  1. "I went to the State-Pen, not Penn-State homeboy, I'm in it for life" Credits to Shmoe Fo and @CrimeandComrades for helping build this guide from the groundup. This Guide aims to establish a baseline for Roleplayers interested in the Aryan Brotherhood, and the gangs that reside under it. DISCLAIMER: Before anyone dives into this guide, I’d like you to understand one thing. We are portraying white gang members, some of which are white supremacists. Most white gangs in California have a racial aspect due to the nature of prison segregation throughout history. Before you attempt/approach this type of roleplay, I recommend you leave any and all real life bias behind. Because it's highly likely that IC and OOC could be mixed due to OOC bias, which leads to an unrealistic character, and uninteresting character. This guide is to explain white roleplay indepth, and to assist anyone in the “what/why/how” questions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beginnings Nothing is better than the youth when it comes to handpicking individuals to be influenced by white gang members. What that means is that a majority of members being pulled into these white gangs/cliques are misled youth. Teens from 12-19 participating in any/all activities from browsing on forums, going to punk concerts, or participating in a drug-consuming scene, are easily coerced into listening to the ideologies of older people in the scene that they respect, who often end up being white gang members. Not knowing that slowly but surely they are being brought under the wing of these hate-filled gangs, and sophisticated criminal enterprises. The most important aspect of these youth however isn't their personal interests and internet activity, but drug use. Drug addiction for most white-gang members is the catalyst for their involvement in white criminal organizations. This is what often produces the motivation for their crimes, and puts them in the settings where they meet these gang members. Skinheads arise from all sorts of backgrounds. Many start out as unaffiliated peckerwoods, and go on to become skinheads. Many seek out being a criminal skinhead due to the reputation of gangs like PENI, COORS, and NLR. Many people have friends in the gang or lifestyle, and that brings them in. Oftentimes they might grow up in an area with skinheads, or enjoy a particular thing that skinheads also enjoy. Oftentimes, latchkey kids are recruited from whatever scene they might be in, like the punk scene. Latchkey kids being children with plenty of unsupervised free-time, often middle-class although not always. However, at the very beginning stages, most of the people that grow up to be skinheads don’t adhere to any ideologically racist way of viewing the world. They are coached into, and encouraged to think along these lines so the gang can recruit them and control them. Every gang functions separately, however, most criminal skinheads gangs don’t vehemently coach these beliefs until the potential recruit is locked up. The idea of ranks is largely superficial. There aren’t many official ranks within these sorts of gangs, but there are unofficial, more general, phases to membership in a skinhead gang. For our purposes, these are: Recruitment, early membership, and old members. Much of the time membership in a skinhead gang is withheld until a member has served time in prison with other members. Recruitment usually starts before the recruit in question knows it, as they may be a friend or family of another member. They initially begin to befriend a member, and that member slowly indoctrinates them. They’ll shave their head and eventually the recruitment becomes overt. Once they first join the gang they’re often held to a high standard. They may be shown the ropes, but they’re often expected to be the first in line to put in any particular work that needs done. Eventually, after they put in enough work and enough time has passed they transition into the senior phase, where they aren’t regulated and have a significant amount of influence within the gang. Typically these are the members that are making high level decisions, though young members may be given high-level tasks to test them. Again, these are unofficial stages of development. Nobody comes up and makes you an old member one day, and when it happens, you probably don’t know it. The racist beliefs of any given skinhead are an enigma. A synthesis of various ideas, and coaching, that can express itself in a variety of ways. Oftentimes they are influenced by an ideological stance to racism. They memorize the 14 words, and read obscure racist authors. They glorify Nazis, Mussolini, and fascists in a way that aligns with their personal view of the world, oftentimes twisting and morphing the ideologies along the way. Many others will approach it from a mystical stance; oftentimes skinheads are encouraged towards Odinism / Astruu / Wotanism as a natural extension of their racist beliefs. Many consider Odinism to be the