  1. Short description: I've come up with a few new ideas for scripts for illicit and illegal activities that could potentially add to the roleplay of criminal, and law enforcement roleplay alike. It's not my intent to showcase these ideas as finished products, but simply some suggestions that could simply be looked into and potentially inspire something. Detailed description: - A dark web system with a GTAW dedicated domain system , akin to that of facebrowser ( Or just an IC sub forum on the main forums), but for criminals to access and advertise stolen wares, illegal narcotics, leak access to legal documents, discuss illegal activities, do red rooms, advertise underground events like illegal gambling and fight clubs. (Could even include a bitcoin system eventually for illegal transactions rather than criminals dealing exclusively in. There could be some kind of means by which law enforcement /can/ catch people on there if the roleplayer was sloppy or unrealistic in the manner they accessed the web, and didn't properly secure their IP. You would potentially access this with your opening comment on the forum ( Or a PM to a FM handler) whereby you roleplay how you access the dark web, and if it's sloppy or unrealistic they just pass that information onto law enforcement. - A fraud system whereby certain individuals can apply to illegal FM to become fraudsters. A member of illegal FM could potentially become the contact point for fraudsters, and receive applicants on an application system whereby the individual submits an in depth application, explaining how they intend to illicitly gain funds by fraud, be it credit card fraud, welfare fraud, telemarketing, insurance fraud or otherwise. The member of illegal FM would judge people on a case by case basis, and those who had a stellar pitch and planned to roleplay it fully and well, could potentially double or triple their unemployment (Which is 800 for most people) by the hour. PD could potentially react to this by beginning to monitor bank transactions of suspects, as there is already a system on the UCP whereby you can see bank activity. PD could potentially set up a counter fraud division, but I digress. - A forgery system whereby you can apply for a supplier status to be eligible to create fake licenses and ID's with a minimum of a certain amount a month, potentially allowing criminals or civilians alike to be able to get licenses illegally including driving, flying, pf and ccw. There would need to be a very limited amount of these in circulation, however I do feel like it would add a lot of rp to a suitable candidate and their faction, as this is a massive element of real life organised crime. Felons could have access to things they otherwise wouldn't be able to access, people who roleplay being underage or disqualified from driving could get a driver's license and people could even roleplay obtaining fake medical licenses or the likes if they really felt so inclined. It would add another element of detective work for law enforcement digging out these fake licenses and trying to trace it back to the supplier, meaning roleplay standards of the supplier would have to be high else they'd be crucifying themselves. - A cellular and social media hacking system whereby certain criminals could potentially get access to private messages and information from phones and facebrowser, to A potentially blackmail, or B gain information. I know this is a long shot as police bugs aren't even implemented right now, but it could be something that could be considered for release alongside that legal update. - Call centre scams. ( A little bit of a zany one, but I do know some people who roleplay characters who aren't the brightest, or are vulnerable) So the means to potentially enable this would be to allow people running scams like this to temporarily change their name to avoid metagaming comebacks. I could see some wacky but entirely realistic rp with people setting up illegal call centres to try and scam members of the public, who's cell phone numbers could be passed to these centres by a script. They could potentially be paid hourly by the likes of the unique item script as it's unlikely many people will react, but it would definitely make for some entertaining roleplay scenarios. I for one, get at least one of these sort of calls a week. - Knives available through hardware stores. Honestly, it makes zero sense that they aren't. It's legal to buy them in the state of Cali, which San An is based on, and quite frankly they do the same damage as a hammer/wrench/flashlight which criminals tend to carry anyway, so it's just a little bit more immersive than everybody rolling up with a hammer or wrench. Equally, it's legal within the penal code to carry a knife with a blade under three inches. This will just add a little bit more realism, imo. Commands to add: See above really, not sure what specific commands could be implemented. Items to add: Knives to hardware stores. A few new supplier status based around the ideas above. How would your suggestion improve the server? I think all in all, it's just new avenues of roleplay for criminals on this server that are a little more diverse than the existing systems which can get stale. Modern crime is dominated by white collar and cyber crime, so it would be nice to see this represented on this heavy rp server. Additional information: Again, asking everybody to take this with a pinch of salt, these are just ideas that can easily be switched up, expanded on or trashed totally. Note: Keep it civil, this is a discussion regarding these suggestions, I'll be really disappointed if people use it for a platform to bash other people.

