  1. I think some people may fall in the former category when they get a little tired or simply want to have fun and joke around a little, I know I do it sometimes but only with a close circle of friends so it doesn't impact other people's roleplay but I never do anything over the moon. I think it's excusable if everyone's on board, it's not if you're in an open area with other people you don't know, it's also not excusable if you do it most of the time you roleplay because at that point you're twisting your character. I wouldn't really call it metagame either but I wouldn't know what to call it tbf.

    Hunt: Showdown

My luckiest bonk kill yet, I'm unsure how that charged shot with a heavy knife didn't oneshot me.
  3. Pretty sure it's already banned, i've seen scenes voided because of rape accusations, it's too much of a cheap and common card to play either way, it's scummy.
  4. As someone who works at the port I can tell you that we had people threatening workers, shooting the port up, shooting deputies (3 died just the other day in an ambush), we have multiple trespassers but we can't do much about it other than keep an eye on them and call the coppers, there's IMEX, KT, BWL, Alcoclub and SAPA all situated on Elysian and Delta is nextdoor in Cypress at former Thompson's HQ so the area can be very heavily trafficked, criminals don't care how many people are there even when they are actually there, there's people robbing IMEX or pulling out heists quite frequently even when there's ten people around, hell, someone tried to kill a G6 member in IMEX when there were 4 patrol cars outside IMEX like what the fuck.
  5. I think anything younger than 16 should be restricted to family rp not criminal faction rp or not allowed at all, whats the point of rping a kid char that doesnt act like a kid anyway
  6. Username: proudrepublican Comment: lol imagine if the democrats legalized prostitution, pimping would become legal and like mr. anonymous guy says, no one can tell the difference.
  7. The wiki link maybe? i don't even know where i can access it.. and https://sagov.gta.world/
  8. Would be nice to see Sandy community take over the quarry just like Paleto community is taking over the mill! Would definitely love to interact with another major legal fac!
  9. At the port we let people create their own scenes, e.g. we inspect containers and whomever (if anybody) decides that the container is leaking/damaged/wrong spot or whatever thing that makes CLEAR LOGICAL SENSE becomes the DM for that scene, people ask in /do and he replies in /do, else we'd just be mindlessly doing the same thing over and over, the job would get boring, people would quit because ultimately you want to roleplay not stare at a container and copy paste the same emote, you want something engaging, we also create chemical issues like spills and whatnot and have more plans for the future to involve our fellow LEO frens. I think DMs are a good idea, I don't get where the whole D&D idea comes from, if you think about it that way, any event held by LSGOV or whatever other entity is also a big "DM" event because it was created by someone, for a purpose, for players to play in.
  10. An extremely complex economy can't happen and wouldn't be fun, having been part of many servers where funds were always 0 across the board for the whole playerbase, I can tell you that something that costed 2000 at day one would cost around 6000 to 7000 in four months or so. A game economy is simply unfixable and wouldn't be fun to RP in (or not for most imho) but that shouldn't mean we should give free reigns over the game economy. I've seen a sandwich go for literally 3$ as well as 200$ it's just immersion breaking more than anything which is what I'm complaining about, I don't care if you're a Davis gangsta and have 1bln in your bank account as long as you limit yourself to whatever assets your character would have, at the end of the day it's just a number that you don't really see, MONEY IS USED TO FUEL ROLEPLAY but some people just don't seem to understand it, I personally spend money on the dumbest most passive things that would make sense to own, books, cologne et cetera but right now there is no "standard pricing" for anything which is odd, the economy fluctuates pretty hard. edit: If you're ICly rich and SCRIPTLY poor just rp as being rich and vice-versa, at the end of the day RP is all about imagination, just a play of façades of pseudo realistic character portrayals, nobody should judge your poor character for having 1bln in their bank or your rich char for having 5k, that is just a bad practice and not roleplay.
  11. Bro you can get 42k for 3 hours of work a week, is that ooc grind? lmao LEOs have to work 20hrs a week to get full paycheck is that a grind? No because you're paid based on activity, you're not either paid or not, you're paid on the amount of effort you put in. I'm just tired of all these 21yo characters that have mommy and daddy's money, sure I can understand why people don't want to do job rp but it's just so common that it's kind of annoying and they can get away with it because there are no expenses at all. If money doesn't matter then let's just give everyone 1bln and have them roleplay their character the way they want, they can /charity or they can just use it all on 4 cars and 2 houses while being unemployed or just use it as their character should. Personally I like job rp so maybe I'm biased? I don't know, either way if you think your char should be a milionaire (but scriptly isn't) you can either A) pretend B) actually ask LFM for money, afaik LFM helps with business start-ups (as well as the state government ICly) -edit: I'm not against having a start-up money, just not 200k which I think is pretty high, you need to have some sort of money to get your first car and apartment, I'm just baffled by the general lack of people rping their finances as they should (namely the mallrats) and the fact that the economy fluctuates a lot because there's no real "standardized price"
  12. Yes, one of the first things people told me to do was to use charity or to keep the money until it made sense to have as much as I had, charity would work but honestly after making nearly 70k/day I just preferred to stack the money and only used as much as I had, for the longest time I would use 200,000 as a "0" so anything below 200,000 would send me "in debt" I agree the server sorely needs expenses.. Making money is so easy that if you complain about not having money you're probably doing something wrong..
  13. I was invited by someone and he told me I'd get 200k starting paycheck and I was baffled as to how the hell an economy would work with such an instant influx of money and it doesn't, before even getting in the server I had already told him "wow this must cause huge economical issues within the server" which proved to be right. As for the govt paycheck, if you think about it, if you're a gov worker you should only be doing that and nothing else thus receiving a weekly payday. When I wasn't a gov worker I could easily make around 70-100k a day, one day I even made 70k in 45 minutes, money is crazy easy to get when you're not a govt employee too, now I get 60k weekly but I clock in every day, nearly all day and I keep getting called on duty and I can't just say "no" as easily because I'm not a replaceable pawn like a bartender.

  17. Username: Gwws Comment: There's a myriad of other jobs she could do that are actually legal, it'll break her nails from the hard work but I can assure you it'd pay more or at least be safer, I'd never trade my own safety for a paycheck, would you? Because this line of work isn't legal and isn't safe. Edit: Shit like this happens all the time, I have Turkish friends who are old-traditioned and I can 100% guarantee turkish "old traditions" don't involve pimping your daughter and shit like that, her father and her husband were just monsters but we shouldn't make a generalization.
  18. +1 not only for those that disconnect by mistake or crash but also because some abuse this to remove their drug effect status..
  19. +1 Killing people within buildings is almost like a safe bet, one could argue that in a 22 story building you wouldn't hear much if it was on the top floor however. Also there's a script that allows people from outside to communicate inside if I remember correctly so it shouldn't be too hard to implement I feel like.
