What is your take on erotic roleplay?

Do I have anything against ERP? no, you do you as long as it's in a secluded place.

Do I ERP? nope, I dislike doing it, I tried, not my cup of tea.

 

My take? ERP is pointless unless it's some sex worker character you're roleplaying as it basically generates roleplay to a degree, having a boss, dealing w/ customers, dealing w/ potential problems your boss is dragging you into. If you're talking about hardcore ERPers that seem to have intercourse with 10 people a day, ye that seems a bit excessive. It's a fine line to walk really.

 

As Oak before me said it, it's a highly subjective issue, as long as no one is breaking any rules.

Don't drag me into your weird erotic fan fiction that you want me to roleplay for 5 hours straight, no way sir. But I get why people do it, I've done it before and it's nothing interesting most of the time. I tend to go for FTB, helps storytelling a lot more.

It's fine if it contributes to development. It shouldn't be the main theme of your character.

It’s some part of a character development, but shouldn’t be as detailed as porn scene, its up to the players and how comfort they are with such as actions. If I’ll perform ERP it’ll be just a few commands to generally describe it happened.

Or they earn money for it. It's amazing how people who do not hesitate to murder a fucking teen over an insult IG are so disgusted by someone, who maybe roleplays a prostitute or porn actress.
