I don't mind it.  You are going there knowing that "I will propably lose all my savings tonight"  $500 and $1500 is nothing.

Terrible idea. The entrance fee is a must simply to support the business and keep it running. Hosting a Poker table does not generate any money for a casino. Blackjack dealing is a coin flip.

You need to pay employees, guards and dealers. If a casino is left with only collecting the 40k from business scripts and relying on Blackjack, it becomes simply un-sustainable as a business, you lose a few days dealing on blackjack and  its over.

Now realistically casinos take a percentage from the poker pots ,they have various games etc. Since that can not be implemented due to script limitations , the fees are a must.

Also, this is a completely IC decision to charge them too. If you want to complain about it being ooc then we should add poker pot rakes so casinos can actually function like they are meant to IRL.

Imposing realistic standards should only be done when the server and script can actually support that kind of rp . I get where people are coming from but logically speaking ,from the tools we have to work with, removing entrance fees is just a dumb decision.

Hyper realism is not always fun and does not always fit the server.

This can be said about so many businesses. I work at a bar ic, we profit $20 a drink and get no bonus for people walking in. I am not complaining because it’s the rp that counts, not the profit. Player ran clothing stores, places to eat, and so on but they all survive without much profit and no entry.

As someone who also lives in Las Vegas, I absolutely agree. +1

I've lived here my entire life and I have never ever walked into a Casino before where they asked for a fee to enter. It's completely unrealistic and it doesn't happen. Even in Vegas where it's a literal gambling paradise city.