ancestral Aryan religion, which only Aryan people should practice. These Ideological beliefs tend to exist only on a surface level, for recruitment and control. Many skinheads tend to ignore their ideologies in everyday life outside of the prison. Oftentimes they’ll cross racial boundaries, even with Blacks, for profit. The days of traditional skinhead look: suspenders, boots with white or red laces, is pretty much over in the everyday fashion of criminal skinheads. LA Punk gangs and major skinhead groups like PENI eventually changed the style to incorporate a Sureno-like look. Donning baggie T’shirts, Dickies short, Chucks, Pendleton and Flat-bill caps. Oftentimes regular flat-bill’s brims will be bent to the user’s choice. PENI incorporated Pirates hats into their everyday look as well. Clothes that are often inexpensive are worn, while the classic skinhead style is mostly reserved for particularly eager participants in shows. This isn't to say remnants of the old style have not stuck around. Bomber jackets are frequently used still, and suspenders are often mimicked by hanging chains from their belt. The earning of ones laces is still a thing, but these laces will often be worn on Chucks or Vans. Some skinheads will even grow some hair when outside of prison, though there are varying degrees of enforcement of the “Skinhead” portion of being a skinhead, and most youngsters have to go through it as a right of passage. Skinheads generally are into Hardcore Punk and Skate Punk music. Like Suicidal Tendencies, Bad Religion, Black Flag, and Smut Peddlers. PENI famously recruited from the SoCal Punk scene. As time evolved however, and rap became pop culture, many skinheads openly listened to and produced rap music. Skinheads often will listen to rap music, even black rap music. However, they still often encourage and staff members of local punk bands. Many will also listen to famous skinhead, “Rock Against Communism” like Skrewdriver, Brutal Attack, and Rahowa. The term Skinhead in the California prison system is synonymous with gangs like NLR, and PENI. However the way in which any individual skinhead gang operates on a day to day basis changes from gang to gang. Many of the gangs take inspiration from the Aryan Brotherhood. PENI restructured under Donald “Popeye” Mazza to have a 3 person “commission” that’d run the gang's operation in Orange County, Inland Empire, and Long Beach; though effectively Mazza would still lead the gang. Oftentimes skinhead gangs are trying to impress, and tow the Aryan Brotherhood’s line so that they can gain power in the prison system. NLR was “given the keys” by the Aryan Brotherhood, so long as they carried out their business and collected tribute, for sometime until the Fuck the Brand split in the gang. Afterwards, PENI would politic for these keys by doing the same thing, as well as an extensive group of non-incarcerated members. However, plenty of gangs don’t operate nearly on the same level as PENI or NLR. Gangs like COORS maintain a small group of active membership. Other groups might base themselves on their locality, like the San Diego Skinheads. Peckerwoods, usually being “white trash” as some say, are often found out to be from low-income areas most commonly called “ghettos” which are the same areas most gangbangers would hangout. Picking up the lingo from the community surrounding them, peckerwoods resemble the essence of what a “white gangmember” is. Many of these young guys aim to involve themselves with other Peckerwood gangs like for example, Insane White Boys (IWB), Nazi Lowriders (NLR), Family Affiliated Irish Mafia (FAIM), along with many other gangs. Peckerwoods themselves, the vast majority of the time, do not follow the same extreme ideologies like Skinheads. Most Peckerwoods are motivated by money, pushing their biases to the side for the great dollar bill. Often times Peckerwoods come up either by having friends in a gang, or by serving time in correctional facilities ranging from juvenile centers, to county jails, to prisons. Of course, Peckerwood gang members just like Skinhead gang members tend to have serious addiction issues. This addiction serves as a gateway into that criminal underworld. Peckerwoods vs. Skinheads: There is a common misconception on what separates Skinheads and Peckerwoods. Most people understand the ideological difference. That skinheads are racist by design, while peckerwoods are not motivated by hatred or ideological racism. But some struggle to see the difference in operation and culture. Peckerwoods are likely to show more pride within their city or neighborhood, as opposed to Skinheads taking more pride in their race (note: this doesn't mean skinheads wont take pride in their neighborhood; nor the opposite.) Skinheads are more militant and expect more from their members. While Peckerwoods are more loosely structured, members are still striving for the same end-goal, to profit. Being a Skinhead or a Peckerwood can heavily influence your personal