  2. The Varrio Harpys gang (HPS) also known as Harpys 13 or Varrio Harpys, is a predominantly Hispanic street gang operating in the area of Grove street in the Western side of South Central Los Santos city. This group of teenagers have been known to terrorize the city for years now with their turf neighborhood stretching all the way from Chamberlain’s gas station to the cul-de-sac at the end of Grove Street. For these young gangsters the gang lifestyle was their way to put food on the plate for their families. This group soon adopted to the gang-banging lifestyle in it’s fullest, taking advantage of the already increasing crime rate in the city of Los Santos to make a name for themselves. The gang’s main revenue is from the street level distribution of narcotics such as Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin and Methamphetamine. While petty crimes make up the majority of the gang’s criminal activity, the gang is no stranger to much more serious crimes such as grand theft auto, burglary, armed robbery, small scale business racketeering, and even murder. GROVE STREET Grove street, what's often referred to as the heart of the ghetto. This neighborhood has never been a stranger to criminal activity. As a poverty stricken area, the neighborhood has always made the environment perfect for gang recruitment, targeting teenagers who lacked a sense of a larger meaning, making it one of the highest crime rate neighborhoods in the vicinity. With a wide range of crimes taking place ranging from armed theft to homicides, this area has never been the safest place to live. With the broad variety of cultures comes a wider selection of street gangs claiming the streets. Most of these gangs were Afro-American or Hispanic cliques. One of the most notorious Hispanic street gangs to ever operate in the area claimed the name The Ghetto Boyz 27th, previously known as Ghetto Boyz 13 before their feud with the Mexican Mafia which has eventually led to their fallout. “It is always someone getting shot down, or getting shot at, every night is a fight in the ghetto. You could hear bullets all night every night, police sirens all over the place, people getting arrested and bystanders scared out of their goddamn minds! I guess that’s how it goes, there’s always something going down in the ghetto.” - Grove Street resident Isabella Tineo in a Weazel News interview. Throughout the years, Grove Street has been attracting the eyes of the Police Department. With more than ten cruisers driving by on a daily basis it still wasn't enough. The young gangsters always found their own ways to slip through the cracks, creating new methods to continue their operations. These gangsters have showed little hesitation to do what they were asked to protect their groups while breaking the laws and causing trouble to spread terror all across the city on their way to "prove" themselves for which gang they belonged to. With the widespread gang activity starting from the Gas station and finishing just at the cul-de-sac, the street gangs began expanding operations into Chamberlain Hills. It was the time for the Police Department to make a move. A series of Tactical operations led by the Los Santos Police Department took place from the nineties to the early twenties, bringing most gangs defunct with the end goal of stopping many of the dangerous crime organizations from continuing operation in these neighborhoods. Despite all of the tactical operations the Los Santos Police Department has been carrying on, the gangs failed to leave the streets. On each day, teenagers in the area were still inspired to join gangs, finding their own ways to represent the gangs they grew up idolizing and pushing their shot callers agendas on the streets, and often times from inside the prison. This was the birth of a new generation of street gangsters. VARRIO HARPYS 13The roots of the Harpys can be traced back into the early 1960s when a group of teenage immigrants decided to make a name for themselves among the surrounding gangs in the area. The gang took their name from the Harpy Eagle, an animal that symbolizes power. They frequently were seen wearing baseball team Houston Astro's merchandise as the team's logo is a large H. The Harpys unwillingly shared their turf with two other small gangs who were believed to be nothing but two local football clubs under the names of The Dead End and the Wild Bunch at the time. As years passed by the Harpys became more centralized and the gang increased in size, gaining its reputation for violence. During this time the feuds between the two football teams and other football