The culture of reporting on this server

Just so I get that right...

You make a list of rather minor things that are very easily ignored/overlooked, as "triggering" and impossibly enraging. But "the others" are the snowflakes. Did I understand properly or uh...?

Your comment is exactly what I mean. No argument, nullify actual issues by using terms such as " easily Ignored/overlooked", and reading between the line missing the whole point. So to answer you in short, Yeah. You got understood that properly.
Edit: I don't know who you mean by saying "the others", but allow me to assume that you mean the players who do the things i mentioned in my previous comment.

Personally I'd like to report everyone for doing stupid shit. A random thot in a decent caffee taking off her shoes and while also being dressed as a cheap escort is more annoying to me than a usual Deathmatch case. The "thot" case was just one of the many immersion breaking dumb shit that people do. Hell, I'd even report the people who are desperate for roleplay, and instead of following an organic way of starting a conversation, they suddenly start talking to you as if you know them from ages. But hey, If I report that, snowflakes will cry. It might look harmless, but it's really triggering when you see everyone doing unrealistic human behavior that is not supported by human logic.

Yes, someone dressed too skimpily and barefoot in a nice cafe is more immersion breaking than tripping on corpses every other time you go to a club. People dressed "inappropriately" for a given setting is something I've never encountered in RL, whereas the second is totally normal, and happens all the time in the favela where I live.

This right there.

Allow me to quote your comment for this, I'm not sure if the "stepping on corpses every day in the favela" part is real or meant as a joke, but regardless if it's real or not, I think this demonstrates either way that while we're all playing together as one single english-speaking community, the things we personally deem realistic or immersive fundamentally are subjective.

We all live in different countries with different cultures. Someone living in the deep countryside somewhere in eastern europe for example will not be experiencing the same things as a metropolitan citizen living in the UK. So far so good, all makes sense.

The point is, whether we like it or not, we're all self-inserting in a way or another in this game based on what we've personally experienced, sub-consciously or not.

What does that mean? No matter how much we think we might know about the US, we still are not US citizens residing in the US experiencing the daily life that they might experience. Let's not forget that this also applies to the US itself, because it's naturally big and is separated by states. People living in Idaho are not going to be acting, living and speaking the same as people who live in Florida.

But in the end, none of this really matters. GTA W is a server with it's own respective lore and Los Santos and its county are fictional. We cannot apply and enforce specific ways of life on players in a fictional US state and city when it's being played by people living in different countries with equally different ideas of what life could be there.

You're not giving enough credit to details which make roleplayers from the below average "no home, no money, just a racecar" to good roleplayers, and comparing it to blatant DM or the fact that almost every remaining club owner is affiliated with a crime group, which speaking off, reach their peak as club owners from 60s, instead of  going corporate.

Edit: In GTAW we have 2-3 huge groups of stereotypes that are undenaibly bad at roleplay, or refuse to put the effort in Heavy RP. So unless you're part of such groups or just blind to this femonemon you would understand what I'm talking about.

Some players need to be reported so that a note is made on their record as they constantly rulebreak, ruin the roleplay environment for other players and continue the same repetitive behavior over and over until they eventually get banned. If we don't report anyone, nothing will get done and the server will turn into a DM server full of trolls. We're supposed to be acting as if this was real life yet players continuously act as if this is gta online.

Regarding the "random assaults", yes I agree although it's situational. You aren't gonna' see a korean kid go around looking for someone that runs with a biker gang and then run up to them and punch them in front of the large group, it's highly unrealistic and never would happen in real life unless the kid had a mental disability or was completely under the influence. No one in their sober mind would do more than half of the assaults that happen on the server in real life and that's the reason why players like myself forum report those, because we're supposed to keep the continuity up to par.

" It is mandatory to RP fear in situations/actions which you would usually refrain from doing realistically. Repercussions of your characters actions must always be considered, situations which result in death due to a lack of fear RP may result in a CK.

Could've not said it better. This is what I want to see as well. Right now it feels like those VR chatrooms with catgirls.

You’re one of the worst offenders, reports like the last two you’ve put up are the sole reason for this thread.

I don't understand why people resort to quoting others and trying to make others change their minds, or make fun of the issues THEY bring. I leave a comment with issues that trouble ME, and I get 5 replies telling ME that they're not issues. It honestly feels like when in another game a Bronze player is trying to explain the game to a Diamond player. Sometimes is just out of your comprehensive range and it turns into a delusion. Stop trying to change others people's minds about issues that they bring. Instead learn how to communicate and either bring solutions, suggestions and make an argument. Sarcasm on the internet is just a delusional boost to your ego...it doesn't really work on others, as no one really cares.