interests. However, all people vary from the norm, and they will always have interests that step out of the stereotypical “Skinhead or Peckerwood” interests. Finding such interests is a key part of building an interesting character. “It is well noted that the California Peckerwoods and Aryan Brotherhood (AB) has a strong alliance with the California Surenos gangs. Initially brokered with the California Mexican Mafia and Aryan Brotherhood (AB). Strengthening their street ties and their prison gangs with their prison agendas. It's not rare to see California peckerwoods or California Aryan Brotherhood members with Latina/ Chicana girlfriends or wives and Mexican Mafia members with white girlfriends or wives.” (Sourced from Wikipedia). The idea of ranks within peckerwood gangs, just like skinheads gangs, is largely superficial and follows the same general flow as skinhead gangs. Before members are put on they are being looked at, and prepped for the gang. Then once they are put on as "Juniors", there are high expectations of them. Largely coming from a need to prove their worth and value to the gang. Then, after some time and if politicked correctly, the member transitions into a Senior member who typically has more oversight responsibilities, but are less heavily scrutinized. Peckerwood style is similar in many ways to Skinhead styles, and is very influenced by their locality. It is not unusual to see Peckerwoods rock the typical Sureno-esq style with dickies, flannels, and so on. However, Peckerwoods often are influenced more by Pop-Culture, and can be seen rocking get-ups reminiscent of predominantly Black gangs. There is often a sort of fusion of these two styles which give Peckerwoods a distinct "Gangsta" look. Peckerwood gangs are usually built from the counties they reside in. Typically they form in/around working class neighborhoods, but it is not a far reach to have membership from middle-class to upper-class neighborhoods or feeder schools (Schools with a population of upper and lower-class students.) Some major peckerwoods gangs like FAIM can be found in multiple counties, but tend to have local gangs that feed into them, or are subordinate to them. Drug Use White criminals are notorious polyaddicts. In the day and age of the opioid crisis, heroin usage is on the rise, and was already quite popular. Alcohol and weed, like in all gangs, are also widely used. Meth is typically smoked out of a glass-vaporizer pipe, known as a pookie, that contains 2 holes and an interior bowl to hold the base, rock, or whatever. White criminals tend to be 4 types of people, the people doing the drugs, the people selling the drugs, the people doing both, and the people recovering from said drug addictions. When it comes to roleplaying someone who sells drugs and does them at the same time? You are fighting a war on two fronts in making sure you make enough in your bank, and making sure you have enough drugs to use. The majority of people selling the drugs, are also doing them. Either their own supply, or outsourcing for their own supply to get their fix. Something else to touch on is the severity of using these drugs; if you roleplay doing drugs for a solid amount of time and either one, wanna stop, or two, go into the prison system. You cannot just say “alright I'm done” and stop, it’s never that easy. You will have to roleplay withdrawals, and the majority of people attempting to quit, relapse. Women in White Gangs Women are commonly used in white gangs as either mules, or buyers at private gunshows. Diving deeper into the meaning of this is basically women are used specifically to aid white gangmembers (either significant other, friend, or relative) in moving either, stolen valuables, narcotics, or firearms. Women are less likely to be searched and harassed by the police. Women are also used by white gangmembers at gunshows, they let the women go in and buy multiple firearms either with no paperwork or under their name because 80% of the time women have no criminal record. So they straw-purchase the firearm for the said gangmember. Criminal Activity in White Gangs For crimes that white gangs commit, there are different categories based upon the members that are committing said crimes. These categories depend on the type of person. These are just prime examples, this does not mean you have to follow the exact crimes, just food for thought. Strung-out-addict type crimes: -Robbing -Shorting -Burglary -Scamming -Grand Larson -Nickle and Diming (small time drug dealing) Functioning-addict type crimes: -Murder -Assault -Burglary -Fraud -Identity Theft -Robbery (higher scale) -Drug dealing (higher scale) -Theft -Trafficking -Extortion -Kidnapping -Scamming Non-addiction motivated criminal type crimes: -BnE’s (Breaking and Entering) -Armed Robbery (Stores) -Ransoms -Murder for hire (rare) -High end fraud (phone scams, phishing scams, skimming) -Identity Theft -Various other crimes… Tattoos Tattoos on white gangmembers come from different