing.

My first comment: sometimes when you press left and right to change pages, it jumps two, which can be annoying. I believe this is because we can now hold down the key to rapidly switch through pages, but the delay is not long enough, so even a fairly short press of "arrow right" makes it skip two pages along. For example, if you do /outfit and are on outfit 1, you press right arrow and it jumps to outfit 3.

Forcing people to do things never works. They just want the cash and to level up the trucking rank. Would be better to remove the incentives that lead to not wanting to RP or add new ones that do promote roleplay.

I dunno. Guns and ammo are so easy to get and so abundent on the server, do we want to lower the requirements for robberies even more by removing the need to actually have ammo?

I think the main reason was that we already have too many "LEO" factions. We don't need yet another band of people going around with badges, bugging people and stepping on the toes of PD and SD detectives. If it was to become a thing, it should just be a department in either PD or SD.

I think they should remain armed but perhaps there needs to be a better way to ICly report bad guards or those casually violating SHAFT. LEOs don't really have the time nor interest in pursuing those kinds of allegations imo.

Unless it changed very recently it depends on the script. For example, at a cafe bpay goes to the business. At a bar it goes to the person. I'd prefer it to always go to the person tbh because WE pay for the createitem, and get nothing if the person pays (and tips) via card.

I personally would not be in favour of forcing 2fa upon every single person who can access MDC. Separate password or a pin would be fine though.

The only time it annoys me is when I do stop, but then a not code 3 LEO cruises past and through them.

They have to be strict with who is accepted because yeah it's a game but there have been problems in the past (and some would say still today) with low quality LEOs acting like robocops. So these days the bar is set quite high. A lot never make it, some only make it after like 2 or 3 tries, improving each time. Is the bar TOO high? Maybe, I know a lot of people get frustrated when their character background is seen to be "lacking" in something, even though they spent hours writing it. But I guess that's the nature of a role that is competitive (lots of people want to be LEO, so they can cherry pick the very best handfuls each recruitment drive)

Regulating who gets county properties has always been a problem really, because if it's open to all people just buy them and then drive into the city to RP. People only want the nice house with the nice view of the ocean but don't contribute to roleplaying there and bringing it life. The opposite approach is that PM keeps tight control over them and only hands them out to people who are proven to RP there and known by other county RPers. But then that all falls apart if the established factions/roleplayers drift away. So it's a tough thing to manage I think!

There is still the "commercials" problem that Stefan mentioned. If starting a stream plays a 30 sec commercial before it gets to the music you might end up just hearing 10 seconds of commercial everytime a car passes.

There has been various posts over the years to try and collate the information but it never led anywhere. Like https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/49775-low-priority-clothing-with-no-fitting-torsos/ The IDs in that one are by now, probably out of date so not too useful. We'd have to start a new list but unless a modder says they will actually look at it it would probably be a waste of time again.

I agree the clothing could probably use a "clean up" but i'm not sure a dev or modder is going to go through everything and check what clips or not. We maybe should make a list ourselves of what clothes are useless. Alternatively, how hard is it to make new torsos so that they are not useless? (question to modders I guess).
