  5. Short description: This suggestion is being raised to bring to everyone’s attention the need to revamp or somehow add new features to the current 24/7 script. Most of the time, players seek for items that, in a IRL perspective would be available for sale on a 24/7, however are not in-game. I would like to suggest a feature where more items could be added to these stores, such as groceries, some alcohol, and a few cigarette packs. Detailed description: As everyone may have noticed at this point, the current 24/7 stores do not have the day-to-day items that would be available to them in a IRL perspective. These stores are lacking most of the items and it gets to a point where only few people will come across them to buy items. The only apparent reason for these stores to be even used at the moment is to buy things such as “boombox’s(????)”, cameras or maybe some ties. There’s little to no usage for most of the other items and I believe we could add a few more useful items that would call someone to visit a store more often. Oftentimes people also ask for, eg: cigarettes, that are nowhere available or even booze. Fair enough, we have two separate stores for each of these, but, we could make it so there’s still an advantage from buying these from these two stores instead of a 24/7. If we look at most of the 24/7 interiors, we can notice how countless fridges are mapped in there with all kinds of booze and even a full display of tobacco… Sometimes it’s weird to try and explain to someone how these… Aren’t just there. All in all, this suggestion was to create some sort of mechanism that would allow 24/7’s store to get a wider variety of items that could be bought from the script. As exemplified above: Alcohol, Tobacco, Magazines (?), different sorts of soda, etc. Commands to add: Add these items to the current 24/7 script, however make them more expensive than the stores that should be selling off these goods. Items to add: Fruits, more sodas, some alcohol options, cigarettes, magazines, newspaper and everyday groceries. How would your suggestion improve the server? I believe that this suggestion would just come to offer more roleplay participants and more wider variety of items that could be chosen from from a 24/7 store. Additional information: N/A

  6. CENSUS RESULTS & INFORMATION ILLEGAL FACTION MANAGEMENT Beginning of census: July 15 2021 End of census: July 25 2021 In order to prepare for the amount of applications we were expecting to receive as part of the supplier program, IFM put together a census to gather information about where the illegal community is at with the current economics of the illegal flow on the server. This thread will be split into 3 parts. We have tried to keep this as concise and accurate to the information we were given. This thread is an informative reference. PART 1 — THE STATISTICAL RESULTS DRUGS WEAPONS PART 2 — THE WRITTEN RESULTS In total, out of 224 submissions, 146 had a written response for a total of 11,358 words. While the importance of this is absolutely 0 in regards to the census' goal, it's to help understand that while all responses were read, we may not have specified it within this section due to similarities to others, duplications, or just not fit for the thread. Some of these will include notes from IFM where able to, some of them will be covered in part 3. Text from IFM will be in green, the majority will be covered in part 3. This will include suggestions and general comments, feel free to discuss these suggestions under this thread. [Suggestion/Feedback] — Suppliers should be more than just spawns and drops, there should be roleplay about these. They need to be roleplaying smuggling, their positions are so easily abused. - We are currently aware of this issue, as of 2 weeks ago, we began collecting supplier stories again and have been slowly creating the roleplay around the drops rather than instant spawns. There are so few of us that timezones don't always match up, but it is happening where possible. [Suggestion] — "I believe that we should resort to the single-auto locked rifle system and have weapon techs be able to 'unlock' these weapons. Everybody and their grandmother having full automatic submachine guns and rifles is just silly and ruins immersion." [Feedback] — Factions that deal heavily with drugs, deal with the same types. They then find it easier to get a hold of SMGs rather than low caliber weapons such as pistols which is what they want. [Feedback] — Do more to remove the OOC dealing market. - This was pretty much in every other response, we're going to be heavily trying to work on removing this culture. "I feel like a small group of suppliers have concentrated their power at the top and have wielded their positions to scare the community away from any suggestions that might loosen their control on the market. The changes that need to be made would cause massive price drops and major ripple effects on the server that I feel are ultimately necessary for the servers future success." The market is currently a monopoly (guns). [Feedback] — Larger weapons should become more of a scarcity due to