  1. Does anyone here have any evidence of this rule being abused AFTER implementation? Very curious to see it as I've not seen a change in behavior at all after the rule implementation. It also seems like people are unaware of the fact it says PETTY CRIMES. If someone snitches on you after you murder someone I believe it's still a valid reason to kill them. Right now it feels like a case of the boy who cried wolf, until some evidence is presented this rule is actively being abused.
  2. If you want to kill someone and escalate a 911 call over a PETTY CRIME to a felony and a potential life in prison charge you need to reconsider your attitude in an admin jail for a good couple of minutes. If someone watches you murder a man in cold blood and then tries to snitch on you? By all means, increase your serial killer gangbanger body count and make it body number 17.
  3. Nobody's forcing you to report anything, if you're okay being riddled by assault rifles because you pulled someone over who forgot to stop at a traffic light just don't report and roleplay the scenario out. Leave the rule as it is for the people who don't want to respawn because they want to give someone a simple citation. Just because it happens IRL isn't a valid excuse, mass shooting happen too and we don't roleplay them here for obvious reasons. -1
  4. Petty complaining about things that has little to no impact on people is one of the reasons genuine concerns are taken with a grain of salt and never get solved.
  5. Mentioned I replied for the last time but it seems I have to reply again due to multiple PM's. Some of you might not know me but I've always... ALWAYS roleplayed illegal and still do to this day. And even myself as an illegal rper think the random public robberies are outrageous and way too frequent. Some of you need to get more creative, you can use robberies as a service to the community too. Instead of always hitting random people who are minding their own business, do what I do. Make fake FUTA profiles on Quickdate and lure weird ERPers over to apartments, rob them one by one until you've got a group of people tied up in the apartment. Snap pictures of them and their ID's, collect blackmail money every week to avoid making it public that they like to get smashed by fantasy dom futa characters. This way your character is making money, you're robbing people and you're doing the entire community a HUGE favor by targeting weirdos who use fantasy futa character and generally people who abuse this server for sexual deviancy. Just stop targeting my armed-in-uniform guards at a security company with CCTV cameras around and everything.
  6. They camp our faction garage, are you proposing my employees don't walk up to our faction garage anymore to withdraw a vehicle? I get you're trying to make it seem like a skill issue, once again. But there's little you can do against 4man robbery teams when you just walk up to your faction garage to pull a vehicle to start your day of patrolling. You shoot back or run, you will die and risk a CK. I'm going to stop replying to this thread now as I can already see the direction this is going; Inb4 skill issue inb4 we're noobs inb4 be aware of surroundings Bla bla bla.
  7. I don't know what the solution is, I asked for help from admins/LFM and received none. Apparently it's being "discussed" in backrooms now and I've not been given any feed back. For now, I'll take it ICly and you can expect unrealistic measures to be taken in response to unrealistic robberies. There are going to be a lot of dead bodies around our HQ soon, fight fire with fire. I don't lack the experience of full-blown warfare on roleplay servers, if that's what this community is about and this is what it wants? I'll gladly give that to y'all.
  8. Heya, this happened 3x this week. Not just once. I've got employees who ran out of their monthly allowance of firearms due to them either waiting pending for forum reports to be resolved to get their weapons refunded. Or simply because they been robbed too much around our HQ through "allowed" means. I'm sorry but if a security company becomes a piggy bank for PF weapons and its employees can't even get new weapons to protect themselves or clients? You know there's something wrong. It is also not an empty parking lot, this parking lot is attached to our headquarters. It has CCTV around and signs indicating it is owned by our company and it also indicates there are cameras around. Our faction garage is here, my employees have to go there to withdraw vehicles from the garage. I don't know what to tell you, do you want me to put our faction garage in the middle of the road to avoid robberies? I have no reason to sit here and lie to y'all and make shit up, most people know that I've always roleplayed illegal and plenty of people know me for many years. I have no reason to deceive any of you. Civilian robberies aside, robbing armed gunmen is just absolutely crazy and astonishing.
  9. I agree with you, people legit just camp our headquarters to rob armed guards because they know they can get free weapons. The problem is, these robbers are the same ones that go around targeting random civilians every other day. Everyone here thinks THEIR roleplay is unique, and when they go our robbing with their friends? They the only one doing this. But the reality is, you've got a TON of groups going around scouting the same tiny map. It's pretty much the same argument people use for the LEO helicopters. The LEO helicopters are too OP to have around as much due to the size of the map. The amount of robbery teams active at any given time are also way too much for our tiny little map. Civilian, even if not "aware of their surroundings" should statistically seeing not be victim of a robbery as much as it happens right now. It's just unfair and completely against he harmony a roleplay server should be. Lets not forget this is a ROLEPLAY server, not a crime simulator.