different motivations and circumstance. Many have to be earned within the gang, or the corrections system. Many more also don't have to be, and serve as a general statement of their character, or look cool. Disclaimer: This is just the general knowledge we have on their tattoos and the categories they reside in. County Letters: County letters like OC (Orange County) or CoCo (Contra Costa) are oftentimes one of the first tattoos people want to earn. Typically they’re earned by putting in work. Area Codes: Area Codes function like County Letters. Woods or Skins that want these will take the area codes of where they live. Sig-Runes aka “Bolts” aka “Bones” are a specific tattoo you earn after “getting your bones” or “putting in work”. There’s two different levels to the Bolts, the first level is getting your outlined Bolts. Which can be earned in various ways, the most common ways are, putting in work for for the car as a whole. Which means you either, attacked someone for them, muled in drugs for them, held a charge for them, or held yourself up in a riot. The next level, which is earning your Bolts fully (getting them filled in). Comes from putting in work also, but on a higher scale. Earning your filled Bolts can come from various things like, attacking another race, killing another race, or anything violent towards another race that you’re asked to do. Swastikas: In Modern time, Swastikas are usually only donned by Skinheads, very rarely will be inked on a Peckerwood. Swastikas themselves are another set of a “Pride Piece” most will get it to show their races pride. Gang tattoos: Gang tattoos like 737, PDS, FAIM, or the likes are reserved for members of those gangs. Typically members of those gangs have to put in some type of work in the prison system in order to get them tattooed, but there aren’t any firm requirements. Murals: Murals are typically big pieces that can be built up overtime. Typically these types of tattoos are going to represent what the person stands for, their life story, motivations, or beliefs in some-way. Memorial Pieces: Memorial pieces like that Matthew Donahue piece are common. These pieces will commemorate a dead loved one, be them a friend or family member. These pieces can span from small and simple to murals. Pride Pieces: Pride pieces are any tattoo that exudes racial pride. Tattoos like Skinhead, Peckerwood, White Power, White Strength, 1488, 2316, and the like. Generally people have to earn this, in some way. Mystical Norse: These are things like Runes, Thor’s Hammer, and anything else that symbolizes the Odinist religion. These are worn by skinheads. Nazi Warbird: According to Splinter of Prison POV, an incredibly trustworthy source who has never once contradicted themselves, the Nazi Warbird is a "high power" tattoo. Meaning that typically, only people who are well respected within the corrections system have them. Feeder Gangs and Growth “If you're climbing the ladder of life, you go rung by rung.” A feeder gang is a group that is overseen and actively recruited from by larger groups. In life you normally don’t start with everything handed to you, you have to earn it. This is the same way progression can be seen within every form of white gangs. You have to earn your name and most importantly you have to exceed exceptions already set by members within your own group or outsiders. All white gangsters have started at the lowest rung, to understand a group’s or an individual's rise to power we look to how groups interact. The first clear step is the person being a criminal to enable their own behavior (An example being selling fake concert tickets to afford paying rent due to the individual being unable to hold down a normal job.). Once a person has crossed that barrier “strength in a pack” kicks into effect. If you only have yourself, no one is going to be able to watch your back. The next step is including people that your character trusts to get in on the dirty deeds. This stage is centered around a group completing a task for the good of the group. If a group of guys can sell a pack of dope faster then one and they all get to keep a good cut, why would you not include your own friends. The next stage develops very quickly, this stage is the building of a name for your group and the group’s leader. For white roleplay this differs heavily from black or Sureno rp, you aren’t repping a street you’re repping your values (money by any act) or in the case of skinheads you’re representing your race. For youths a “Smashing Crew” is a tight knit group whose crimes tend to be more violent and outwardly hostile. These small-time thugs rob, assault and rip off other criminals for the betterment of the group. Once the small time clique or small gang is established they want to expand their own group or move up into the middle level of the criminal underworld. These groups expand into the middle level groups or join a makeshift “association” to assist in their dealings. The bigger the range, the bigger