  1. Rollin 50s Neighborhood Crips " Only The Fifties " The Rollin 50 Neighborhood Crips also known as the Rollin Fifties (R50). They consist of three main subs sets which are 55 Neighborhood Crips, 57 Neighborhood Crips, and the 58 Neighborhood Crips. The turf of the street gang stretches from Blank and Blank. Before the 55 Neighborhood Crips were under the Rollin (2x) Crip card they were affiliated with the hustlers. The street gang made the switch to the (2x) Crip card in the late 1990’s. The original set of the Fifties were the 55th street clique and to this day they are still the biggest clique of the street gang. Their known to be deep and numbers and to be properly structured. The Rollin 50s were known to be bitter rivals of the 51 Trouble Gangster Crips and much blood was shed over it. The street gang were know to have many beefs due to how deep they were and due to how many people surrounded the street gang, but that doesn't mean that they weren't cool with anyone. The gang was known to be cool with each and every gang that brandished themselves within the Neighborhood Crip card. The Neighborhood Crips were prominent in the late 1970's due to to another street gang that was under the card had a long lasting feud with a rival (3x) or Gangster Crip set. After that was all sat and done, this left other Crip sets trying to choose one of the two cards, and they had to choose. This led to (2x) and (3x) Crip sets having a profound rivalry and were known to beef, and that is what started the hostility between the Rollin 50 Neighborhood Crips and the 51 Trouble Gangster Crips. The Rollin 50 Neighborhood Crips were also known to beef with blood sets and the two main sets they beefed were the Harvard Parks and the Van Ness Gangsters. Here and their, they were known to feud with the Hoover and that's just another story of it's own. The beef started due to the fact that they were under the (2x) Crip card and the Hoovers didn't like that, and had a profound hatred for them, causing many deaths on both sides. In the early 1990s, there was a sudden rush to live near the Blank and Blank street due to their cheap housing. After years and years of the homes not getting purchased in the area, the government later added them to section 8. What is section 8? Section 8” is a common name for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Home Forward administers the program throughout Los Santos County, in other words, “ Cheaper housing”. As that got released more and more people of the African-American race started to infest those vacant houses. As they started to move in, there was a little bit more to come with that. Drugs started to infest the areas such as weed and primarily coke, and vendors on the streets started to get attacked by cliques coming up around the area, it just got worse. Once the LSPD started to gain more notoriety they started to crack down by doing raids and random searches for guns and drugs on people around the area. Did this stop anyone? Nope, not at all. In fact, this made things worse. What was also infected with this? The school system. Kids started to argue with their teachers, and get into fights. Their would be teachers hitting on the students, and students hitting on teachers. More fights would start to break out just because of what street you lived on and who you were. Let's just say, this was not a good environment for a kid to grow up in. After school would be just as bad. There would be kids getting into fist fights, and brawls. The street gangs around the area used this as another way for their youth to get somewhere with others. Even though this wasn't their intentions but due to the fact of where you grew up and where you where from, you would have certain problems attending these schools. Teenagers like to hold themselves to an certain extinct and always had it in the back of their mind to never take a bad reputation to their set, cause if they did. They would have to be handled discipline from their older homies. Their were many different schools located around the areas of Los Santos and depending on where you lived, is where most likely the school you would be headed to. For some this was a good thing, and sadly for other, it would be a bad thing. How could this become a bad thing for other? Some street gangs youth were stronger in other school houses, and some of them were weaker in other school houses, so this could set some others up due to the fact what they where from, and what they were around when they grew up. The negative impact the schools had on the children was what set them up, and what most likely failed them, its a sad story but cold truth. These areas weren't good for children and also had a negative impact on them as they had to worry about what could happen, and always had to look over their shoulder, no child should have to worry about that whilst attending school. Gang Ties & Modern Days Whilst the street gang is still pretty active until this day, the 58 Neighborhood Crips are pretty much out of the mix, and it has been like that for some time now. As time went on the Rollin Fifties decided to make the 557 alliance due to the fact that those were the two man sub sets pushing the street gang. The gang is known to still be in the mix and their youth is known to be as active as any other set. The 58 Neighborhood set got known to be closer with the Rollin 60's, which is another gang that is affiliated within the Neighborhood Crip card. Even though this switch happened, they didn't complain, disown, or have any hatred for the set, that's just how the cookie crumbled. Due to the Rollin 50s being a part of the Rollin (2x) Crip card, they have been set to beef with many rival Tray gangs or also known as the (3x). As the set is still pretty structured and still have their head on the right way, the gang follows through with many rules to follow and known to follow since the early ages of the street gang. They've been following the rules set for themselves since the start up, which is the 1990's and their younger generation still follows them due to being held accountable for their actions by their older homies. The gang also gang some attraction because they have a notorious member of the gang that goes by C-Mac due to him being all over social media platforms and television. He's known to be from the 55 Neighborhood set and his story is not like any other. He's been initiated into the set and has done his fair share of work for it, but he's still around. The member doesn't try to change his life around. In fact, he showcases it to the world and lets them know, that's who he is and that won't ever change. As the member got more popularity he'd started to put his gang on the map and started to give back to his community due to the fact of how harsh it was when he didn't have anything, and wouldn't pay the little things forward of what he had. The member is a nun like any other and that's what they push on their younger generation. The street gang is still known for dissing rivals through social media, and blasting up enemies territory and their own with disrespectful gang disses and even adding their own to let them know who did it. The gang still pushes themselves around Los Santos and are known to be ruthless and careless to anyone who crosses their passes and try to disrespect them in the process.