the degree of oversaturation. [Feedback] — Gangs currently have more SMGs and rifle calibers than low level pistols and use these instead actively for minor firefights. [Feedback] — Marijuana "When it comes to drugs I personally feel there is not much to complain about. One thing that irks me however is marijuana. This is THE most widely used drug in North America, whether we like it or not. Prices on the West Coast of America are INCREDIBLY low in order to combat legal marijuana. Anybody and everybody can find seeds in real life and start a grow, which leads to my next point. I feel inflating the marijuana scene beyond control is a harmless yet important act of business. Flood the market with seeds and copious amounts of marijuana, causing for a competitive market. If the price drops to 100 a gram, even 60 or below? So be it. We’re looking at a drug that costs $10 in real life selling for just under the price of cocaine in game, whereas cocaine in real life is closer to $80 a gram, even $100 in some cases. That’s at least 80x the price. It doesn’t make much sense, roleplay or not." [Suggestion] — Act as IFM in order to inflate the market for pistols and low weapons. [Suggestion] — "My 'take' on guns and drugs is less focused on the scripts themselves, and more-so the people distributing/using them. From the perspective of an LEO role player, specifically a gang investigator in OSS, the general quality of gangs on the server is at an all time low. To even call some of the members of these gangs 'role players' is a stretch, as they are either blatant self-inserts or just created to DM. Unofficial factions are completely unmoderated and given 200 'second chances' after seriously terrible roleplay and DM. It demotivates not only the LEOs that are meant to roleplay with them, but also other gang roleplayers that put in actual effort. As long as these unofficial factions are allowed to run rampant and do as they please, it does not matter how expensive the scripts are, or how available they are in the market. They will be abused for the sole purpose of DMs; guns to kill and drugs to make it harder to kill, without any meaningful roleplay around the acquisition or sale of either." - We don't have a direct comment for this, but it seems to be one of the few LEO/Legal perspectives that we received and wanted to share that. [Suggestion] — "We need some suppliers to be factionless to help reduce the circle of friends when it comes to gun supplies. Make pistols really cheap but keep some exotic full autos harder to get. Sniper rifles should be easier to get than a full auto. Semi automatic weapons should make around 90% of all weapons." [Suggestion] — "Make knives and switchblades available in hardware stores with a minimum of 100 hours of playtime. Knife robberies always had higher quality roleplay than the regular aiming a gun and /b showitems." [Feedback] — There is so many shootouts right now because people have some form of automatic weapon on them, they shoot due to wanting to keep it rather than roleplay reasons/fear. [Suggestion] — "In my opinion IFM should make a small team of REGULAR players (who can apply on the forums or on the ucp) to help judge factions based on their quality and give their recommendation for supplier status, as IFM is a small team and there's alot of people who'd be more than willing to help." - This is something that already exists, the "IFM Council", we are working on revamping it so we don't have much information about applications or access to joining until it has been revamped into a stronger group. This has been spoken about by Bospy in his previous threads. PART 3 — THE RESPONSE FROM IFM Firstly, I want to start by just thanking everyone who took the time to give their piece as part of the census, we are a small team and we are trying to go through as much of this feedback as possible but we will not always be able to create bridges without taking time to build the scaffolding and structure to begin that process. Many of the concerns brought forwards, through the direct statistics as well as the feedback and be broken simply down into there being a much higher demand than there is supply. This also ties into there being a majority of participants in this census speaking on there being OOC favoritism where it comes to supply and a monopoly around this. Despite there being an overwhelming amount of feedback about the above issue, we were provided with very few suggestions on how to combat this. We are not magicians and we cannot promise we can remove this issue, but we can start knuckling down and taking more severe action in order to ensure that this issue does not continue to grow. So what is being done? This census was done before we have opened major small supplier routes, this means this data has been collected before the first action in our itinerary has been conducted. Please take this into consideration, the first step to try and rectify this has already been taken. I also want to directly quote what Bospy stated upon his reign over IFM: "Historically, supplier has been abused by people arranging OOC deals. I will say outright