the gang. The obvious final step is having your group tightly knit to the Aryan Brotherhood. This final step is an ever evolving process due to the legal system within the real world, big gangs fail to due how brazen they are and new groups have to form to duck legal heat. Prison/County Jail California Correctional Facilities are extremely divided by race. Desegregation led itself to self segregation. The prison system is the pinnacle of racist ideologies, none the less, money is still a similar goal no matter who you are. When you first arrive to a facility, you are going to be separated based on risk and segregated based on your sentencing. Not to get into the depth of the system fully, but the basics are put out like this. The Whites and Southern Mexicans (Surenos) are allied. Opposing to them are the Northern Mexicans (Nortenos) and Blacks. Everyone else fits into smaller "Other" cars that ally based on necessity. You must not affiliate, hangout, or associate with people that are from an “enemy” section, or even from the neutral section. You are required to program with your own. You must not disobey orders given by your car. Everything is set up politically and organized. Juveniles are separated within their own facility. There are keyholders, they can hold for a pod, a yard, a module, or an entire facility. That will be the person you are reporting to for your race almost every time, or someone that is appointed by said keyholder. Overall, getting in touch with Prison/County roleplay is an important part of White roleplay as a whole. The Aryan Brotherhood The California Aryan Brotherhood has a multi-tiered system of membership. At the very top lies the commission, of which there are 3 members, one of whom is the head of that commission. The Head of Commission in practice tends to lead the whole group, but in theory, all 3 members have a say. Below that lays the Council, which comprises a variety of members that are tasked with making sure the Commission’s orders are carried out. Below that are a variety of different keyholders for prison yards, modules, facilities, and the like. Typically the keys for any given facility are going to be given out based on expediency. Given the nature of their gang status, membership tends to be concentrated within a few, high-level facilities. So a member being moved to a yard where there isn’t a member is going to be expected to keep that yard in order, and oftentimes run it themselves. Between regular membership, there is a distinction between junior and senior members. Senior members, traditionally but not always, have killed someone for the Aryan Brotherhood, and thus “earned their rock.” Senior members are given more leeway when it comes to throwing their dick around on any given yard, while young members are going to have higher-expectations placed on them. Many members are given a particular task by the commission, and these members will utilize a series of “associates” that aren’t members of the Aryan Brotherhood yet. These tasks can range from cooking dope to collecting tax. Associates oftentimes carry the sway of the member they work for, but can fall out of good standing as soon as it's in that Brother’s convenience. The Aryan Brotherhood in function controls the white prison population through a series of gang alliances, seniority, and brutality. The Prison and gangs give a steady source of income to the Brotherhood, as drugs and other businesses are made to pay tribute. Usually around ⅓ of whatever it is. Individual members, with the help of associates, also utilize the structure as a piggy-bank to sell their own drugs. For example, Head of Commission Ronnie Yandell used associates Matt “Cyco” Hall and Jenna Quesenberry to run and sell dope in the Sacramento and Bay Area. The Brotherhood encourages this, though typically individual or small groups of members will work on any given drug trafficking operation, rather than the organization as a whole. Inside of prison members are typically divided between SHU facilities like Pelican Bay, and high-level facilities. It's rare that there is membership within the Jail, or low-level system, though not unheard of. If members do hit lower-level facilities, they’re usually expected to help extend the Brotherhood’s reach onto those yards. Members on high level yards are usually in some position of power, or are assisting someone who is. Many members however, are doing 23 and 1 in the SHU. They communicate through kites, signing, smuggled phones, and more. Often when people go to the SHU for a brief stay, they’re expected to bring news in, and take news out. SHU’s recently have been getting depopulated, as permanent SHU status based on gang affiliation was deemed unconstitutional in Ashker v. Governor of California. This caused the system to consider behavior, and opened the door for many validated gang members including the AB to enter Gen-Pop yards again. These yards are often still level 2-3 yards. However, people considered