I'm sorry but I disagree with the statement that this is a heavy roleplay server. It used to be, but it isn't anymore. and I don't think vehicles can be blocked off without limiting access to it completely for on-foot traffic, this would cause more harm than good for people who use the subways.

Just implement bans instead of admin jails and warnings, problem solved. Fucked around? Go do something else for a few days. Admin jails are useless, they go on your record and you get to take a 30 minute break from the game. Woo-hoo. It's not really a punishment with the current system, I can cook some dinner and be back to do it all over again.

pretty much sums it up. Plus let's not forget that cars tend to bug quite often because of other people parking on the same spot. Restricting fixveh would only be worth it, if all player cars stayed spawned 24/7 which isn't the case. Though even then, issues may still arise.

You cannot just fixveh a vehicle that has already been spawned for a while.

Happens all around the world. It's a snowball, not a grenade. Go outside. 90% of these things happen and are realistic, 10% like jumping on cop cars or running up mid-pursuit doesn't. This is yet again a thread asking for something to be removed because a minor minority does stupid things. Don't see us begging to have spike strips removed because some officers put them under the ground, or have guns removed because people dm with them. Punish the person being stupid, not the whole server.

in mta there was handbrake system that would freeze the car in place, would be nice to have here though to combat the issue of half the cars being halfway on the sidewalks because of people who can't properly judge whether or not they should fixveh before spawning a car or simply crashing into them.

Staff is already very busy, with sometimes reports taking upwards of two hours during peak. Adding this, would only slow it down even more. Though I do fully understand where you're coming from!

It's not about LEO's, it's about being able to trust the community with this power; and clearly, this is something that cannot be done as seen previously before it was removed. You'd have people riding around the city on bikes waiting for shootouts to happen so that they could steal their guns. It ain't DayZ, it's unfortunate you went through this but the alternative is 10x worse.

It's a good concept, that can be done properly with the right people and that is exactly who we have leading this. As for concerns brought up about the questionable things happening back on the other server, shit doesn't fly here and would end up in a community ban more than likely.