teams in the area were escalating, eventually ending with the rivalries leaving the field. Fights escalated between the two groups starting from low risk brawls, and quickly evolved into stabbings and eventually shootings. The public was quick to realize that the groups were no longer just football clubs and gang units marked both clubs down as their own gangs, noting their rivalries. As Harpys continued to grow and became stronger with each day. During this period, the feud between the two local football clubs and other clubs in the region was turning into a bloodshed, leading in the death of many members from both the Dead End and the Wild Bunch's cliques. The result was for both of the small gangs to emerge into a single, unified Harpys gang in order to strengthen themselves and beef up their numbers. Around the mid seventies, the Varrio Harpys added the number 13 to the end of their name, a representation to a gang's allegiance to the Mexican Mafia, otherwise known as La eMe. On September 6, 1980, three members of 18th Street were shot to death by members of the Harpys, giving birth to a long term war between the two sets. The constant warring consisted of a number of shootings, most of which ended in a death. The beef still stands to this day as a peace hasn't been reached between the two. By the nineties, the Harpys ruled a large part of the ghetto, dominating their turf that stretches from Grove gas station to the cul-de-sac at the end of Grove Street. The gang quickly put themselves on the map as one of the most dangerous gangs in South Central. The gang dominated the drug and weapons trade in the region as well as extorted many of the local businesses. Throughout the years, the Harpys have succeeded to terrorize and extort small businesses in their neighborhoods to put food on their table eventually forcing stores in their neighborhoods to pay taxes so heavy many of them filed bankruptcy. The Harpys were quick to take control of these small markets and stole almost all of the income for themselves. The Harpys increased trafficking and extortion led to their spot on the list of the most dangerous street gangs in South Central during that time. While the gang has continued to dominate the street level distribution of narcotics in their neighborhoods as well as keeping a tight grip on businesses with extortion, a few things set the Harpys different from their neighbors. They were surrounded by other well established street gangs and it was nearly impossible for the Harpys to expand over South Central. Instead of attempting to expand their turf the gang decided to keep a hold of it's current operations and making them as large as possible inside their own jurisdiction to bring in the profit they seeked. By the early two thousands the Los Santos Police Department announced of a widespread series of anti-gang operations all over the city in their attempt to crack down on the street gangs. On December 6, 2012, the Police Department carried out a tactical operation on Grove Street under the moniker Operation Roman Empire, a series of federal RICO indictments focused on connecting the Harpys to the Mexican Mafia. Although still the gang found ways to share it's leader's messages from inside the prison to the streets of Los Santos. The operation has eventually ended with the arrest of twenty nine (29) members of the Harpys who were convicted of multiple charges including possession of firearms, drugs, trafficking, extortion, and even murder. The successful operation led the Gang and Narcotics Division of the Police Department to further investigate the gang which eventually ended with several more arrests, bringing the gang defunct as there remained only few members on the street. Most of these members were young and unable to effectively lead the gang leading in the downfall of the Varrio Harpys. During the absence of the Harpys, Grove street has witnessed the rise of various street gangs. One of the most recent gangs to operate in the area and call Grove street their home was the Ghetto Boyz, previously known as Ghetto Boyz 13 before their feud with the Mexican Mafia. The Ghetto Boyz succeeded in keeping a tight grip on Grove neighborhood, turning into one of the most notorious gangs in the city of Los Santos. The good days were quickly cut short. There are various stories about what happened and why the beef between the Ghetto Boyz and the Mexican Mafia started but throughout all the stories only one thing is consistent, the ending. Some stories say the beef was ignited after a Camarada; An associate of the Mexican Mafia, was shot in Chamberlain