  1. The entire vehicle theft system needs to be revamped. It's very poor right now, and there isn't much incentive to stealing cars right now other than joy riding.
  2. Law Enforcement can't keep up with the amount of shootings that occur. Homicides happen so often that I'd say 99% of them have no investigative element. Regardless of race, at least 60% of homicides in the United States are solved. (https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/track-solved-murder-rates-united-states-n1271928) The gang on gang violence, I understand, but it's turning into a DM server slowly, but surely. Law Enforcement puts HOURS of time into investigations, form work, etc. The escalation of these shootings is far too quick and spontaneous since everyone wants to be a badass. On top of that, I feel as if illegal RPers know that law enforcement will not even make an attempt to identify, nor do they have the means, therefore nobody roleplays hiding.
  3. I'm very confused on what this is proposing. Is this a private company? Or attempting to be a government faction?
  4. Username: BigNUt Comment: I sincerely hope that Devine Pearson LLP can argue a case better than they can form a sentence. Donation (if applicable):
  5. Aperture was literally a mimic of the Umbrella Corp. No. And it shouldn't have existed in RCRP either.
  6. Yes. I think you should allow any roleplay allowed if the server population benefits. Allow military roleplay, allow SAHP, allow a FIB/FBI. It will only create more roleplay scenarios and benefit the server. Creating semi-fictional agencies on the other hand I don't think should be allowed. There are several people here stating they aren't needed, well I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the San Andreas Fire Marshals surely aren't needed.
  7. Username: WhereDaDope Comment: Yes, because destroying tax-payer property is a great idea. Oh wait, the people protesting probably aren't paying taxes.
  8. I agree, there needs to be more break-ins occuring. Right now, the influx of shootings are the only roleplay that the LSPD and LSSD have. Responding to more realistic property crimes is not only more realistic, but changes the flow of the roleplay.
  9. I have no experience doing illegal roleplay, but roleplaying as a cop, it's a very slim chance in my experience that the Illegal roleplayer will actually appreciate the roleplay, not complain, and not be upset they "lost" even if they made a silly mistake to get caught. They are usually extremely bitter OOCly. I have had some organizations, such as Little Tokyo, be extremely courteous OOCly via Discord and awesome roleplayers in general. And I'll agree with the above comments, it seems as if even if a player is "wrong" for doing something, they are left unpunished and told to "void" the situation entirely, speaking from past reports with blatant metagame. This is a win for the reported party, and a loss for the reporting person.
  10. // Been an honor to roleplay with this group. Cheers! //
  11. @YungZombie @MXVII @Calamity Missing a couple others out of the Tokyo Strip crew. The best roleplayers I've seen in GTA:World. I've been overwhelmingly happy to play with them and develop my character. Cheers! -The Narc 👍
  12. Uhhhh.... I've been clubbing in LA and SD multiple times. West Hollywood is all clubs. San Diego Gas Lamp district is the same exact way. It's a blast.
  13. I meant it on a global level, however, my post was reflected purely off of personal experience. Updated the title.
  14. Man, I wish. The issue is that when I talk to people OOCly about the case and details that might spook them, them MG it immediately and will shut down ICly. It's a rare occasion where I'll run into someone who properly wants to keep it an IC issue and not jeopardize the case. I already know you're follow up reply will be, "Well report them", however they will consistently come up with excuses stating why their character got spooked which are not true at the least. You have to understand, I'm also ok with this being done on a world level and not just law level if there is a fear of metagaming illegal RPers.
  15. Please explain to me how "be a better detective" avoids metagaming from the forums? I edited my original post seconds before you replied by the way.
  16. It's not /us/ posting screenshots, it's those selling the dope posting screenshots in the GTA:W forums. When we post SS's, they are heavily edited removing our IC names.
  17. Hi all! I'm a more than fair Detective on my character, however, all Detectives are still metagamed on a daily basis whether you believe it or not. I'm simply suggesting a command such as /alias that can be used to cover the character's name tag by replacing it with a temporary fictional name above their head without masking. It's one spot to know my character on an in-character basis which is 110% acceptable, however, myself and my fellow comrades are simply metagamed because of screenshots posted on the forums, Discord, or others of us purchasing weapons, narcotics, etc. Due to my role, I'm constantly posted in pictures on the forums with my IC name which can easily be metagamed by others. If this command is added, it will be heavily monitored by LFM, LSPD, and LSSD without a doubt. TL:DR; allow Detectives from PD/SD to temporarily change their nametag above their head to an unused name when making buys or undercover ops in order to avoid MG. EDIT: A great idea was also brought to light. Allow this for SD/PD Detectives, but this has to be an approved command similar to break ins which will require admin approval.
  18. Yes sir! Without name dropping the person, I was RPing PD in an MTA server around 6 years ago with someone and ended up flying across the country to their wedding years later. We are still great friends to this day. I've been friends with several people who are part of this community and offer them places to stay year around in the United States for free. I've known the OP for years as well!
  19. Semper Fortis. Go Navy. Veteran status as of 2016.
  20. same concept with the bean bag shotgun-...... it's extremely OP and will not knock someone down like the script currently does. It's painful, but doesn't have knocking force.
