  1. It is insane that this discussion is being argued. Fictional pedophilia is still pedophilia.

  2. Absolutely not, that would ruin gang RP. Edit: Being able to handle minors is a huge part of being a police officers. It's good that you are uncomfortable with using deadly force against kids, I wish more were.

  3. I'm currently role-playing a character who's a technophobe. He doesn't know smartphones and doesn't want to, he prefers older technology as that's what he's used to. So I was a little disappointed when I arrived at the bank and was told I'd need a smartphone to /banktransfer. It's a small oversight but I'd appreciate if this functionality was allowed to do at the bank. As it should. Thanks!

  8. I will lock this as it's already about to take a weird turn down a path nobody would want to go.

  9. Legal or illegal, it doesn't matter. The server rules forbid it. Forbidding players to RP under 18 will not happen because, as mentioned before, minors play a major role in a lot of types of factions.

  10. You guys are kind of wilin' at this point. Fictional pedophilia is illegal under federal US law. I have no problem with child characters in this game being hurt/killed, and there's no law against fictional non-sexual violence against children, but NO type of sexual interaction should happen involving child characters. It is an actual crime and it will get you actual jailtime and land you on an actual list. Stop.

  11. Roleplay is meant to portray real life at least on this server in some capacity. Worse things happen in real life that are against the rules in this server or at least requires the other parties consent. If you are in Law Enforcement in real life then you should be more knowledgeble to the things going in real life in terms of gangs and other "horrors" of the world.

  12. Having an RP server without minors would be shit, to put it bluntly. If you do not feel comfortable RPing with a minor when it comes to searching you can like stated above "NPC it if it's a problem as long as the party agrees". As in terms of shooting, a lot of minors do get shot in both gang and police shootings. Pedophilia, torture, and rape are all things that need OOC consent from all parties involved, so if you do not wish to RP that you do not need to. To sum it up simply, like @Vindus above.

  13. I'm looking to start a fishing business and simply adding fishing checkpoints in large bodies of water would really allow this to happen. I think the Tug is the perfect fishing boat for a crew. If Tug boats were the only boat that could carry fish then this would really make fishing businesses realistic as well as not overpowered by people in fast boats. It would really suck having to drive back to shore each time everyone's bags fill up. Would also be cool to have larger/better fish be caught in places like the ocean.

  14. Hi! This is my new character Kaylee Hill, an LSPD academy student that's recently moved back to Los Santos from her beloved Ludendorff. Trying to follow in her brothers, Anthony Hill, foot-steps as a Law Enforcement Officer - this will be her origin story and continue throughout her career/role-play life! Tried to aim for something a little different as I'm not great at writing super long paragraphs. Hope you like it! Just a minor thing, certain things will be cut out as I don't want to potentially leak any LSPD things that may be against the rules. Call-signs, ranks and sensitive information will -never- be part of this. So any call-sign you see has been made up for the sake of the story. Everything during her LSPD career will be true-to-life to the RP that happened (I work off of screenshots and such to recreate the role-play) but certain aspects will change to protect the LSPD documentations that are not available to non-officers. Hope you understand! And just to confirm, I am going for a super cheesy / Max Payne comic panel kinda vibe so please expect some super corny lines, lmao!

  15. Registration to participate in the inmate forums is open on the faction forum. If you're interested in roleplaying long-term sentences or as a prison gangmember, we'd love to hear your opinions.

  17. I don’t think it needs its own rule, it comes under powergaming and if you see someone swimming like a demigod without the penalties of extra weight from wet gear and cold water, it’s best to report them. Resorting to jumping in the water is either poor character decision making or they’re just playing to win.
