  1. Does the same problem exist with non minor chars who use their wealth to commit crimes that make no sense for their char? Sure. But just yesterday we arrested 4 minors. 1 of them was 12 years old, yes 12 and he possessed a driver's license and 4 expensive vehicles. His 3 other friends who also were below 16 all owned 2-4 vehicles. I could give you a new example probably every day and before anyone says "rpqm them" I'd have to fill out 3 reports every day and that's not fun. Again if you wanna portrait a teenage gang character then make sure you portrait it as should be. Even if it means getting caught in your shitty car.
  2. See thats the thing. Nobody forces someone to play a minor in a gang. If you get caught cause your character can't afford a decent car? Then so be it. You chose to portrait a poor struggling teen raised in the wrong area of town who tries to get by. Id rather get caught in my Primo than evade in a flashy car. Cause in the end? Portrayal is more important to me than not doing jail time.
  3. I feel like this derailed a little. I am by no means intending to stop minors from driving or owning cars. I however find it strongly weird that the meta for a lot of people is to use flashy and sporty cars driven by 15-16 year old kids for gang hits. Correct me if I am wrong but that's exactly why the speed of the Torrence got nerfed, because everyone used them for hits and robberies for an easy escape route. Same with the BF 400. Now i understand that you can't keep nerfing vehicles but the issue still stands.
  4. The most common explanation I get (at least icly) is that their dad owns it. But Idk if my dad would appreciate me bringing his car home full of bullet holes.
  5. Hello, lately I've come across many 16 year old characters who commit crime in expensive and fast cars mainly to easily evade law enforcement if need to. It seems that the current "meta" for some minor characters is that they own multiple cars. One that is a cheap and I guess every day car and the others more expensive and fast vehicles that get used in gang attacks for the sole reason to escape quickly. It happens to me almost daily that I have a flashy car evade from me and after running the plate I am met with the mdc record of a minor who possesses multiple vehicles. Curious if there's any ideas how to tackle stuff like that without having to involve rpqm every day multiple times, which is why I decided to drop this discussion. I am by no means saying that every minor gang character uses sporty cars to shoot up a hood. There's been many cases of teenagers trying to escape in shitty vehicles as well, just something that sadly happens too often. Especially after the nerf of the Torrence, people tend to buy cars like the Rebla or Hellhound, known for their speed without keeping their characters wealth in mind.
  6. Let me give you a rundown as to what happened yesterday on PDs side. - We had around 5 panic alarms going off, 3 Officers killed during a traffic stop cause the people inside ''had drugs in the car''. - Chamberlain was shot up by AKs (again). - Constant shootings in the Forum area minutes after the last shooting occured. During the weekend in particular, rarely an hour passes without a shots fired call. People run around with automatic firearms, and PF guns they probably received from a friend shoot each other, only to respawn. You have 15 year old teens shooting at Officers to free their friend in cuffs, dying in the process. I think you are getting my point.
  7. And there's nothing wrong with it being discussed publicly that's what the section is for. But my question is if you wanna discuss a story why do you not provide screens of the entire situation? There were multiple factors that lead the officer to searching you. You were asked to step out based on the potential threat you possess. Your character was clearly high as your examine stated (the system is there for a reason) plus your behavior when asked to walk to the patrol car. You clearly didn't want to be searched. You started showing that as soon as you were asked to step out, giving the officer enough RS to frisk you. Again in all of my time in PD so far this was the first time this happened at least when I was present. Nobody wants to take your guns away randomly.
  8. My partner reacted as he should have upon spotting your very dangerous record. This thread is already going out of hand again with people randomly accusing LEO rpers of doing unlawful things without any proof whatsoever. Also it's funny to me how you are claiming play to win mentality by the police in that scene when you yourself ran off without any rp whilst being held down, dropped your firearm while driving 100+ mph onto the road as well as pking yourself out of your jail time. I hope you see that what happened was not unlawful in any way.
  9. Hello I was the officer that pulled you over, well my partner was, I simply conducted a training patrol as he's a rookie. Once seeing your record, it was decided to get you out for a Terry frisk. You had multiple charges regarding murder and attempted murder on your record as well as priors to being a felon in possession of a firearm as well as a closed high risk warrant. You reported it during the initial scene and it was explained to you then and there. I understand your frustration but a character with your record is gonna be treated that way. You kept trying to go ooc and eventually pked yourself out of any consequences. Nobody in any LEO faction is gonna randomly frisk you for being a gang member. High risk traffic stops exist.
  10. I'd highly recommend you to not comment on anything without knowing the full context of a situation. Campos was in no way talking to the two teenagers in all red, who walked up to the officers on scene telling them to ''leave their hood, on blood'', in which they responded as you can see. Campos was actually ignoring them and continued with her briefing.
  11. Genuinely asking here. What's wrong with the ss
  12. "Just killed 3 bikers with my elegy lol see u at the gas station tomorrow same time?"
  13. I really wish there was a script that won't allow you to park your car to fix the damages. Most of the banham drivers get into crashes quite frequently and very rarely rp it (at least from what I've seen). I'm not trying to bash anyone or point fingers in any way shape or form. I remember being on a scene where 1 of the racers crashed into a convoy of bikers nearly killing 2 of them. The driver in question didn't seem to be very bothered by it on an IC point of view and cared more about not getting his license suspended than hoping that nobody would pass away.
  14. +1 Let the people at least disable it, it's weird to get used to it when you've been closing your chat mid sentence with escape for 2 years
  15. Short description: Make holsters available for decals or accessories, not undershirts. Detailed description: Having the holsters as your undershirt limits your outfits by a lot. Having them under decals or accessories would widen your creativity when creating an outfit. Especially now with the open carry law in the county, having them as an undershirt limits my character's ability of using a holster, since most of my outfits use a shirt as an undershirt. Commands to add: - Items to add: - How would your suggestion improve the server? Would give people more room for creativity, especially with the said open carry law now. Additional information: -

  18. I mean let's be real there's probably less 'Americans' in all of Los Santos than foreigners (Europeans etc). I do agree with some of the things the OP stated. As a Blaine local you'll run into a few people who watched trailer park boys too many times and replicate it. However I myself don't see it as that much of a problem. No matter what Sandy might represent, given the physical state of most buildings around and the general trashy and poor atmosphere it does makes sense to have a handful of uneducated 'hillbilly' type people around. The 'hatred against city folk' some Blaine characters have is easily justified given the almost daily appearances from Davis gang members who are out to rob people for only their firearms. That and the occasional 'ricers' who speed through the neighborhoods and quite frequently cause accidents with their flashy sports cars. All in all rping in Sandy or around Blaine in general has been a very pleasant experience and the most fun I've had role-playing a legal character in general. The main community which fills the area with a lot of activities consists of nothing but good people and I can only recommend it to people.