security threats are kept in; usually meaning those that ended up there for committing a murder in furtherance of the gang. While the SHU is interesting to write about, it is not so much fun to RP. The nature of isolation tends to make it not so fun. Outside members of the Aryan Brotherhood are also rare, but again, not unheard of. When on the outside these members are still expected to put in work for the gang, and since its rare for a Brother to be free they are usually put to task by the commission to sell dope or collect tribute. Any crime that they need will be done. Naturally though, these members tend to be more flush with cash and carry a great deal of respect for their role. There are not many dumb members of the Aryan Brotherhood. By nature, the Aryan Brotherhood recruits people only if they’re of a significant benefit to the group. Much of the time that means that they have to be both capable of dealing out brutal violence, and at leading an effective organization. Members like Travis Burhop were recruited not so much for their violent actions, but because they were able to make loads of money. Though on the other side, some members are inducted for their ability and willingness in carrying out murders, and executions, these members however are likely to reach a dead end if they aren’t capable of navigating the gang’s politics. Members are usually expected to keep a regimented program, and read books like The Art of War, The Prince, and anything else that could give them an edge in the prison system’s mindgame. Generally, members are expected to conduct themselves in a way that people have good things to say about them. Conduct their business well, keep their word, pay their debts, treat people with respect, and get down when need be. However, depending on the member’s standing with the commission the rules can get bent. If someone is paying more than everyone else combined, they aren’t likely to ask many questions. Money always comes before everything. While most members hold racist beliefs thanks to the gang’s nature in controlling White Criminals, some like Ronnie Yandell have put those aside in order to work in the benefit of all groups. Like the 2013 Hunger Strike which was organized between Surenos, Nortenos, Blacks, and Whites thanks to his involvement. Just like skinheads, they will put racial politics to the side if it is in their best interest. Many members of the Aryan Brotherhood have some foundational belief on which they base their membership. There are members that view it as gangster. Some members consider themselves like good old fashion wise-guys. Many of the founders saw themselves as modern day outlaws, and other as modern day Vikings. A fair few however have no particular ideology, and are there for access to money and power. Summary Overall, with this guide we had the sole intent to put it together to inform any/all players about White gang RP. People that are going to see it, and people that are willing to participate in it. Giving this guide a read should most definitely clear a lot of your questions up and/or teach you things you never knew. I hope all of you enjoyed the guide and if there's anything anyone would like to add, let us know. We are still learning new stuff to this day, so any information would be helpful, thank you.

  2. Modifying rule nine to include suicide should be implemented due to the sheer amount of suicide RP that seemingly exists on this server. When I had first joined ULSA years ago, we had such a bad problem with suicide that the faction itself had to ban even the discussion of it because people were roleplaying it like it was Degrassi High, while I've noticed a decline in my years playing here. I am frankly sick and fucking tired of seeing Suicide RP broadcasted like we're in a movie and I guarantee there's not a single roleplayer, besides the people who do this shit that find this acceptable. I have stopped using platforms like Facebrowser because of it, I am tired of people using Facebrowser as a platform to write bullshit "woe is me" posts pretending to be their character's parents and trying to desensitize a very serious issue among teenagers and young adults today. I think Suicide is an offensive role-play and posting about it on facebrowser is subjecting everyone to possible triggers, panic attacks and putting their thought process in a disgusting place if they have trauma surrounding it and while I could forum report every person who does it (And I would be glad to). I would rather see this rule amended so that I don't have to see this disgusting, awful avenue that some people think is good portrayal. I am fine with people killing their characters, I don't care if your character wants to commit suicide but setting up an entire dragged out depress-fest on Facebrowser just shouldn't be a fucking thing. If you have solid roleplay behind it, sure - go for it. But don't make it theatrical, don't publicize and broadcast it. People don't want to see that shit.

