  2. Simple solution which is good for PD impounding / moving bikes ,criminals stealing bikes for parts, biker gangs or just for those who want to transport a bike round in a van or tow truck. If possible add a script like the corpse system where you can despawn your motorbike / bicycle into the rear of a van then once you've arrived at the destination you can do a /unloadbike command and the vehicle respawns at the rear of the van/towtruck. Anybody should be able to do the command not just the owner of the vehicle itself.

  4. Written by Callie Palencia Written on the 11/MAR/2020 Los Santos, the city of saints and sinners, but lately, the crime in the city has been on the rise, and from a recent LSNN Publication, being inside a jail is probably the most dangerous place in the city, due to it's rampant crime and murders, check out THIS article for more information. So, you've just arrived in Los Santos, and you want to keep yourself safe, how exactly do you arrange that? Well, we sat down and spoke with the experts in the industry, Executive Security and asked them all things Security and Safety. When keeping yourself safe in the city, we asked a group of staff from Executive Security, what are the top tips for keeping safe within Los Santos, here's their replies. Holly Ambrose: Try not to travel alone, especially in the evening. Just as well, please exercise your second amendment rights as afforded to you by the Constitution. Finally, when driving and you need to look at your phone, try your best to pull over in a highly visible, public place. Same goes for going places on foot. Try to always be visible to other people. Keep your surroundings and the people there in mind. On a specific note, watch out for people with dirt bikes. When asked questions about the company itself Valerie, the Management Assistance, she stated the company had over 20 active staff, whom went through extensive vetting and background checks before being brought onto the company. Furthermore the company also announced it's new fleet of security vehicles, which helps it have a presence and offer a form of deterrence of crime, for the venues they operate at, which currently stands at a dozen active contracts. When asked about any form of emergency responses and it's services, Holly Ambrose replied with "We do not offer emergency response services, as we believe it would infringe on the purpose of law enforcement in the city and state. However, we offer a wide range of other services. Most notably, venue security, but security systems installation bodyguarding, and event security as well" ES Patrol Vehicle File Picture - Credits: Executive Security #AD

  5. Real jails are irrelevant, real world is irrelevant. It’s about the roleplay experience and how it’s trash for female characters in jail.

  6. Honestly, this faction was complete fucking garbage when it started, but slowly and steadily it improved. I'd consider this now a role model for other factions on the server. It's truly a solid faction. How much these guys have improved over time is super impressive. This shits grimey asf now. Keep it coming! Much love, my rollondos. ♿️

  9. Levon Gasparyan (Born January 22nd, 1995) is a 25 year old criminal figure of Armenian heritage. Born in Los Santos, San Andreas; Levon has spent his entire life living in the neighborhood of Morningwood, Los Santos. The community, Widely referred to as Los Santos’ Little Armenia, is home to a modern age organized criminal enterprise known as Armenian Power or West Side Armenian Power Gang (W/S AP Gang). Levon, known by associates as “L” has been associated with the gang since his youth, having been drawn to the criminal lifestyle by his brother, Armenian Power lieutenant Vardan Gasparyan. Levon was born in January 1995 to a lower middle class family, his father Igor Gasparyan was a mechanic while his mother, Isabelle Gasparyan worked as a seamstress. Both his parents had immigrated from Armenian in the early 80’s, looking for a better life for his older brother Vardan. Levon was never much like his brother and the two seemed to have walked different paths since birth. While Levon excelled in school his brother fell behind, turning towards the streets the older they became. Beginning in his teens Levon worked at the Morningwood General Store, rising to the position of manager by the time he started his freshman year at ULSA. Levon, a kid who had skated through life on the bare minimum; who had breezed through highschool without even studying for a test. Was not prepared for college. The new found freedom from living under his parents roof mixed with a new found love of girls and liquor had completely changed his priorities in life. And not for the better. By the winter of that year Levon had been academically suspended from ULSA and would not be welcome back for the spring term. Returning to his old stomping grounds in Morningwood he resumed working at the Morningwood General Store, it was during this time that Levon began associating with his old brothers friends and Armenian Power associates, Arman Vartanian and Gevork Karayan. Levon had returned to the neighborhood at a troubling time, recent friction between members of W/S Armenian Power and members of Russian organized crime led Levon to being kidnapped by Russian criminals attempting to extract information about the gang's criminal activities. Unbenounced to them Levon was not involved in any of the gangs activities however they continued to torture him, leaving him with a cigarette burn on the left side of his neck. Following this traumatic event Levon began struggling with PTSD and a depressive episode most likely caused by a lack of treatment and an overall stigma surrounding mental illness in the Armenian community. Nevertheless, due to a spiraling relationship with his brother and a craving for recognition from older members of W/S AP Levon began actively pursuing a life of crime. Leveraging his position at the Morningwood General Store to install a fraudulent credit card terminal on behalf of Armenian Power figure head, Rouben “Camel” Sevacherian. This began a slow but steady rise for Levon within the Armenian organized crime enterprise that law enforcement has dubbed The Yuzbashyan-Sevacherian Organization. A rise that has seen Levon expand his criminal activities from petty theft and financial crimes to arms dealing and drug trafficking. Links: Vardan Gasparyan W/S Armenian Power Rouben Sevacherian