during an attack which was carried on by members of the Ghetto Boyz on Tortilla Flats 13 gang. The shooting of the Camarada was said to have led into the fracture between the Ghetto Boyz and the Mexican Mafia. Even days after the attack relations were not improving. On March 6, 2020, an Associate of the Mexican Mafia was killed under mysterious circumstances, the Camarada's body was found was shot to death in a dumpster somewhere outside Los Santos' county lines and the Ghetto Boyz to blame. The Mexican Mafia was bound to retaliate. The Ghetto Boyz were greenlit, meaning they should be killed on sight. This has lead to a series of attacks carried on by multiple sets in the city against the Ghetto Boyz. As the "Boyz" were getting murdered around every corner of South Central, houses were turned into ashes. Eventually bringing Ghetto Boyz out of power. The wipe of the green-lit gang was a chance for other gangs to take over the neighborhood. A group of youths collectively began operating in the area in the aftermath of the GBZ-eMe conflict as they saw an opportunity to reignite the flame of the gang they grew up idolizing. Adam Venegas, a twenty two year-old Hispanic male who was born and raised in Grove street was one of the few Harpys gang members to survive the mass arrests which took place right after Operation Roman Empire. Venegas has noticed the lack of gang presence around the neighborhood of Grove, and saw it an opportunity to re-claim the turf for the Harpys, bringing back the traditional Varrio Harpys lifestyle to its homeland. Along with creating his own circle of influence, Venegas, with the assistance of other Harpys gang members, such as Victor "Puppet" Ordonez and Felipe "Snoozy" Robledo, have succeeded to lure the young teenagers into their lifestyle. The trio would carry operations on their own. They quickly developed and dominated the politics inside the neighborhood while keeping a tight hold of the street level distribution of narcotics such as marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA. The trio was effectively setting up new operations but with the bad was inevitable. The photograph above depicts deceased gang affiliate Felipe Robledo (left) and the current acting shot callers of Grove Street's Dead End Harpys Adam Venegas (center) and Victor Ordonez (right). March 14, 2020, local affiliate Felipe “Snoozy” Robledo’s lifeless body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds after he deviated from his normal route home from Davis Highschool. Robledo was suspected to be buying a half ounce of cocaine when he was spotted by rival gang members who shot multiple times into the 16 year old’s figure. Robledo was declared dead when medics appeared to the scene. TODAY'S HARPYS The Harpys today are considered as one of the fastest growing street gangs in the streets of Los Santos, with multiple members securing their dominance in Grove street. Throughout the years the Harpys have been known to start feuds with other gangs in Los Santos including 18th Street and Easy Riders. Both of these rivalries turned into a long-term beef between the groups. A much smaller feud the Harpys have gotten themselves into was with street gang Sex for Money Krew, mainly due to their alliance with the 18th Street gang. Despite the Harpys gang being tied to the Mexican Mafia, the Harpys frequently beef with other Sureño cliques in South Central Los Santos like the Alley Tiny Criminals 13.

  3. HISTORY The West Side Neighborhood Pirus are an infamous street gang based in Strawberry, Los Santos in the projects of Forum Drive, and some of the surrounding areas. Also known as Neighborhood Piru, this street gang was founded in the early 1990's after the infamous 1992's riots that took place in South Central, Los Santos due to police brutality. The gang started off with three teenagers Caleb Smith, Jeremiah Jarvis, and Maxine Price. All three of them decided to call themselves Roy Piru due to having older Piru family members surrounding them and living on Roy Lowenstein Boulevard while growing up. After the riots left South Central, Los Santos in ruins the teenagers decided to make their own "set" in the infamous Piru gang that was flooding their neighborhood in spite of having enemy rival neighborhoods surrounding them. Later in the years of constant violence in their neighborhood they got affiliated with the orginial Neighborhood Pirus, getting orders to represent their street in their street gang name which brought the name Roy Neighborhood Piru to be born. The street gang eventually moved to the West Side of South Central, Los Santos and