  1. I've had this same problem in the past - I ended up having to reinstall. +1, would love to know a solution.
  2. I agree with the idea that seeds should be more commonplace throughout the server - they're quite easily acquirable out of character, so I don't know why this wouldn't be replicated in character. /harvestseed allows more seeds to be in the game, thus leading to them becoming more commonplace throughout, eventually leading to a realistic level. +1
  3. I support adding this. Right now it's SUPER easy to /createdrink a cocktail that is (for example) composed of Vodka, but the bartender could /createdrink it with a rum base, thus profiting off of the difference between the two price points. It's not really a big deal, but it prevents powergame that could potentially be used in the eyes of a grinding bartender :).
  4. There's only one thing I can say about this: It's a useless suggestion. People who rob are in it for the character development (i'd hope/assume) and not for the physical money itself. There are thousands of other ways to make money, not to mention the $5,000 paycheck you get for the first 40 hours of your characters life on GTA:W that could make up for it. If you have a problem with taking the cash of the cashier who sat there and earned it properly - simply don't physically (/pay) take it! You can roleplay taking cash from the cash register as you insist throughout the description, but I feel that there are much better things that warrant addition to the script before this RPG-ey type system.

    Ban ERP

    Yes. Get rid of ERP.

    STD's

seems like a very NGG/RPG type command/script I personally don’t think the server needs this to “improve e-rp” as people the people who do such rp are already fully capable of rping an infection without being forced to do it via a script...
  7. GTA World Vatsim? I'm down. Make this a thing.
  8. https://streamable.com/goned Offering bus tours since 2017. There is not a single person or company that can relate. + VIP since 2017.

    Keybinds allowed?

Restricting the use of keybinds is one of the keys of having flavorful roleplay occur on the server. If allowed, many people would use them in scenarios such as the trucking script, essentially leaving people looking like robots with the same, repetitiony /me on every chance they have the opportunity to roleplay a diverse scenario. While yes, they might be good in situations such as /ame's for descriptions, but we have /attributes as stated by @Bash. Alongside this, there are already server-sided binds for doing simple commands that are too cheezy to type out, such as entering buildings, locking buildings, locking vehicles, and turning the engine on in vehicles. Binds are essentially useless on the server, unless someone is seeking to use them maliciously (i.e spamming /mes to avoid having to thoroughly roleplay trucking deliveries)
  10. Considering the fact that, realistically, the plane could be fully controlled by any of the front two seats, I believe this command should be implemented to maximize and promote roleplay, without forcing you to land and get out of the plane just to roleplay a change of control. That being said, I think it should also be implemented for cars too, as you could realistically move inside the vehicle without ever stepping out, and with it already being added for airplanes, it could help with RP immersion in cars as well. However, I don't know if this is easy or possible to script without the potential of large bugs causing people to crash on both ends, in turn, having the plane crash somewhere.
  11. I've seen too many Oracles, Seraphs, and Komodas being driven around (myself being a part of the problem), and I believe there should be a greater inventory of cars to select from, to have a greater variety of cars being driven around on our server. It would really work to help the immersion, as long as good mods are selected.

