  1. Nothing of value is going to be lost by not having people randomly walking into businesses with masks. If one thing was going to be addressed (unless that is already) it should be that.
  2. I don't due to that reason and it isn't even certain areas. It'll even do it on completely straight roads. I simply pointed out yet another reason why it is silly to add a system penalizing vehicle damage while simultaneously having a long list of issues with no fixes in sight and at the end of the day latency will never be fixed. Hence why I say, on top of. Do you hear yourself though? You are saying to not use a feature that was added onto the server. Do you hear that said for products in real life where its listed within their approved uses? Another since it wasn't said would be floating objects left behind by animations. They are cinder blocks. So I'll say again idk why people pretend like those aren't frequent issues. Unless your next retort is gonna be 'yeah man then maybe don't play the server' or 'yeah man maybe you all should move to Western Europe' that isn't resolving the rest of the problems listed on the other 8 pages or the others that could be listed in addition to those.
  3. On top of bugs auto pilot also tends to crash into stuff. Idk why people pretend like these aren't frequent issues.
  4. My issues with gun licenses in general are that it relies on tedium and nitpicking rather than making an efficient streamlined process. Almost all of the government applications on this server follow that. They rely on forum formats rather than using fields a lot of the time. They have people that nitpick over things like a double space for example or a formatting issue rather than critiquing the actual information provided. None of that contributes to real quality control or roleplay. It is bureaucracy for the sake of bureaucracy. It would be better to address those issues. If people want things to be more regulated it should be in the form of things that actually create roleplay. For good justification I also don't think that's necessary. You either are following the regulations or you aren't. It should be that simple. There shouldn't be arbitrary rules or approvals. In real life those aren't an example of good gun control. Those rules in fact are just remnants of Jim Crow era policies to stop minorities from having guns. If people want to reference real life perhaps they should reference that the direction that government agencies areshifting as a whole toward application processes/questionaires being streamlined so they aren't a sink of manhours, resource and just a source of confusion that benefits no one. It'd also be great not having to register on multiple sites in general. More things on this server should just be integrated by relying on your UCP information or forum information. Less time being spent on all of that is time that can instead be put into actual roleplay or in creating content showcasing roleplay.
  5. People have a habit of spamming follower/friend requests like they're catfish bots. For those of us who think this is weird it'd be nice to have follower settings be able to require approval like how friend requests work.
  6. Detailed Description Headlamps at the moment aren't automatic. Every time you get in they have to be turned on. It would make more sense and be less tedious to just have them come on automatically if it is X hour of the day. Then if the player wants to turn the lights off they'd have to do it themselves, making it a conscious choice on their part. Relevant Commands/Items N/A How will it benefit the server? It would be less tedious for players. It would also have less people being pulled over for what I'd argue is probably a 99% chance the person OOCly didn't realize their lights weren't on. It would also be more realistic. Even my 1998 S10 ZR2 had automatic headlamps. Not the most important thing in the world but it sure is annoying.
  7. I truthfully couldn't care as long as its not involving minors IC/OOC for any type of erp and its not in /ad. 99% of erp stuff is avoidable if you just don't go around those people and you don't accept every friend request on FB that comes your way if you don't like their menyoos. That seems to work for me. People acting edgy and trolly all the time are by far the biggest problem on the server in terms of what players do.
  8. No because: 1) It isn't an actual auction and you aren't paying any expense for putting it there. There is no auctioneer or website getting a piece of your assets. 2) Bids are withdrawn for valid reasons. A person may not want to move there anymore. They may come to find out that the pictures that were taken were misleading. A myriad of reasons. The housing market is already ridden with greed and people price gouging their properties don't need more money.
  9. People do use the mountain bikes though for what you said o.o. The fact just is it don't make sense to use them for just commutting around the city when the tread isn't made for that. It's like buying a 4x4 truck with a 3" lift kit and mud bogging tires then you only use it to run errands. It don't make much sense either for kids in the ghetto to be using racing bikes either which are supposed to be cream of the crop. The bmx is essentially a catch all for all normal bikes. The cruiser is literally good at nothing therefore no one wants it unless they liked the look of it. If there were more normal looking bikes that weren't a mountain bike or racing bike you would see people buy those more. But yeah you're right, they're not underrated. They'd be used more also if it was easier to RP on them rather than tap tap tap then RP in bursts. OT: I like the Raider truck. It's pretty nice functionally and the bug with extras that all trucks have isn't as apparent on it cause they're only minor tweaks so they still look natural. The downside to it is ofc two seats but it visually has four. If all the nice coupe cars/trucks that actually got four seats got scripted to support those it'd be way more common for sure since it's not too over the top.
  10. On GTAO you can have your face however you want and it'll never clip the mask.
  11. People that max zoom cameras to have eagle vision are idiots. I see both cops and criminals abuse this and I lose brain cells everytime. Huge p2w mentality. I'm surprised nothing is done about that considering it's abused fairly often.