I have a zero tolerance policy for our suppliers breaking any rules. From hereon, any violation of rules, up to an including an ajail, will result in a loss of the supplier status. This is a very important and critical role for the server. A supplier wields massive power in who they choose to sell to and who they associate with. Suppliers must set a positive example for the server." from this thread. This is something that we did get a lot of feedback about, there will be no exceptions. This is a policy we plan on enforcing and if anything manages to slip under the radar, please bring it to us A-S-A-P. We are also going to be working with Nervous directly and the development team to monitor these suppliers, there are regulations that they are all held to. Our exact plan of action for this is somewhat 'curtained', the reason for this is because knowing the internals of how we will be monitoring this may be abused and/or may promote work-arounds to be figured out. This is something that will remain within IFM solely, and not be shared inside or outside of the team to absolutely ensure its effectivity. This is a work in progress as we begin combatting these issues. What about minor suppliers? I have had many a messages about the recent supplier applications, "when does melee open?!", "when does electronics open!?", "when will I get a response on my application?!". Melee is due to open once we have processed all the new major applications that will be coming in, and seen how this impacts the economy, the illegal community as well as if law enforcement is able to combat this. Roughly late August to early September. Electronics is something we do not want to flood the server with, but we will not be gate-keeping either. We recently have had a few openings for this position so this will open once we have handled all of the major applications, this will not wait for impacts but be rather soon after. Roughly mid-to-late August. Everyone who applied for weapon specialist or tobacco supplier has received a response now. If you didn't receive a response, you were not accepted. THE RESPONSE FROM BOSPY (Head of Illegal Faction Management) "This census was an excellent step in determining what kind of suppliers we need right now and what is important to the illegal community. I foresee many anonymous surveys like this moving forward to ensure your input is being heard and we can have a more equitable system within the illegal faction community. One of the huge issues mentioned time and time again in these anonymous responses was the feeling that certain items or types of suppliers are hoarding their goods and supplying it only to their friends. These are not realistic criminal networks. I won't sugarcoat it - it's an open secret that some weapon suppliers have wielded their status for OOC gain. This will not be permitted moving forward and it won't happen under my watch. We are keeping a very close eye on all of our weapon suppliers and intend to encourage them to be active on their supplier characters. Our plan is to ensure the market is saturated by firearms from people who are just there to roleplay and keep things IC. We will be cautious not to flood the market. Our plan is to be conservative, but to ensure the guns are going to the right hands of people that would realistically have them. Our intention is to make the minor supplier roles powerful in their own ways as well. I want to have electronics and tobacco suppliers be something useful. I've been debating adding certain kinds of "specialist" roles beyond just weapon specialists. In general, this supplier wave should give us a good spark to the illegal community. A more equitable gun market, more specialists, and more unique drugs flowing. Some drugs almost don't even exist in-character yet! This isn't a good look, and we want to flood the server with drugs to reflect the real-life black market networks."

  7. History By the 1970's, there were 45 Crips gangs, called sets, operating in Los Santos. They were heavily involved in the production of PCP, marijuana and amphetamines. On March 11, 1979, Douglas "Babyface" Boyd, a member of the Westside Crips, was arrested for four murders and on August 8, 1979, Melvin "Tic-Tac" Thomas was gunned down. Thomas had been against Crip infighting and after his death several Crip sets started fighting against each other. The Crips leadership was dismantled prompting a deadly gang war between the Rollin' 60 Neighborhood Crips and Eight Tray Gangster Crips which began causing nearby Crip sets to choose sides and align themselves with either the Gangster Crips or Neighborhood Crips waging an all out war in South Central Los Santos and other cities. The East Coast Crips and the Hoover Crips directly severed their alliance after Thomas's death. By 1980, the Crips were in turmoil, warring with the Bloods and against each other. The growth and power of the gang really took off in the early 1980s when crack cocaine hit the streets. In the early 1980s, Crips sets began distributing crack cocaine in Los Santos. The huge profits from distribution of crack cocaine induced many Crips to