  1. Started off on Valhalla in 2011, was on MTA up until 2017 roleplaying
  2. There shouldn't be constraints for people to have access to these interiors because not everyone's goal/intention in regards to roleplay is the same. Some people may genuinely want to RP being poor and there's no problem with that.
  3. With the current playerbase I don't know why this hasn't been done sooner. There are so many unused buildings/complexes in the server that are just sitting there that could be used for this purpose. Once these government owned houses/apartments are rented by a player a certain % of their income should be deducted upon payday. God knows how many people just stack paychecks just to buy expensive cars while their characters remain homeless because the opportunity cost of doing so is not being to roleplay how they want to or being homeless.
  4. I don't think you have a proper grasp on the concept of "realistic role-play". You shouldn't have to rely on public events in order to enjoy role-play. Create your own RP.
  5. Mediocre would be a compliment
  6. Valhalla Gaming, Multi Theft Auto
  7. After encountering some of you guys in-game I hope to avoid members in this faction at all times on any character. I sincerely hope you brush up on your role-play skills.
  8. It would be pretty amazing if adding single player NPCs was possible. It'd make things a lot more immersive. I know people have proposed this idea before on san andreas RP servers but I never saw it implemented anywhere. I would like to know if such a thing is possible. I think it would attract a lot more people in general.
  9. I've been playing on this server since 2017 and I have yet to interact with an illegal faction that isn't a pseudo-paramilitary organization filled to the brim with DMers whose characters have the physical prowess of superman. I've also come to terms with the fact that character development for these people, as well as passive role-play around their neighborhoods is too much to ask for, as people would just rather drive the map looking for people to start beef with or get into bat fights without any sort of provocation. In terms of the current situation, seeing neighborhoods on the south side with actual people standing around and passive role-playing, instead of abandoning their super-cars bought with money from farming paychecks/ scripted jobs, seems like a pipe dream.
  10. The amount you get from delivery driving at the most basic level is quite generous as it is. If anything, it should be reduced. Create your own roleplay and generate your own ideas on how to make money without grinding through scripted jobs just so you can buy a sportscar and drive around pointlessly.
  11. This but unironically
  12. Why are real location names being used in the story of a gang located in a fictional city?

    GTA:SA

I honestly prefer the customization GTA V allows the HD universe just looks way better in general. Only problem is the map is just way too big, and I mostly play at night - which makes it pretty depressing when driving around on empty streets in the dark.
  14. Good to see like minded individuals on here. That being said, I have something in the works right now which should bring up the quality of illegal RP on here. There are a few on this thread that I'd like to work anyway. Let me know if anyone's interested in PMs.
  15. Just wondering what people think about current state of illegal RP on the server and what changes they would like to see (if any) in any regard, from rules to aiding illegal RP.
  16. I like the way it is currently, adds immersion. Unnecessary, don't support.

    Dymanic Weather

Just turn off rain completely and have it be sunny all the time.
  18. What I derived from your original post was that you seemed to have a problem with characters looking for vehicle discounts which occurs quite frequently in real life. At the same time I've managed to sell personal vehicles for a decent price for about 10% less than what I bought them for, despite some of those vehicles being generally considered undesirable. I will say that the vehicle economy here is quite unique. Although there's a diverse range of vehicles available in V, people don't take much in to account when considering purchasing a vehicle, with speed and aesthetics being the largest factors in their decision. I think if more features were introduced for vehicles, such as more in-depth tuning (and not just adding a few aesthetic mods), would surely diversify the vehicle economy and make vehicle role-play more interesting.
  19. This is an IC issue and I don't see any reason to bring it up on the forums.
  20. This argument has been stressed to death in every roleplay community I've been a part of. There's essentially one type of player whose style of rolelay is interchangeable and found in all text based RP communities. These are the types of people that usually show little to no regard for their life and try to portray their character as an archetypal lovechild of Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Bond, but his background story consists of growing up in a broken household in an impoverished part of Los Santos. Another characterization attributed to these players' characters is the complete lack of ability to show any emotion whatsoever, a blatant refusal to elaborate on his character's emotional side; so by extension, roleplay with players of this ilk tends to restrict itself due to the lack of elaboration of the character itself. A third attribute of players that comes about as a result of their so called "development" of their characters is trigger-happiness. They'll shoot up anyone who looks at them wrongly, insults them while they're alone, and are quick to draw their gun out in the open with no fear of any repercussions. Their excuse tends to be: "But in real life gangsters are always killing people, so why can't I?", and my response to that is that it essentially kills any fruitful RP or development of characters in street gangs. We're playing a very niche game mode with a limited number of players. They are essentially dehumanizing themselves, and make the excuse that "just because it happens in real life I should be able to do it here." People should make an active effort to show the more human sides of their characters, and look for an alternative to solve their disputes purely for the sake of role-play and immersion. If more people did that, then maybe we could begin to have a discussion on the leniency of gun-related issues on the server, and what counts as a legitimate scenario in order to draw a gun and shoot another player. But most people don't care about the most important part which is character development and passive roleplay.