  12. Bring them back. Bandaid fixing problems by removing clothes doesn't address poor character portrayals. The only clothes that should be blacklisted are ones that cause balance issues and should still be attainable with special permission. Ex: An approved illegal scheme being a reason to be allowed limited time use of a uniform. t. has never worn cat ears.
  13. I don't mind the guns on FB and so on. The unimmersive thing on there is usually people act OOC on it, like they are edgy teenagers on a discord. Which would be fine if they were RPing those in game but usually not the case, its just poor portrayal on the part of a lot of those people. Add on if you don't use Menyoo that gets taken IC too which is weird. I can say I'm not at all sad about seeing some posts go from people wearing g strings and big tit mods that change the clothes textures to the point the nipples are barely covered and the shirt looks like a raggedy used dish rag.
  14. I think adding too much depth when the upgrades themselves aren't diverse would be bad. Add on that people do actually want to see what their stuff will look like on the menu... Idk how that convenience is forgotten. It is better to actually see what it will look like in game than trying to look at a video on youtube. I don't mind there being an illegal market for upgrades so that people can get them but it shouldn't be broken down into a ridiculous amount of stuff that will just make a lot of it worthless. The simpler solution is to make catch-all categories for all vehicle types. Exhausts, spoilers, etc. Having "2000" different unique names isn't going to do anything for anyone. Just let people roleplay the specifics and that'd fix that. I don't really care about the arrest aspect. I care about convenience of being able to actually see what the mod will look like with what's currently on the car because it's a video game and I'm limited by the game engine enough already in what can be done. Definitely don't need that aspect to be made worse by limiting it further. Esp when you take into account that the mod cars aren't as easy to look up for what can be changed on them as vanilla cars. Pricing should depend more on the car types. It sucks having to spend the same on a cheap car as an expensive one and the lack of the illegal market or second hand parts makes it impossible to really do any flipping unless you're just buying low, changing nothing, selling high. There's no fix er up roleplay that is possible because there's no way to lower your investment to where it is viable. I will also say that years ago when ya'll went and made the mechanic system require donator to show a blip that hurt mechanics as well. So that too would actually encourage opening them more. The donator system is awful. Not account wide. Does not apply to employees opening your businesses. Its inconvenient as hell and always has been. That made me drop being a mechanic entirely back then when I took all that into account. When that feature quality isn't good and it's made worse it don't encourage donations. Go figure, a lot of garages died off in activity overtime after that period when before it was very competitive.
  15. If it has call forwarding, sure/transfer ability then sure. Otherwise, it's not very useful.
  16. Well one thing that is easily fixable is stop capping the chop shops at a low number, several of which are not active. Another would be removing the vehicles that have 0 parts and don't make sense to be stolen anyways: bicycles and police cars.
  17. those masks predate covid and they can also be rp'd as dust masks anyways. nothing wrong here. people could say those responses before covid as well. I wouldn't even call it a meta considering it's not even common.
  18. The issue isn't case by case denials 100%. It's forcing an admin to intervene which is making the situation go toward escalating or forcing a wait. Wait times are horrible a lot of the time and there is zero communication whatsoever from staff's end. There is no queue number that players can see. There are no progress updates saying 'hey we're looking into it and will get back to you'. The necessity of having to get an admin involved just to void does not encourage people to resolve things themselves. Overall it's bad customer service and considering how server features are heavily tied into paying for a service (furniture/businesses) to be on the same playing field as other players... That is horrible. That's my perspective working a CS job. End result is even if both players are wanting to void, they are still potentially waiting anywhere from 1 minute to twenty minutes and upwards to never getting a response. It would be like at my job if I absolutely had to get a supervisor to clear every single situation I handle instead of just fixing it with the person. The way things are now just ups queue times and makes existing problems worse. The messed up thing is a lot of these issues are easily fixable.
  19. There is because this server has a silly rule of where players can't void situations amongst themselves. Thus limiting what players can do and can't do because they can be punished for it. So, the server administration is making it go that direction by forcing an escalation.
  20. If both parties agree to void an rp it should be fine. The server rule about voiding is silly. Fact is sometimes shit happens and mature players are perfectly capable of resolving things themselves.
  21. I'd like a mix of residential/business for the Davis mall area instead. Mirror park houses being finished should be just like just all the other houses that are pending construction. Both are not absolutely needed though because the bigger problem is there's not enough houses in the county and a lot of what there is are run down dumps that're overpriced by the greedy.
  22. I feel this would be unbalanced. Instead, businesses that want to diversify could be setting up receiving from other businesses. It discourages an aspect of RP that is already neglected. The need to work with others. So for example, I know a club that gives lolipops to people. They get some occasional shipping of said lolipops from a candy shop, fairly niche business. If the club could just outright set up a candy shop in their night club it isn't encouraging anyone to visit the niche business they're instead going to be encouraged to visit. You can argue it is a different atmosphere but at the end of the day, it is very clear what types of businesses flourish on the server. A dealership selling food isn't needed, they could just do catering with another group. With that being said, catering itself needs more scripted support. In the past I've seen/had to do that in advance. Point being though, I don't feel like giving businesses less reason to go outside of their circle as a good thing.