  11. I think this is super positive news. I think most of us appreciate this is a work in progress that is always moving forward. I feel like this is an area that might still require special attention, especially considering how recent co-ed interactions have ICly spread into court cases and news articles, effectively transforming Twin Towers into a co-ed facility. IMO it's a great start! Obviously perfection is impossible and a single faction can't be expected to handle something this big by themselves, but isn't the long-term solution to create a women's facility/wing? Realistically there would be less violence and no male-style prison gangs, so presumably it would require less attention from guards/admins. Obviously that all takes a lot of work, but surely in the long-term the entire community has enough talent to handle this. I don't think we should be too pessimistic, GTAW is its own thing and always growing. ?

  12. We've discussed the issue and we're going to be assigning all new (and current) female inmates to B Pod as a permanent assignment, however, they can roam and enter the other pods, yards, halls as they please. The only difference is that if there is a recall or something that happens, on an in-character organizational level — Males will stay in A Pod and Females will stay in B Pod. There is no long-term feasible way to counter the issue entirely, and that is coming from years of prison / jail role play from myself — it will never, ever be fixed and perfected in the way that we want it to be, so this is a start that we can gauge and work with. I know it sucks for female role players at certain times, I know some people are weird about female roleplayers in-game, but there's only so much we (as a faction) can do in order to ensure both sides are kept happy and motivated.

  13. This, and uh, on other communities where they tried this level of scripted disaster it turned into a few days of pick your favourite 2012-esque disaster movie. The roleplay can be fun but it breaks the entire server for a while, and uh, honestly? Who wants to RP sitting at home nursing a fever? I sure don't.

  16. I've been hoping for cyber crimes for years but the limitation has always been a lack of game script mechanics to support it. Don't get me wrong you can achieve it without scripts but you would need to do more pre-planned cooperative roleplay since there is no way to actually hack randomly. If anyone is interested in that, hmu.

  17. Everyone's roleplay experience is different. Even with over 1000 hours roleplaying on this server I have had issues starting new characters because of the same issues the original poster has said. Can you find roleplay if you put effort into looking or talking to randoms at bars? Absolutely. Does more variety of non advertised roleplay happen once you've made some connections IC? Usually. I think the point that they are trying to make is that it's hard to "organically" develop your character without forcing interaction. Irl most people meet at school, work, through mutual friends and family, church etc. However when you start on the server you generally don't have those things to rely on at first so there is a lot of wandering around or going to advertised events to just find people to interact with and those things might not suit the character they have created. I don't think it's unreasonable for people to hope for more chances to interact outside of advertised events. However, text rp is a niche community and with the size of the map and diversity of themes people want to play it makes for a diluted community. There just aren't the thousands of players you would need to create a fully functioning city and asking the admins to provide events to appease everyone's roleplay styles on top of everything else they do is not feasible or fair. So, while I don't agree with the people in this thread telling the OP that they are wrong or alone in their opinion, I do agree that if you want to see a type of roleplay or change then you need to take the initiative to start something. There is nothing stopping someone from putting up an interest thread to try and do some of the constructive things mentioned in this thread like starting a community group or seeing if there are people who want to run something around the university etc. I do think that was actually part of the intent of this thread and I feel that it's a shame that people felt the need to basically tell a player that their experience is unfounded. Sissy, if you ever want to brainstorm or try and get something along these lines going feel free to hit me up in forum PM. @Sissy

  22. Fact of the matter is, coed county jails are not unheard of. They do exist. If you do a little research, there are quite a few. The issue with this though, is the realism of how closely these jails are monitored by guards. I've read some first-hand accounts saying that coed locations have guards in every area of the jail 24 hours a day, to monitor the interactions between males and females. They step in when necessary if they feel something is going to go wrong. I haven't role played in jail yet, so someone correct me if I assume incorrectly (apologies in advance). Unless there are multiple guards online every hour of the day, I don't think maintaining a coed jail is realistic. I understand the OOC issue of female to males, but I've read from several people that is not as big of an issue as it seems. From most people on this thread, it seems a consensus is forming that not separating males and females isn't working as intended. The idea of not separating them was to be able to provide RP to both males and females. If the males are pretty much acting like they don't exist based on an unspoken rule, then the females aren't getting the RP anyways. This should be revisited by the County Jail faction/staff in my opinion.
