I completely agree with the suggestion. Especially for the fishing part. I know it might take a while before a new script is done, but I am willing to wait, because what is the point of having this vast space of water and not use it properly. In the end this would encourage more people to RP out at sea and who knows maybe more and more fishing companies would pop up which would surely be beneficial for a wider array of individuals - think about Seafood restaurants and venues, their customers and etc.

I also support this since it can be really disruptive during Shark related scenes and not just from Lifeguards POV. It's also from the POV of the rest of the Fire Department, it can be disruptive for additional agencies that provide a form of maritime response. One time we had a very interesting call about an aircraft in the water. But the constant shark spawning made the RP very difficult and that is the case with most of the times someone makes an attempt to transfer RP into the deeper water parts of the map. As already stated in the suggestion sharks aren't that vicius creatures that will literally chomp you out the mere second you step foot into their territory like the vanilla script. Yeah, they might bite, which can be really dangerous alone, but it doesn't necessarily lead to death straight away.

Big up for this. Currently the LSFD's Lifeguards Division is developing their own boating operation similar to the IRL version of LA County Lifeguards Baywatch. What does that mean? Whenever there is a vessel in distress at sea we are going to be able to respond adequately. Why did we develop this? Well, we've noticed that people tend to sometimes RP boat fires even though it's rare, people also tend to RP needing help in the sea even though again, it's rare. I think that introducing this Marine Radio similar to the ATC will show people that they can freely RP distressing situations while they are out and about boating or yachting. Many people on the server do that and I believe that with such change maritime RP would be more encouraged. Of course I ask if it's possible that should this be introduced FD's boats should automaticallly be connected to it. Currently they have two Fire Boats and can be pretty good if this is carried out.
