Ok, if this might actually happen I'll add something then: The UI indication of "ATC: Online" needs tweaking. I believe it only reports "online" if anyone from SAAA is "on duty", which doesn't equate to ATC being "online". So pilots basically ignore it. There needs to be a separate command like "/atcactive" so we can specifically toggle that on and off.

It's not too bad. It says "you run over to a location in order to mug someone". That to me implies that it targets lame robberies where you park up then sprint to find the victim. So you can still park up somewhere and roleplay a more realistic walk around. Make some ACTUAL RP out of it (not just whacking civs for loot) and you should be fine?

Would be nice to have these hosted by GTAW, so they're not randomly laggy or filled with ads.

Hello. I don't see this going anywhere useful but I'll play along...yes prison time is boring so IFM/LFM/Whoever decided to lower sentences. That's all agreed and official. I don't believe there's anything similar stating that LEOs are free to ignore people roleplaying a need for the police if the LEO decides it would be too boring. Then we'd all be on the same page. Seriously NOT bashing LEOs as a whole here, just pushing back on what seems to be a selfish argument that "my one hour is important so I will only do things I find fun". Ok? What if I find being pulled over by you boring? Can I ignore that? What if I find a masked man running up to me with a gun boring? Screw him I only have an hour, bye bye. I'm not asking you to fully roleplay every dead body, nobody cares about them and we're all used to ignoring them. I'm talking about actively ignoring people roleplaying that they NEED the police, whether that be a car accident, or being run over, that their house was robbed, that somebody is threatening them, that somebody is tresspassing and so on. There are literally roleplayers waiting for you to come, and in many cases they see multiple LEO vehicles sail by casually. And your argument is "I only have an hour and that would be boring." I find it pretty amazing that you'd admit that openly on a heavy RP server. Probably just a difference of opinion, so fine to leave it here.

Normally I wouldn't bother...but is your argument seriously that because you want to have fun, you can basically ignore calls and random events on the street while on duty as a cop?

I've had positive and negative experiences with LEOs. It depends on the person really. Some of them really are interested in roleplay and take it seriously. They are the ones who stop and talk to you, visit cafes to interact and don't mind boring calls occasionally. But i've personally witnessed the bad too, many times. So if I have, I imagine others have. You can't really pretend it doesn't happen. Really obvious things like ignoring people laying injured in the road, literally swerving around them. Pursuits where civilians are struck and nobody from the pursuit line stops. Slowly sneaking past a scene where 911 has been called and not stopping. Happens all the time.

Truckers have always had this intense level of scrutiny. But it's not really much to ask that you do at least a couple of emotes at each delivery point. That should satisfy most people.

If the interior is empty but it's packed full of guns, drugs, money and whatever then that's kinda an exploit imo. You could probably be given a small window of excuse between remappings, but if it's empty interior for longer than like a week then that's shady. Maybe empower admins to just do some "imagination" RP and roleplay the robbery anyway.

The victims in these areas need the tools to actually react realistically ICly. 1) Loosen up CCW requirements 2) Confirm it's not DM to shoot a masked person running around the gardens of expensive properties. It's a reasonable IC reaction in the current environment. Of course the shooter will need to face IC consequences, but people should not be OOC scared to shoot.

Maybe there is too much administrative burden in these "back office" tasks? The main duty of admins should be the frontline presence imo. Not blaming any specific subteam here, but it's just how things tend to go....things grow over time naturally and occasionally just need cutting back and getting back to basics. It shouldn't be a paperwork-fest. It's a game and the actual ingame experience is suffering from a lack of front line presence.

Cat ears are kinda rare these days imo, trying to bring them back tho.

I think we can get cats and dogs with PP, but...it would be nice if we could actually earn those again.

The problem is lots of people doing low quality muggings right? So how about something like a "robber role" that people can apply for? If you can keep them high quality and don't go on robbing sprees, you maintain the right to do them without seeking permission every time. If you start to collect admin punishments, the role is removed from you. Yes it's still very restrictive, but at least it would allow for SOME people to do it and would encourage them to keep it high quality.

Yes I believe that "fee" for creatitem goes to the business, then the employee keeps the actual payment. Which works fine for cash payments, but for some reason they made card payments go to the business. So when somebody pays by card the employee actually makes a loss 🙂. Luckily, the occasional tip is enough to cancel it out.

Multiple things going on really 1) LEOs not wanting to go to boring calls, everyone knows that. That's something for PD/SD leadership or LFM to either fix or agree it's fine. 2) Not many active coroners. Leading to long waits, making number 1 worse. Again something for DMEC leadership or LFM to fix or agree is fine. I can make some possible suggestions that might help other than that? Like allowing coroners to view 911 calls, and attend calls without the police. I'm sure they'd like the freedom and there is very little RP justification for attacking a coroner removing bodies from the streets....so there isn't REALLY a need for police to be there at least half the time.

This seems to have worked for me so far. Would recommend giving it a try.

Detailed Description: Right now, if you link your Disc to your UCP, you can get text messages from the "GTAW Phone Alert" bot if you're offline, so you never miss a message. But it seems like this doesn't work for group chats we're in. So this means it's really easy to miss group messages. I propose that it would be nice if messages sent to group chats were also sent to offline members via disc. But perhaps make this an OPTION per group chat, in case some people are in very active and spammy ones. How will it benefit the server?: Better tracking of group messages. You can see what's being said even if you're not IG. Currently the group chats look totally empty if you were not ingame when a message came.

Have any CIT robberies/attempts happened so far?