    Broken Bottles

I was about to write a suggestion for this, and found this while looking for previous suggestions to make sure im not duplicating, and it seems that this idea has been lost since 2019 (so here's me bumping it! :d). I am in HUGE favor of this, and here's what I wrote up for what would've been my own suggestion: The title of this post essentially explains what I feel should be implemented into the game. You should be able to break bottles (the beer item specifically in my eyes, due to the fact that much of the other alcoholic beverages such as Vodka are typically roleplayed being served in shots, unless bought at a liquor store) that you have in your inventory, in order to equip them as a weapon. In my eyes, this is a great idea, and can help diversify roleplay throughout the server. With sync becoming improved in RageMP's next update, I believe we should have an easily acquirable melee weapon, and this is where the /breakbottle command would come into play. The item / weapon can be seen here: https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Bottle , and I have noticed that the bottle is specifically mentioned in Rule #15 on the in-game rules thread, yet I am yet to come across a broken bottle. Of course, implementing this command would allow many people to acquire melee weapons with ease, and this is why I believe the hit points should be decreased to prevent an overpowered weapon (if possible), but still allow it to have some strength over pure fist fighting, serving as a lesser alternative to the switchblade or knife.
  13. I coincide with your views on random gangsters utilizing radios to "call in their homies!" However, with this being said, I wouldn't like stricter enforcement on radios until alternatives are put in place, such as the ability to hold large group chats via the IC /phone. I would like to think it isn't overly complex to simply add that in, and then make a rule regarding realistic portrayal of the radios, targeting specifically people who use them as if they were groupchats, whilst having no legitimate ties to them (such as being in a company who would supply them, etc).
  14. I largely support this suggestion. I am personally very against anything that comes close to eRP, due to the fact that I believe it is utterly disgusting. I understand some people find pleasure in this sector, and others do it for "shits and giggles" - (their words, not mine), but, I am tired of having 1/10 ads be about a PEEP SHOW! Or something else along the lines of this. Advertisements such as these should be limited to the forums, where the people who want to see this, have to click on the thread and open it. In real life, you NEVER see advertisements for such agencies. When's the last time you were watching your local news channel and a porn agency's advertisement came across the screen? Right. You've likely never seen it happen, and this is why I believe they should be restricted from being allowed in character.
  15. GTA World is a heavy RP server. Heavy RP = writing thorough and comprehensive /me's and /do's ^. The inability to communicate properly in the English language (through text) largely limits this, and there are alternatives to this such as the many voice servers available on the RAGEMP client itself, alongside lower-level roleplay servers. I have seen this standard in a large number of heavy RP servers and it makes perfect sense. Some people claim it is to single out non-native English speakers, but that isn't the case due to the fact that I have personally seen many native English speakers with subpar grammatical skills be removed from similar servers. As people have stated previously, the server markets itself as an English RP server, and honestly, the influx of language-related bans is due to a leniency seen in the application process. I have personally been told by a few people that many applications are being accepted due to GTA 5 being free, with testers facing 200+ applications a day, it is easier to let them onto the server, and give them the opportunity to prove themselves worthy, and if they do not prove themselves worthy/capable of efficiently roleplay, having them removed. This is mainly the only reason language-related bans have been evident on the server, because, in the past, people with obviously in-cohesive language skills would have been denied before having the opportunity to even connect to the server. I personally don't see this discussion going anywhere other than nowhere due to the fact that the reasoning for such bans is obvious on the level of server we play on.
  16. Don't you think a heavy roleplay server feeling like a CNR server should be dealt with OOCly rather than punishing through IC means? If people are driving around cars capable going 100+ easily through the city, and giving no respect to realism, they clearly do not care about their IC stats or anything else, they're just here to cruise around the map at speed. In response to Syrike - that's a great idea, ONLY if this is temporary in speed-string operations, as opposed to being parked by an officer and permanently remaining there. But, this is already available in every police car and willing officers can easily monitor the speed and pull people over for speeding, if the PD concentrated on this, people would establish a fear and feeling of the need to roleplay realistically.
