  4. Yes. I'll lock the thread, the garage issue is very temporary due to the 70+ new cars that everyone wants to mod. I've also increased trucking stocks spawning to make it 2x faster for now.

  5. You'll be best doing some research and presenting mods you want implemented instead of the blanket add this vague thing i have no idea exists type suggestion. I'll update the reply if I find anymore but the only one that comes to mind is this one; https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/max-payne-3-hair-for-mp-male

  6. I’ve said it earlier in the thread but I’ll say it again, reworking the whole trucking script is a must. The RPGish mechanic of leveling up to use a different truck needs to go, it honestly serves NO benefit. This could easily be fixed by having people either purchase their own trucks and working independently (with the 70% cut), or be hired by a trucking company where they can be given access to vehicles and the trucking companies can determine who gets a small van and who gets a bigger one. Currently, as it has been stated many many times, people do not want to do the trucking job because it’s a chore and quite honestly, in terms of forced RP to roleplay every crate, it’s kinda bad. Let people do one or two lines of RP then unload the whole truck, really no one cares whether truckers do a complex roleplay scenario when it comes to unloading or not. They’re essential to the server, just like RL, the grind is enough. Second idea is to add a parts system and store where players must own said stores and people or mechanics must go and purchase parts individually, which then they’re required to take back to the garage and install it. It adds new business opportunities, more roleplay opprtunities, more money sink and realism. thirdly, make modifications harder to acquire in general, not every car needs to be maxed out and for a “heavy roleplay server” I think it’s very non rp how every damn vehicle has performance modifications. it’s unrealistic, we should strive for more realism. The goal is not to ruin your fun, no. Realism CAN BE fun. I’d argue it’s the whole point of playing on a heavy RP server. thanks for coming to my TEDx talk.

  7. Short description: Title, the car is slower than a Kanjo that costs 50k. Detailed description: It doesn't make any sense, I could give you many reason and examples but you already know that the nerf doesn't make any sense, I'm not even the owner of the vehicle, I don't drive fast in town, but the nerf is unfair, the car was fine enough by default. Reaches 100mph and downhill. Commands to add: None Items to add: Revert back its speed/acceleration. How would your suggestion improve the server? Make it more realistic, maybe? Or do we only want realism when interests us? Additional information: Video: https://streamable.com/ftwdo4

  8. Hello! After some internal faction discussion, I've been encouraged to share my idea with the community with regards to LSGOV's Department of Public Works. This particular suggestion is quite simple: Add a new entry to the /onduty list showcasing available Public Workers and add a /duty script functionality for LOSGOV that only Public Works may utilize while performing their duties to go along with that. Why?: If you're not already aware of their purpose, LSGOV's PW is mainly (but not only) responsible for the realistic portrayal of vehicle towing/transport operations for law enforcement factions. They essentially support LEO factions when it comes to the aftermath of arrests and/or pursuits, utilizing their own government issued flatbeds/towtrucks to handle impound and transport requests on behalf of law enforcement factions to expedite their process. Much like Coroners or, say, Mechanics in our server, those two roles they are displayed on the /onduty list so the playerbase may check whether it's encouraged/necessary to call upon those players to help them further develop their roleplay or not. Public Workers play a rather big part on the closure of RP incidents involving LEO factions and, therefore, in my opinion, having them publicly displayed would benefit every player in the server but specially LEO factions who are seeking realistic logistic operations RP with LSGOV. If you're still not convinced, let me add that PW is not only involved with mere towing RP. Any governmental department or agency CAN call upon Public Works for, say, fix a broken hydrant or repair a street light post after a successful pursuit; seal a hole in the ground caused by incidents; assist in traffic stop operations; remove debris/clear out specific spots in the city or county; perform engine script repair on government/agency's fleet vehicles; etc. I could go on but the list of available RP opportunities is nearly unlimited, and having our PW boys displayed on /onduty would tell the world they are ready to enhance your RP.

  10. This group unfortunately does not align with the interests of the server at the moment nor do we feel that it will anytime soon. Alongside this, the group leader was recently character killed and came back on a different character to lead the group. You can consider this group and concept closed by IFM.

  11. LEO's aren't meant to floor the gas through the city whenever a 911 or a panic alarm comes in, they're actually meant to drive responsibly during code 3 driving as its more likely to get in a crash due to other drivers not paying attention, that includes to making sure you don't blast through a red light at 120mph, but to clear the intersection or slowing down for speed bumps so you don't fly off a speed bump in this case. Anyone who mashes the W key while being an LEO when responding to anything should rethink their decisions and portrayal. I definitely agree with introducing speed bumps, far too often you see people driving around like its GTAO without a single care for any traffic rules, regardless if they get stopped and ticketed or anything like that. Speed bumps in key locations would certainly help reducing the speeding in the city as well as the county towns and it's already done IRL so why not?