establish new markets in other cities and states. As a result, Crip membership grew steadily and by late 1980s it was one of the largest street gangs in the country. In 1999, there were at least 600 Crips sets with more than 30,000 members transporting drugs in the United States. The Underground UGC x BCG The UnderGround Crips (UGC) also known as UnderGround Blocc Crips (UGBC) are primarily, but not exclusively, an African-American street gang, located in the Brogue neighborhood of South Los Santos, San Andreas. Their neighborhood stretches from Normandie Ave and Denker Ave, between 103rd Street and 108th Street. The UnderGround Crips fall under Blocc Crips and are part of the “Rollin 100s Crips” alliance. The Under Ground Blocc Crips consist of three cliques the 103rd Street and 105th Street as well as 107th Street. This region of South Central Los Santos (South Vermont Avenue), is known as “Death Ally” due to the high murder rate on this side of town. The UnderGround Blocc Crips are affiliated with the Neighborhood Crips (Deuce 2x). The Under Ground Crips [UGC] are a predominately African-American street gang located on the westside of South Los Santos between Budlong and Western Avenues from 103rd to 108th Streets. The UGCs are part of the Rollin 100s Crip alliance which started in jail during the early 1990s. The UGCs were one of the first spin off gangs from the original West Side Crips which approximately occurred in 1973. Monkey Man, an original Westside Crip from the “100s” faction, is considered the founder of the UnderGround Crips as the movement for specific neighborhood identity grew during the early 1970s. The original founders often spent time in the basement of a house off Western & 104th Streets, hence the name “Underground” but the gang was most likely named after Curtis Mayfield’s 1971 song, “The Underground” off his Roots album. Three of the UGCs cliques are 103rd, 105th and 107th Street. In recent years they have added 106th Street as a fourth click of UG. The UGs have adapted the logo of the Indianapolis Colts as a cultural identifier of their neighborhood. The Original Blocc Crips [BCG, OBCG, OBC] are a predominately African-American street gang located in the unincorporated section of Los Santos County known as Athens. Their turf lays between Normandie (east) and Western Avenues (west) from 107th Street (north) to Imperial Highway (south). This section of South Los Santos is policed by the Lennox Department of the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department, but it is adjacent to the City of Los Santos to the north. The Blocc Crips are among the first Crip gangs to splinter off of the Westside Crips around 1973 when Melvin Hardy formed this new identity. The Undergroud Crips and the Neighborhood Blocc Crips were also among the first gangs to breakaway from the Westside Crip identity around the same time. They are part of a loose affiliation of other Crip gangs known as the Rollin 100s that formed in jail during the 1980s. The Blocc Crip have the following cliques; 107th, 110th & 113th. Rather than a fictional approach, we will be executing a down to the bone mirror image of the very real W/S Rolling 100s Underground Blocc Crips. Two cliques out of the gang that make up the 2 sub-sets. For those wanting to be part of the faction your first step should be private messaging me rather than just jumping In-Game. There's information provided in the Discord that we will like you to read prior to making your In-Game appearance. The info touches up on things such as being familiar with the community of Brogue Area and ways to get your character involved with the faction, etc.

  11. COPYRIGHT @ LOSSANTOSMOBS.COM 2021 Middle Eastern Organized Crime Groups Middle Eastern OC Groups came to fruition in the United States during the 1980s. The country’s hubs for such groups were established in Detroit, MI and New York City. Middle Eastern OC has since expanded across the entire American Northeast, and to Florida and San Andreas. There are an estimated 15 crime families, or clans, operating around the United States. They are comprised of numerous nationalities and ethnic groups, to include Egyptians, Iraqis and Israelis. While originally involved with “traditional” crimes, these groups were especially scrutinized after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Since then, numerous organizations around the country have been identified as aiding and assisting overseas terrorist groups. Shell companies will be formed within urban enclaves, ostensibly to provide religious support and other community services. However, this is a cover for funneling financial and logistical support to terrorist groups abroad. Middle Eastern OC groups typically engage in gun running, narcotics distribution, cigarette smuggling, interstate trafficking of stolen goods, fraud and money laundering. These enterprises rely on extensive networks of international criminal associates and can be highly sophisticated in their criminal operations. Middle Eastern criminal organizations often engage in joint criminal ventures with one another and across ethnic lines when there is potential profit.