started to represent the original name of West Side Neighborhood Piru dividing the street gang into two sets 145th Piru & 151 Piru. PRESENT DAY Now the street gang known as West Side Neighborhood Piru, used to represent Roy Lowenstein Boulevard and the surrounding areas with great force, indulging in drug distribution, drug smuggling, drug usage, weapon dealing, and a lot more in the neighborhoods that are undocumented. Now they do the same around the Strawberry area. Officials claim that the details of who is the leadership in this street gang is unconfirmed, very limited evidence on the street gang, and is now ran by a completely new generation on teenagers that live in the neighborhoods. The street gang considers themselves as "West Side Ps" and a lot of other street terms that are unknown to this day through the public. 145th Piru 145th Piru is a subset within West Side Neighborhood Piru, they are young, ruthless, and deranged due to their surroundings of gang violence and constant poverty in their neighborhood. They are still under command of West Side Neighborhood Piru and will do anything to protect their higher ups in the street gang. They indulge in a lot of illegal activities like distribute drugs, extort, home invasion, robbery, vandalism, and etc to make their presence known around the neighborhoods of Forum Drive & the surrounding areas. This subset is ran by three of the main higher ups in West Side Neighborhood Piru and decided to branch and make 145th Piru, following the foot steps of the previous members that have died in gang violence in the neighborhood. 151 Piru 151 Piru is another subset from West Side Neighborhood Piru. This set is mainly full of drug dealers, pimps, and hustlers. They do small crimes in the area of Forum Drive also like home invasion, robbery, vandalism, and a lot more crimes around the area. The Story of Big Gleeko 2001-2020 Nolan "Big Gleeko" Summers was born and raised in the western areas of Los Santos. His father was a big drug dealer around the Rancho area and barely came to visit Nolan. Him and his mother ended moving in with his father due to his mother losing her job and had to settle for something a lot cheaper. They lived in a one bedroom apartment in the Rancho area. As soon as Nolan turned sixteen he started to hang around with a big homie that goes by the name of Jacoby "Trigga Ru" Miller. Nolan got turned onto the drug game from that point forth and made a name for himself around the Rancho area. He got jumped in later that year by other big homies that were apart of a set called Roy Neighborhood Piru making him involved with "NHP" and the other local blood/piru sets around the area. At the age of nineteen, one day Nolan "Big Gleeko" Summers went on a hit by himself after getting robbed by some local Crips in the Davis area which made him go into a deranged state of mind. He went on a killing spree around Davis & Rancho looking for any Crip affiliates and ended up getting into a high speed chase with the police after getting spotted gunning down a person in the middle of the street. He took them on a thirty minute police chase and local law enforcement decided to disable his car with a couple road blocks, and rams. He was pinned down by the police and surrounded, he loaded up his pistol before hopping out of the car and shooting at every police he saw while he was pinned down. He was riddled with bullets that night by police. He is forever remembered and honored by his Piru affiliates. RIP BIG GLEEKO. Members of Roy Neighborhood Piru Bloods charged with manslaughter - Arrests in Los Santos April 10, 2020, James Evans, Los Santos Times Writer April 10 - The Los Santos Police Department got a call from a resident about four occupants shooting at rival gang members around the area of Brouge Avenue killing three of the rival gang members. 4. For more realistic RP, I was thinking that face wounds, scars, or any other marking from an injury should be implemented into the server as face blemishes or face tattoos if you are role play a tough character or have "scar face type vibes" For instance my character is 16-17 and he is a rugrat in other words he gets into a lot of trouble I want to make him look like he gets into a lot of fights by place a scar onto his face. not sure if it's possible but this would be cool I guess. examples:

  6. The only script jobs should be 24/7’s, gas stations, Liquor stores and tattoo shops. Those are the only jobs where I believe you get quality development for your character WHILE your working. Your actually interacting with other characters and developing relationships.

