  1. because traffic lights aren't synced and haven't been for months
  2. so it's like a furry convention but worse
  3. Obviously depends on the scenario but yes.
  4. Because it’s easier to RP hard and emotionless than it is to RP emotions. Don’t forget GTA:W is set in a city in which no sane person would live since it’s practically a warzone with a crime rate that would have martial law declared permanently, so there has to be some sort of compromise to RP’ing emotions when your character comes across the millionth dead teenager of the day.
  5. /fixveh does infact TP your car to you instantly. I think this change is pretty straight-forward. You could go further in this and restrict /fixveh to shortly after the vehicle is spawned.
  6. 70+ almost everywhere except Charlestown where it drops to like 20 lmao Before the Vsync "fix" it was a lot lower though... there's also a thing in the works by a fellow LSPD faction member that - for the most part - eliminates short-distance texture loss which I'm sure will be released to the general public once it's fully finished
  7. It's a good idea but don't forget this is GTA:W and people will have 500 cleaning cloths in their inventory 24/7 with a bind to clean off their guns OR walk around with gloves 24/7. If that can somehow be remedied, then yeah.
  8. i dont dare to talk to 12 year olds anymore irl incase they pull a rifle from their pants and kill me
  9. Traffic lights aren't synced at the moment. Well, sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't... as a LEO RP'er I never really pull people over for red light violations anymore unless they fly through 3 intersections without even slowing down until RAGE devs verify it's fixed. OT: Yeah, please.
  10. Yes! This should extend to the whole server though, making different level vests (with every level having different levels of protection) available to players through specific means (the higher the level, the harder to get). Plate carriers or external armor vests should also be made illegal IC’ly to balance things out.
  11. Agreed, but it's more of a balance thing IMO. I think there's very little people in real life who have the ability to land a headshot (considering it's quite a small target) in a high-stress situation such as a shootout, while in this game it's very easy. Making it so you need two headshots to go down makes it a little more balanced as opposed to ending a gunfight within a second if you hit a headshot. EDIT: There's scenarios like a close-up shotgun blast to the face or execution where this doesn't apply. I'm talking about headshots during an active shootout.
  12. I don't really agree with the "instantly die" thing. Yes, to some extent it's realistic but at the end of the day it's still a game, a headshot does over 50 damage so either way it only requires two shots which balances it out a bit. What I definitely agree with is entering the "death" state if you get downed with a headshot, which only makes sense.
  13. While initially I agreed with nerfing /panic, reading the arguments here I’ll change that opinion. The panic command has indeed never really saved someone, and considering the restrictions around its usage and the requirement for it to be properly roleplayed I think it’s far from overpowered.

    GTA:W Hours played

After one full year. Got better things to do as well ;).
  15. I doubt it is. It doesn't make a lot of sense, as the roleplay is required to give other parties the chance to react. If they're already shooting at you, that goes out the window.
  16. That or the license plate, yeah.
  17. I'm pretty sure police can unimpound a vehicle manually, so if the court rules that the fine (and thus impounding) were unjustified you can always call the LSPD's non-emergency line and ask for the vehicle to be released. Otherwise I think this should stay as it's a good way to enforce fines (which is already hard to do in a game setting).
  18. Yeah, IC’ly it’s a great idea, OOC’ly not so much.