“ Source: FBI. The History of Israeli Organized Crime in Los Santos A new player in the mix. Who is he? Is he running the show? 01-02-2021 Born to two Jewish parents of Moroccan and French descent, David Mizrahi spent most of his childhood back and forth between Israel and the United States of America. His parents split up, and his mother decided to go live back in Israel, whereas his father was a US resident, and spent most of his life in the US. It is believed that David Mizrahi’s father was connected to the mob, but there’s no real evidence behind that claim. He’s been seen around mob circles, and has parlayed with very important known Israeli mob figures. It is believed that David Mizrahi’s been introduced to crime at the age of 16, and has spent his whole life reaping the rewards from a criminal lifestyle. David Mizrahi isn’t your average rogue Israeli criminal because of the connections he’s made through his mentor, Itay Waknine. It is believed that David Mizrahi’s reign is respected by two very big Eurasian criminals - one of them being the crowned Vasken Gezalian, and that even Benjamin Waknine himself has signed off on allowing David to operate for himself. It is believed that Itay Waknine directly pays tribute to two criminals, whereas David is operating alone, but he reaps all the rewards because of Itay Waknine’s connections, and his pull in Los Santos. David’s crew is believed to operate out of Rockford Hills, and this move was signed off by none other than Benjamin himself, and the very same criminals who vassalized Itay Waknine. Unlike his Israeli counterparts, David doesn’t have as many ties to Israel, and it is believed that he is operating on his own. He doesn’t have anybody to answer to. David Mizrahi lives a life of luxury, and when he isn’t earning income through illicit means, he can be spotted in several different nightclubs in Los Santos. It is believed that David is a loud, flashy but calculated enforcer. The Reign of Michael Lev 07-05-2015 Michael Lev, Joseph Waknine and Benjamin Waknine are seen by most as The Israeli Godfathers in Los Santos. For it was them who first prompted the move from Israel, and got the backing of The Jerusalem Circle to operate out in Los Santos. The Jerusalem Circle being a “Commission” of crime families in Israel. Joseph Waknine was first introduced to the Israeli underworld in Netanya, Israel during the 1990s by a notable crime family. Waknine operated as a runner under "Abraham Hazan" - a drug lord and close associate who is among the primary influences of Waknine's current repute. Joseph progressively clambered up the echelons through outstanding performances and sharp operation executions. He was merely a disposable man in his initial years but gradually proved otherwise. Throughout several years, it was suggested that Joseph should expand his operations in suitable areas deemed profitable, such as the United States. The proposition was approved; Waknine proceeded to scale his dope game to Los Santos by the late 2000s. He quickly struck prosperity through illicit activities. Waknine's money and hustle is primarily based on the production of ecstasy and outsourcing them to notable criminal figures, where they are then distributed to the streets / nightclubs for use. His right hand, Benjamin Waknine identified as his son, immigrated to Los Santos in 2013 for further expansion and distribution throughout the network. Waknine is noted as the main point of contact for distribution, as well as fee and debt collection on the behalf of Joseph. The Father Son Duo 03-24-2017 Benjamin Waknine rose to fame in Los Santos in a rather quick fashion. Known for his confrontational mentality, and lavish spending, it didn’t take too long before the federal authorities picked up wind. They eventually started building a RICO case on B. Waknine, starting in 2009. In 2012, B. Waknine was picked up on a RICO indictment but later he managed to beat the criminal case. With the lack of evidence presented by the FBI, he was released, and all indictments against him were dropped come 2014. After Michael Lev's 2016 arrest and incarceration, the father and son duo officially took over Lev's spot to rule the city of Fallen Angels. Benjamin was the muscle behind the operation, and his father was the brains behind it. Benjamin’s reign was smooth, and he had an extensive network built out of Rockford Hills. Some can even say that he had a God complex and that he wouldn’t bow down to any authority. This attribute spilled onto his members, who were publicly defiant against the Los Santos police and municipal government officials. The Israeli golden age was fruitful, but it didn’t last very long. After Benjamin’s father fell sick, Benjamin was called back to Israel, and he had to bring his Los Santos operation to a quick halt. The Israeli golden age comes crashing down 9-13-2019 After Benjamin Waknine’s absence, everything was left behind with another member of his family, I. Waknine. Itay was soft compared to his cousin, and he was pushed into a corner by his cousin’s old enforcers. Itay Waknine