  3. The Rollin 20 Neighborhood Bloods also known as Dove gang is a Los Santos street gang in Chamberlin Hills, Forum Drive. The gang is known for being one of the biggest blood sets in Los Santos feuding with most if not all 2x Crip gangs and some Hoover gangs. Being a mostly exclusive African-American street gang many rivalries would get in between the Rollin 20 Neighborhood Bloods and Mexican street gangs as the older generation would feud with a-lot of Mexican-American street gangs like the S/S Playboys 13, W/S Harpys 13, Rivas 13, Tortilla Flats 13 old and new generation, and more. In the late 50's the gang was controlled by another gang known as "Blood-Alley" as a surge happened in the 70's the members started to claim "Neighborhood Bloods" from "Neighborhood" getting the name Rollin 20 Neighborhood Bloods. World L.S.Politics L.S.Business Opinion Tech Science Health Sports Arts Books Style Food Travel Magazine Magazine Real Estate Video On July eighteenth a well-known associate from the Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods had a warrant out for his arrest for Drug Trafficking and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Abel "Terror" Bronston's properties were all raided by the Los Santos Police Department as they issued a search warrant and started kicking doors down. Finding many handguns along with a shotgun and one hundred grams of narcotics in the Forum Drive properties. Two months pass by and Abel was still not caught until he and two affiliates from the Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods were pulled over, as the officer put Abel's ID in the system he saw that there was an active warrant out for his arrest. Abel peeled off only later to get in a chase and surrender at "Death-Alley" in Chamberlain Hills. PRESENT-DAY The gentrification of Chamberlain Hills began in the late ‘90s and targeted the lower-income African-American neighborhoods of South Los Santos. The rich culture and history of the area were replaced by tourist traps and million-dollar homes. This process was aided by gang injunctions targeting Rollin' 20s and their Black and Hispanic rivals, but it wasn't just gang members who suffered, as their families and neighbors were often impacted too. Rent, housing prices, and the cost of living began to spike, causing many lower-income families to move across the city to more affordable are South and East Los Santos. This ultimately resulted in the remaining gangs having fewer young people to influence and recruit into their ranks. Tensions were on the rise between neighboring street gangs, with more violent crimes being reported throughout the ‘00s. Members of gangs were being incarcerated or killed in rival shootings, including Ignacio “Spike” Atenas, a high-ranking member of Rollin 20s who was believed to be shot and killed by rival Crips at a party in ‘08. One important rivalry was with the local Crips, which left many dead on both sides. But when both gangs were suffering from gang injunctions, crackdowns, and gentrification, they declared a cease-fire and started to grow closer together to survive the changing situation in Roy Lowenstein. The two gangs now share a hood day on the 2nd Saturday of June. Locals say that Rollin's 20s are like the old Davis haunting the new Davis. Writers have called it "a nasty hive of evil surrounded by the most expensive real estate in San Andreas". You can find them in the dead-end alleys off Chamberlain Hills and the run-down areas between Forum Drive and Strawberry Avenue. One journalist suggested gentrification will never completely kill the old Davis, claiming "the gunplay is as much a part of life in Davis as Pitbull's at the local dog park". Older generations did not welcome the changes of gentrification, but the surviving members of Rollin 20s know they have to adapt and change with the times. The young drug dealers of the Rollin 20s gang, know rich people have expensive tastes. The arrival of tourists and rich people has boosted their sales tremendously, with gang members often selling drugs along the boardwalk. And if you're on a yacht doing lines with a high-powered lawyer, he probably got that from Rollin's 20s. Rollin 20s originated back in the 1970s, under a small group of African-Americans to protect the local black demographic within the area. It has been an ongoing battle over the years due to the high presence of African-American gangs that reside within close limits of Rollin 20s neighborhood. In the late 1970s, Rollin 20s came under the blood nation