  1. This is a very interesting idea - I like that people haven't focused on having classes but instead having the experience be more about 'college' life than college work. One of my favourite things about the illegal role-players is that certain areas function like communities, with the Armenians in Morningwood and the Koreans in Little Seoul. I think, with this, we could see a somewhat 'organic' legal community that kind of functions by itself separately from the rest of the Los Santos County. I think if this could be organised to a point where there's systems, Discords and literature written about the factions purpose, goals and current interest it could result in something really interesting down the line.

  4. "The news has always shown war zones as far-away lands - nestled away from our lives, far from the glamour of Vinewood, the parties in Hawick, the business in The Hill. The harsh reality that was proven tonight was that it only takes a single spark to set the flame burning in a community alight." Elizabeth Rankin.

  6. The Protests Continue Elizabeth Rankin The protests against police brutality in South Central Los Santos continue on for another day, as shots continue to ring out of Davis. Shots fired, civilians down, orders barked, chaos ensued. A calm evening for peaceful protests and paying respect to their dead was defeated by the Los Santos County Sheriffs Department, who gradually escalated the situation until a response arrived from the Los Santos Police Department to take control of the situation. What was initially a calm situation under careful control once again hit boiling point as beanbag rounds were fired into the crowd, with a round almost hitting clearly-marked journalists attending the scene. The desires from organisers to hold a peaceful protest went unheard - as sheriffs from the department ordered people to leave the vicinity, attacking those that didn't with beanbag rounds and batons, and blocking the view of injured civilians from our cameras with their bodies. The protesters attempted to show reason many times, with several protesters allowing fire department personnel to travel in and out of the restricted areas, a courtesy not shown by the Sheriffs Department. LSNN was unable to report further past this point due to our news van and camera being attacked in the tension. Deputy Sheriffs block our view of a civilian injured by the Los Santos County Sheriffs Department, with protesters raising their hands in the foreground. Earlier today, and contrary to the events witnessed by LSNN tonight, the Los Santos County Sheriffs Department released the following statement. Despite this statement, it appeared that the issues mentioned in the Sheriffs statement were institutionalised in the department, with several displays of unjustifiable police brutality occurring once again. LSNN received several anonymous tips that the initial protests yesterday erupted after an altercation in which a Deputy Sheriff referred to a member of the community with the 'N-word'. Prompting the start of the riots, however, this is still unconfirmed at this time. Recently, the Los Santos Police Department issued the following statement. A dark storm is forming around us. 7. Fabulous character, what a pleasure it was to stumble upon her.
  8. This is interesting to me as the riots highlighted the issues of miscommunication (especially between PD and SD) and poor training/resources, do the IC ramifications of that not excite you? What could this lead to, and how can it change the LSPD/LSSD? Whatever one may think of the original incident, the fallout is certainly going to be exciting and I can't wait to see what happens next. I don't even particularly think it was a poor escalation considering the socio-ecomomic dynamics, wars have started over less.
  9. Speaking personally, I don't see a version of this that means that California can exist. Los Santos was based off of Los Angeles, LSPD/LSSD are both based directly on LAPD/LASD, our faction and city culture and subcultures are based off of LA. I understand why people are hesitant about this, but honestly it's better to simulate California as replaced by San Andreas state. If we're sticking to Rockstar lore, California does not exist.
  10. I see the benefits of this, I think, if we were able to build something from scratch with the playerbase we have and the expertise we now have, a lot of things could work better or begin from a more immersive point so to speak. In addition, it'll allow us to perhaps rebalance parts of the economy that could use with an overhaul not permitted in the current climate. However, the issue brought up by many here comes to play, how many people would be willing to come back in that event? How many would just leave and start anew elsewhere? Overall, I believe this may be a significant roadblock to this and render the original intention moot.

  12. Have you tried asking in the RageMP Discord? My knowledge of RAGE issues is limited unfortunately but that would be the best place to go.
  13. Which RAGE launcher is showing up? Please post a screenshot. Where did you get the game from?
  14. Delete your config.xml file in the RageMP root folder then run updater.exe

  16. This is the best day of my life.
  17. One of the things I think are missing are more 'everyday' clothes for female characters. Clothing seems to be quite 'explicit' or to be something that would realistically be difficult/inconvenient to wear as normal, everyday, boring old clothes - this is more prominent in hair (although, per instructions, I haven't listed these), I've found some mods to help rectify this and I consider these to be somewhat 'must-haves' moving forward. Going to tag @kilerbite as I'm sure they have some good ideas of their own. https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/mp-female-clothing-mini-pack-1-0 (One of the best) https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/sweater-pack-for-mp-female https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/executive-assistant-jeans-for-mp-female (Needed mostly for black jeans - currently we don't have any excl. some with poor detailing from base game) https://newmods.net/gta-5-summer-dress-for-mp-female-1-0/ https://gtaland.net/gta-5-mods/gta-5-skins/mp-female-clothes-v-1.html (Maybe some in here - not sure as I haven't looked at the texture files myself.)
  18. BREAKING NEWS The original article has been edited with a response from Miss Friuli. Site Administrator.
  19. Government War Of Words Elizabeth Rankin The government today has issued a press statement in response to an open letter published by former government employee, Lia Friuli. This was previously covered by LSNN and can be found here. The governments statement can be found below. EDIT: The original letter, seemingly written by Lia Friuli, has been updated on several websites that it was originally posted on, as a response to the above statement from the City Government, refuting many of the things originally written and published by the City Government. The Statement from Miss Friuli is written below. Full analysis from LSNN is expected at a later date. Full analysis from LSNN is expected at a later date.
