  1. Hell yeah when it comes to European brands. SAAB destroys Audi, BMW, Mercedes and VW of the same years in reliability. Even though they are known as being "quirky" or weird, they're actually pretty simple under the hood. Easy to work on.
  2. The E39 is legitimately one of the best looking wagons of all time to me. It has the most perfect proportions ever. Inside and out, it's just a pure masterpiece. It's peak BMW soul. Modern day BMWs aren't even 1/10th of the quality that this car was.
  3. My 2007 SAAB 9-5 Estate. Bought it 3 years ago with 122000km on the odometer, today it has 216000. Drove it all across Europe/Russia. It has been an absolute blast blast. It never failed me. Extremely comfortable car and pulls like crazy in 3rd gear even though it's "only" 260hp.
  4. Lmao for real. I spent last evening playing coming across these fine specimens going from one open bar to the other. All over Los Santos. Instigating trouble and whatnot. Their characters are supposed to be gangsters in poverty out of Davis. Heavy RP server my ass bruh
  5. Ah yes basic human rights like workers rights for example? Mandatory paid time off/vacations? What about the ability to go to a hospital or clinic without paying thousands? And topping the "Top x happiest countries" statistics every few years? Oh wait lol.. Please let's not go into this subject it will derail the thread completely. It's completely besides the point. Americans on here acting like they're the only ones with street gangs and people in sheistys. As if their culture is incomprehensible to the very people that created their nation and colonized the Americas. You're not convincing anyone. All of this can be googled and checked in 5 minutes that people in the US don't go around wearing this shit on the regular.
  6. Stop acting like you are in another universe, there is almost nothing too different in the US when compared to western Europe. You aren't special and everything you call "gang culture" or "american culture" can be googled and learned in 5 minutes lol.
  7. The guy behind the business applications is actually Andrew Tate. The reason why he's denying everybody businesses IG is because he thinks you should go out instead and create a business irl. Real (i have sources but do not PM about it)
  8. I already wrote above this should be handled ICly and not OOCly. I simply specified that the people wearing this fashion item are typically the lowest quality RPers anyway. And typically the kind to try reenacting Mogadishu in the 2000s. No decent illegal RPer will be masking his face casually like that.
  9. We already know what kind of "roleplayers" wear them around in public and the quality of their RP. You're not convincing nobody lol.
  10. It should be handled IC, not OOC. By laws and the authority. If you wear one around I'm just going to assume you're a bottom tier RPer. There really isn't anything else to it. Nobody who actually RPs in any decent circles wears that shit around and thinks it's normal lmao.
  11. I also read this and I wish more people did. A majority of players RPing in the hoods take everything OOC. So there's no realism. They're all like 16yo street soldiers without any feelings or nothing.
  12. As mentioned above by Socrates. There's a big issue with people from Los Santos just buying property up in the County. In some situations and places, it might make sense. But not really in the Grand Senora Desert/Sandy Shores. It is a low class, poor, run down and forgotten area. Makes no sense for these people to buy trailers and homes up here. It's failRP imo and I think admins should start investigating a bit more. It's like somebody from Mirror Park/Vinewood buying a home down in Davis. The suggestion is, I would say (as a county RPer) almost necessary. We need new homes, and not just trailers but actual houses. Of course, nothing Vinewood-style. But none the less houses. There's too many abandoned properties in the area that the mapping team could have fun with. The old rundown motel could be turned into an actual, working motel or apartment housing.
  13. Can't wait for all the mirror park ""roleplayers"" to get butthurt at a street gang operating in the area lmao. Best of luck, I will be tracking it.
  14. What an absolutely ignorant post. Trucking is really not all that profitable, it depends entirely what you're doing. You have to be in a company and a fleet to make any decent money. And even then, it's a grindy mess to even access an actual truck. So it's not fun for you, okay, then stay out of it. It's fun for many of us. And not all of us are pedal to the metal 24/7 and working 24/7. For me it's a part time job, a side job. I rp out in the county, and when there's lack of RP. I'll go on shift and find it there. A lot of people, such as me enjoy script jobs. For me, it's fun. And half of the work isn't even the deliveries but the RP around the HQ and with other truckers. I certainly have not become rich by trucking in-game. But yes, you can grind it. You can also grind any other script job. Script jobs are always going to be grinded by grinders. The problem isn't the jobs but the mentality of those people.
  15. Yep, I always enjoyed trucking ever since LSRP. Recently got on board as a part time delivery/trucker on one character. And it's awful. I took a few routes to some garage in Davis that required 20 crates. I shit you not there were 5 trucks/vans there waiting to unload in a queue. And this continued through the evening everywhere.. The routes disappear instantly. And then there's nothing. Same for Taxi drivers. There's essentially no work for them either.
  16. Solid and proper RP amongst these guys.
  17. Yeah immersion ruined. I hate when city characters come up to Sandy or Paleto when a biker/country bar opens up. It makes literally no sense.
  18. I understand what you mean. But the server is already saturated to hell with young characters. If we go and do it like this, it is going to take ages to have an aging population. Add to the fact that it is impossible for players like me who don't play 8 hours a day or some shit. I got a wife, full time job and a plethora of other hobbies. Play a few hours a week. By the time my 20 yo is 40 I'll be retired IRL or the server will have died. The bottom line is that people are RPing young people. And I understand, because they themselves are in their 20s (I'm 26). It's more difficult to RP an older character. More limitations. A problem arises. The youngsters don't know how to RP with older folks. They don't want them around in clubs, groups, or even gangs. Even though this makes 0 sense. Take a look at the current "gang" meta. If you aren't 15 - 16 yo. The chance you're getting into a gang is none. Even though this is complete bullshit IRL.
  19. "Character backstory" is a total meme. Not every character needs an extensive backstory. Character development is far more important. Playing minor characters in gangs should mean you piss yourself in fear up against a 30yo. Not act like a fucking MMA superstar. CK requirements need to be lowered. There needs to be more risk involved with shootouts and that kind of lifestyle. Upon CK, all assets should be seized. Money, property, everything you own. New character, new start.