  11. Hello all, Just as as hobby project I've started collecting historical data for players online GTA:W over time. As of 28/12/2018 I only have around a day and a half of data, but the plan is to run the program continuously. This is more of a curiosity than anything else. If you want to see player count information for yourself you can find it here: https://unhostile.com/playerCount/ - Data is captured every 10 minutes. This uses a public RAGE-MP API and is not affiliated with GTA:W in any way. Here's a screenshot of what it's like so far: I'll be adding a couple extra little features for those interested in the coming days. If you have any suggestions please let me know! Old Version:

  12. Everything in my original post is my opinion. It's not the opinion of any legal faction I'm a member of and I have no interest in speaking on behalf of anybody else. From my point of view, law enforcement can be rigid. A lot of police RPers are very robotic and feel that if they do anything that might be seen as corruption, they'll get removed. I think the PD and SD (a faction I'm a part of) should focus on developing characters, in general. Not so much putting people in jail. I'm not talking shit or pointing fingers but, I've seen these issues firsthand and I can see things from the criminal's point of view. Sometimes, I'm guilty of it. Too busy RPing a faction, not busy enough RPing my character. As legal faction members, OOCly, we have to realize that what we do directly impacts RP on the server, as a whole. We have the ability to put people in jail for IRL days, in some cases, weeks. The least we could do is give them a little space to develop their faction(s) and characters without being around the corner ready to jump every time we hear a gunshot. I'm not saying we shouldn't patrol gang areas and high crime areas IRL are always patrolled frequently but as we all know, illegal RP is pretty centralized in South-Central LS right now. That's not our fault, as cops, but it wouldn't hurt to give these factions a little room to breathe. Again, not pointing fingers, just saying that I think we can all do a little better. Illegal RPers. I feel that a lot of the issues you might have with the legal RPers is that whenever a cop rolls up, it's always "fuck twelve" or whatever. I get that your characters might not like cops but as somebody who was a cop IRL, most of the people I interacted with didn't treat me with the disrespect I see on this server, even if they were going to jail. Most people wanted to be as nice as they could to me so that I'd leave and they could go back to their business. That or they really needed my help. Illegal RPers shouldn't be looking to shoot cops just to get out of a small sentence or a traffic citation and should also stop with the "I'm a legal expert even though I'm a three-time convicted felon and 16 years old" type RP that makes little to no sense. I've been killed twice this week by illegal RPers who, if they'd have just RPed with me, would have been let go. The first killed me, got killed, accepted death and ran off to get another gun with his two day old PF license. The second was a traffic stop where three people got out and killed me, chased the other unit I was with down the road while shooting, killed the other unit, ran off and logged to avoid responding units. This type of RP does nothing to create respect between illegal and legal RPers and these are just two situations I was involved in. Again, this isn't me pointing fingers, it's me trying to voice my concerns and hope that other people who care will help me in bettering the RP for both sides. I truly do care about both sides here. Without good illegal RPers, no point in having cops. Without good cops, no real point for illegal RPers. We need each other and not only that, we need to be able to count on the fact that the person we're RPing with isn't gonna pull some noob shit out of their ass and mess our RP up. Please use this thread to post suggestions on how to better both sides. Please make sure that your suggestions are fair, respectful and address real issues. This thread is not a place to argue. People should list their point of view, support it with evidence if possible and allow others to respond in kind. Please try to avoid repetitive discussion when it's clear the other person has no intention of changing their opinion. Hopefully community leadership can use this thread for ideas on how to better the situation for everybody.

I think it'd be cool to see some in game statistics, such as - how much does the wealthiest person have (no need to specify who he is), which car is the most bought, how many cars left are there total, how many guns of type are still there existing, drugs, player with biggest play time, etc. What do you think?

  18. Bullshit. These are systems implemented by people who don't really model their economic decisions. Fact: Grinding RPG jobs take you away from the RP. Fact: Nobody grinds the jobs because they want to. You should keep sidejobs around as an avenue for people to have optional income when they need extra money, but don't make people dependent on using these jobs to roleplay. Give people disposable income that they don't have to grind for via higher paychecks, and focus on a player service economy and not a scripted RPG minigame economy. More disposable income, less grinding would increase demands for more player service jobs and more roleplay. If your economy on a roleplay server isn't supporting roleplay but instead taking people away from the roleplay. You're doing something wrong.

  19. We also have to deal with an incredible amount of scrutiny over everything we do while PD doesn't face NEARLY as much backlash because they are an "Essential" faction. If I break in to a house and fuck up somehow (Accidently MG, etc), I'm getting banned, if PD breaks into a house without a warrant or probably cause? That's an IC issue Which is complete bullshit because 1. We can only sue the LSPD for an OOCly restricted amount of money, 2. These are mistakes that should and would get someone severely reprimanded or in a lot of cases kicked entirely off the force. How does one half of the server get slapped across the face anytime it fucks up yet the other half doesn't even get a slap on the wrist? At least from the rest of the communities POV. I'm not even gonna dive into the fact that there are judges (Who are supposed to be impartial) Who have LEO characters and are in LEO factions, something I see as and seems to be an pretty apparent lapse in judgement.
