  6. It was the most fun I've had on the server in months. A lot of planning went into the LSSD response to this and all of us enjoyed the event thoroughly. While something of that caliber may not have happened literally in real life, as previously said, an entire neighborhood in Seattle (including the Police Station) was taken over for weeks during the summer protests last year. What happened here isn't too far of a fetch.

  8. Just to be a bit more specific with this one, none of the /equipment XYZ commands to give you a different duty pistol work.
  9. Coming as someone who dealt the juvenile "this is MY sand castle" politics on LSRP, it is genuinely a breath of fresh air to see how different it is here. Anyone who suggests the LSSD be confined to the "County" (which is a disingenuous term in itself; the county includes rural and urban areas) have a very limited concept of how local government works in the United States and probably have no business making impactful decisions involving those concepts.

  11. As stated, police response time in rural areas is supposed to be high. It's part and parcel of living in the sticks - help is going to be a good distance away. That being said, I think it would be very unreasonable and unlearned to say that the LSSD neglects the Blaine County area. There's almost always at least one unit in the area and, if a 911 call comes in, a lot more rush in. The age old stereotype of the Sheriff's Department being mandated to do laps around Route 68, Joshua Road and the Senora Freeway is very dated. I'd challenge many people to do the same and see how long it takes before they pull up in a parking lot and watch Youtube videos.

  13. Username: The Fun Police Comment: Wonder who this dumb bitch will call when one of us peasants trespasses on her fine Vespucci condo grounds.
  14. In agreement. It's better than a free-for-all radio frequency with dozens of different people from like five different factions all sparring for air time. Also makes sure that you only hear radio traffic that's relevant to you (e.g. why would an LSFD member need to know about a pursuit going to Mutual Aid?).