  10. Not gonna show the chat as it shows our radio frequency and its none of your business. This was seconds after my employees withdrew a vehicle from the faction garage. They literally camp around.
  11. Hey friend, I own one of said companies you mentioned. They rob armed security guards who open carry and in uniform in and around our HQ. Don't really know what to tell you, being armed, having CCTV's and pretty much any other preventive measure isn't enough to scare off 4man navy seal robbery teams. I don't really know how you expect us to not be lacking. Winning a 2vs4 isn't for everyone, we're on a roleplay server and not everyone here is a Global Elite on CS:GO. And if you expect security companies to start rolling around in 4man SWAT-like groups to combat the issue? I'll happily do that, but I'll just be the one to suffer the consequences when LFM or RPQM shows up telling us what we're doing is unrealistic because we're responding ICly in an appropriate way to the absolute insane boldness of criminals and the absolute insane frequency of these sorts of crimes. Appreciate the input though.
  12. Dealt with 6 robberies in the last week in some type of capacity, most if not all through rule break so they got voided. Fun fun fun, gotta love the fun.
  13. Living in one of these neighborhoods doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, speaking from experience. My character lives in Vespucci and instead of avoiding it or thinking its a warzone or whatever? My character made himself familiar with the locals, "befriended" them somewhat. They know him well enough now to identify him as a "fellow local" and leave him be. This could be a very positive thing to your character actually. I don't ever have to worry about robberies since the locals wouldn't allow outsiders to rob people in their turf and they're not going to shit in their own bed. Never had any troubles in Vespucci due to that, 10x safer to live there than out in Vinewood Hills or Rockford. The fact there's actual population makes it the most crime-free zone for most people if you're not actively engaging in hostile roleplay yourself.
  14. This looks great and I'd love to see it but I'm not sure if it'll ever come considering the fact we need way more massive law enforcement buildings in Los Santos. Because you know... They don't have enough yet.
  15. This is something that has happened for years, ranging back from LSRP where this was extremely common practice. While it is a little bit of silly trend, someone else in the thread worded it pretty accurately. Why would you sell your shit for $$$, that $$$$ will not generate any roleplay and for most criminal roleplayers the money is unimportant as money has absolutely no roleplay value, especially if you're responsible for a faction or a group of people within a faction. Trading it for other substances which you can dish out to your faction members just keeps the flow of roleplay going. Is this a bit of a problem? Sure it is but I personally don't really see much of a solution for it, it's a very delicate and complicated situation and I completely understand both sides. If you don't have drugs/weapons already it can be very difficult to find someone to plug you in large quantities, on the other hand as previously mentioned money has lost its value especially in the illegal scene. I'm very interested to see suggestions from people on how to potentially combat this or provide alternatives rather than restrictions or rules.
  16. Can't wait for the government to take the concerns IC with some kind of law proposal just for IFM/LFM to step in and completely numb the entire thing down if it hasn't already been veto'd by then. It's GTA:World, IC is not simply IC unfortunately. There will always be people with green name tags who proclaim to know better and will force their will upon you, this counts both for the legal and the illegal side and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of you can speak from experience yourself when it comes to this.
  17. This is literally what I said, it gives our law makers something to RP about. Communties to get angry about, etc. But it does HAVE to be addressed, it can't go ignored that's what I've been trying to say.
  18. Brother, if you read my previous responses I was one of the first ones who said I would like an IC response to the problem, not an OOC one.
  19. Can't have a normal discussion here, enjoy the W gentlemen. You deserve it.
  20. You're loud and 28percent as opposed to 72percent is indeed a minority. Unless my math is off.
  21. And this right here is the problem, it seems to be a trend in the world right now in general and is not only restricted to GTA:W. Where a small and loud minority tries to force their morals, values and opinions on the quiet majority.
  22. A lot of disingenuous arguments being made here despite the poll results being crystal clear what the majority feels like. Got people attacking each other on a personal level and shit, kinda sad to see this coming from adults on a forum for a virtual world. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and you should respect it, if the majority of the players share a certain opinion you should respect the democratic process as its the foundation for most of our societies and thus should also be the reasonable foundation for this server as the players make the server. Without these players, no server. Some players really need to grow up and not let their emotions get the better of them.
  23. Can we get an update from staff? Only 28percent of the people who voted on the poll thinks this should go unchecked. I feel like this is one of those issues where a lack of decision making exacerbates the problem for most players.

    Crash spots back?

Crashed here and then every single time I logged in, it crashed me again. Up until the 5th relog, it suddenly didn't crash me anymore and I was free to leave crash prison.