ended up branding away from The Waknine Organization by selling his soul to Vasken Gezalian, and one unknown other crowned vor. He had the protection, and the backing, to roam around as a free agent in the underworld. He was untouched, until a violent dispute took place between Waknine remnants, and the group that Itay pays tribute to. Numerous remnants from The Waknine Organization remain dead while Itay Waknine and a few others are still alive. Several surviving criminals are suspected to have fled back to Europe and Israel. Missing person’s reports have been issued for three alleged gangsters; they’re all classified as Endangered Missing. The current situation of the Israeli underworld in Los Santos is unclear. It all came crumbling down after Benjamin Waknine’s absence. Benjamin was a very brash person, and he instilled that in most of his associates. After he was called back to Israel, the leftover associates from his organization didn’t have the swagger to pull it off. The Demise of The Mizrahi Regime 30.06.2021 In late June a shootout left 11 people dead, and a few of them were believed to be reputed Israeli crime figures. David Mizrahi was among one of the people who unfortunately died in a shootout in Pacific Bluffs. The ambitious Itay Waknine made a move that cost him his small time offshoot crew. Authorities don’t know who kick-started the conflict but the very same people who were shooting at The Israeli figures were long time friends of Itay Waknine, and it is believed that he was in business with the notorious Ralph Sciandra. It is believed that Ralph Sciandra who was also spotted dead in the scene was racking in around a 300 thousand a month with Itay Waknine. Authorities don’t know what led to the sudden burst of violence that erupted between business partners - and the wave of violence that plagued Los Santos is still getting investigated by authorities. What now for The Israeli Cartel? 15.07.2021 The Waknines are known for their resilience. Benjamin Waknine himself beat a RICO case, and countless wars to subdue his criminal counterparts. His rise to fame in Los Santos was plagued by setbacks, but he still managed to come out on top after all of it too. His cousin and protégé is also believed to have been part of a civil war and multiple conflicts - and he’s always managed to stay alive during these altercations. The Pacific Bluffs shootout is a clear testament of that resilience. Itay Waknine’s business partners and earners all died, but he’s been spotted in Los Santos multiple times, and has taken multiple flights back and forth between Los Santos and Miami. Benjamin Waknine has been spotted in Los Santos multiple times with his right-hand man, Eyal Romano. Authorities believed that the brash young mob boss and his right hand man are still operating in their breeding ground of Los Santos. The Israeli Cartel still has a massive presence in Rockford, and they’re still seen mingling with figures of Rockford such as business owners and known small time criminals who all pay homage to Benjamin Waknine. 12. This group will be closed due to the fact the leadership was found to have broken numerous rules and does not have roleplay up to standard with what we expect to see from groups.

  13. Nothing But Hustlers is a fictional concept. Us as a group, we concentrate mainly on quality over quantity in all perspectives. In this concept, we always focus on our development, which conclusively connects the faction. Before joining, I advise you to do some research on Los Angeles or any other African-American illegal criminal organizations. When role-playing around the faction, your character should have some type of valid reason for hanging out around the group. Most of the time, the character grew up on the block with somebody associated with the group, attended schools in the neighborhoods Nothing But Hustlers supplies, may have relatives or family members involved in other gangs and therefore already knows how things go down in the area. Approaching the faction may seem hard, but some things to take in and think about will make the process a whole lot easier than it looks. The faction consists of most American time zone members (GMT -4 to GMT -8), but don't panic; we usually are active all day on the weekends or during the week. We'll be on for about four-six hours max. So outsiders should keep in mind that you will probably catch us in-game no matter what time zone you are in. Every day is different, so our "peak" or "main" times cannot be specified. Character development plays a heavy role in this faction, and we also expect high roleplay standards from our members. The minimum ages that we recommend people starting would probably between 18 and 24. Start slow, and from the bottom, take your time to develop your character correctly. People don't end up on the block and turn into hardened thugs after an hour of hanging out, and it's just not like that unless it was a family generation thing. Also the leadership of NBH @Trap-Money Scooby & @slim. suggests that members be affiliated in gangs/communities associated with NBH, ex: E/S Main Street Parc Boyz