  17. Allowing the police department more leeway with enforcing IC laws through roleplay is the best solution that would help roleplay remain on the server. Yes, some cops overlook speeding, but this occurs in the real world too, and is completely realistic, however, I'm sure nobody would pass by someone going 130 mph and ignore it. If they were to overlook something like this in real life, and the vehicle going 130 mph crashes and kills a family, the officer would be practically holding that family's blood on his hands, no? Perhaps, the PD employing sensitivity training (OOCly to make them stop ignoring things such as people excessively speeding) and being forced to look deeper into roleplay other than responding to calls (i.e. what the traffic division does) would benefit the server greatly. Allowing for things such as the aforementioned scrapping/impounding of cars for extended time periods would also help, as people would learn their lesson and be afraid of losing their vehicles, as they do in real life.
  18. https://www1.nyc.gov/html/dot/downloads/pdf/2014-10-speed-camera-faq.pdf Where are the cameras? The City can only use speed cameras for enforcement within school speed zones. DOT uses fixed and mobile speed camera units within school speed zones to maximize the deterrent effect. When siting a camera, DOT considers criteria including, but not limited to speed data, the roadway geometry, and the crash history of that school speed zone. Speeding cameras are only allowed in school zones in the state of NY, and there are many people arguing that the claim of speeding cameras on Ocean Parkway is fake for this exact same reason (ik ur from new york, but the ppl arguing in the threads below are also from NY). https://www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/topic/778154-speed-cameras-on-ocean-parkway/?page=3 https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS879US879&ei=PBXAXtGFDYGp_QbV8L3YAQ&q=ocean+parkway+brooklyn+speeding+cameras&oq=ocean+parkway+brooklyn+speeding+cameras&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQAzIGCAAQFhAeOgQIABBHOgQIABBDOgIIADoFCCEQoAFQwL4GWNjMBmCTzQZoAnABeACAAa0BiAGxDZIBBDEzLjWYAQCgAQGqAQdnd3Mtd2l6&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwjRk5ig57jpAhWBVN8KHVV4DxsQ4dUDCAw&uact=5 If you can find evidence otherwise, please prove me wrong :) I strongly agree with the implementation of roadway cameras, but this doesn't necessarily relate to fixing UNRP driving that is seen in the server. Despite me constantly repeating the idea that putting speeding cameras in place would take away from the RP of the server, people still argue that it would help take away UNRP drivers, don't you think something that is SOO unrealistic would need to be dealt with by an admin team, instead of punishing by IC means? We have a perfectly competent police force that can police the roads in terms of these things, and if they feel that someone is driving completely unrealistically such as running over every pole on a sidewalk, they can easily /report, alongside everyone else in the community. Cops = IC enforcement. Admins = Realism enforcement. Script? = Dumb and unnecessary. Sure! Speeding cameras are great in cities of millions of people, and when it comes to protecting kids in school zones such as in the state of NY, but, with our server having an average playerbase of what, 400-600 players at peak, and us having at least 1 cop per 10-20 people on each of those times, the players of the server are certainly capable of upholding standards instead of a script doing it for the server.
  19. You can find multiple articles on red light cameras easily, alongside speeding cameras, but speeding cameras are still very rare. States such as Florida are packed full of red light cameras (I can attest to this personally), but it is very hard to find a speeding camera anywhere in the United States. Although, I am not here to argue the legality or realism of having speeding cameras on the server, because after all, San Andreas is an independent state from the rest of the United States' states, thus having the ability to create its own laws, but, I am here to argue the fact that speeding cameras would largely impact roleplay and as I stated previously, make it out to be a RPG server where you have speeding cameras instead of a traffic division in the PD, hmm? Nervous has been constantly working to get rid of RPG aspects such as taking away grinding jobs (i.e mining) to work towards the server possessing the heavy roleplay qualities it deserves, rather than seeming like a Gmod DarkRP server with everything being automated. I don't see your point in stating the fact that there are "vehicles with cameras on top to catch people going above the limit" due to the fact this is already present in cruisers with speed camera radars on GTA:W, alongside everywhere in the United States. Police RP is the main reason I, and many other people within the community would like speeding cameras left OFF of the server due to the fact that, while simple, traffic enforcement such as speeding provides for vast roleplay opportunities for the faction that are not solely felon-criminal related.
  20. Speed cameras are installed by private companies, and this does perfectly work in Europe with most roads being privately-maintained toll roads. However, the concept and logistics of speed cameras in the United States simply does not work, especially in the areas you mentioned (i.e Vinewood). If you're concerned about people driving improperly, we have a perfectly competent IC police force, alongside the fact that, if it gets too out of hand, we have perfectly competent admins who understand realism and can punish people who do not roleplay properly. Alongside speeding cameras not having a realistic place in the United States, the presence of speeding cameras is honestly something you would see on a RPG server of some sort, and has no place on a heavy roleplay server due to the fact that it would take away potential roleplay from the community (i.e the PD)

    Squad

I've been playing alot lately and strapping C4's to DJI Phantom drones is one of the numerous examples that make this game hella fun and immersive, the possibilities this game possesses are endless. Overall, it's great and the GTA:W boys should Squad up some time ? check this out: https://streamable.com/3e0tiy @Late @shareef2