which signifies an alliance with the Black Car and most blood sets. This alliance helped Rollin 20s to grow into a ruthless street gang that lifted a heavy presence and fear to those other gangs that were located in the southern area of Los Santos. OOC INFO The faction aims to portray a realistic African-American street gang that is part of the Rollin 20 Neighborhood Bloods. Above everything, we emphasize character development and portrayal. If your character intends to join and is associated to one or more people from the faction, leadership retains the rights to CK your character at their IC discretion at any point in time. This faction enforces a high standard of roleplay and ensures that server rules are followed. If you're looking for a typical DM shooter faction, keep looking. Any inquiries or joining or regarding the faction can be sent through to us. Our goal is to accurately depict a modern-day Blood gang in Chamberlain Hills (based on the real life Rollin 20s) struggling to re-establish itself after losing most of its members and cliques. While our goal is to portray this concept as realistically as possible, there will be hints of fiction throughout. This project will have an equal focus on the street gang and its illicit activities, as well as the community and the day-to-day life of a African-American growing up surrounded by gentrification. We value community roleplay and an atmosphere heavily influenced by Chicano culture, so we also value characters who aren't full gang members or in supportive roles. We highly encourage those who wish to roleplay with us to also take some time to research the culture. If this faction interests you, then feel free to create a character and start roleplaying around us in Chamberlain. All walks of life will be welcomed, but for those looking to join the faction as a gang member and progress through the gang, you must roleplay as a African-American teenager no older than 16. Male characters will have an easier time getting involved, but female characters (especially friends/family/girlfriends) play important roles in Blood gangs. For those looking to join the faction as a more community-driven local character, with no intentions of joining the gang, your options are much more diverse. However, we still encourage a African-American character but this will definitely not be forced for these types of characters as all walks of life will be welcomed, as long as the character fits in well. Street gangs have deep roots in their communities and gang members aren't the only people involved in these stories. Do not hesitate to reach out if you’re stuck, and need advice for a new character. As said above, all characters will be considered and we will be happy to head out your thoughts and offer suggestions. We have a solid understanding of this concept, and enough information to assist you with creating something special. We are more than happy to discuss concerns, suggestions, discrepancies, or portrayal issues in DMs. If you feel that you may have sources that we would benefit from looking into then feel free to send them our way and we can spread it out to the rest of the members. We’re all here to have a good time at the end of the day. Any questions or concerns DM us here @FYB Folkand @Bunji.

  13. OOC Information: We aim to portray a fictional, but realistic Wah Ching set operating off the Little Seoul neighborhood. While most of Wah Ching's members are Chinese and Vietnamese, other nationalities such as Korean, Cambodian and other East/Southeast Asian nationalities are also open for recruitment, as long as it is within reason. Aspiring characters should be working-class youth in their late teens or early twenties, from the neighborhood of Little Seoul. Character development and a sense of community is key and we will prioritize and promote these aspects to ensure a high standard of roleplay. Contact: PrinceCane.#5380, miguh#8754 or liq#1328 for any questions regarding to the thread and concept. Feel free to DM the thread holder on forums.

  15. I will also be making a FB post saying that I am my parent/close friend and I just logged in to make a PSA for all the people that don't give a fuck that you decided to NC because the ERP got stale and will be rerolling the same character, same concept just with a new edgier french name. Ban this type of roleplay, it's done exclusively by misinformed angsty grown-ass men seeking attention in a fake facebook platform. Keep it to your close RP circle, because if they don't care, neither will we.
