  1. Lets use the hospital as an example of what I'm trying to say. Most use a 5/5/4 pattern to make up shifts. So that's 5 days of 10 hours shifts, 3 days off, another five days of shifts, four days off. Accounting that most people will need a day to just recover, that's 2 and 3 days each to allow for other activities. Can't go into much more specific as it addresses a report directly, but those 2/3 days are enough time for people to do the odd thing once or twice every few weeks. But afaik that was still considered an issue by RPQM. Wasn't a 3 job monty situation, just one career and one hobby.
  2. One thing I just wanna say... as I've noticed it in RPQM reports against ppl in the legal side of things. Some people IRL work 3 jobs, some like to make music, some like to volunteer or honestly anything. No job contracts you for every hour in the week. It's typically 9-12 hours a day, and if its 12 you'd get multiple days off in a row. Most jobs get weekends off or rotate em. Can we chill on the amount of reports against ppl who exercise this. It's perfectly realistic. Don't make me post the video of the DJing Priest with the side job of a security guard. :<
  3. This ideas been floated 3-4 times in the past, but I think its time to integrate DMEC into Pillbox.
  4. Username: Danielle Bordeaux Comment: This is not true my friend, the mayoral position has no authority over the gun laws in the state, I for one wish we would have access to more. We already have stringent background checks on those looking to exercise their second amendment right, the state could benefit from allowing additional firearms for purchase. It would also be wonderful if we're able to have a home grown legal firearms manufacturers to provide another great export for our state.
  5. I'd support it under that condition, no PHMC/FD ON DUTY then its fair to be used.
  6. Username: D.A.Bordeaux Comment: I'm sorry to hear you feel this way, but part of my campaign is to attempt to grant Blaine county the ability to legislate on the issues which directly impact it, allowing for the expansion of your rights rather than reduction of them. It's unreasonable to assume issues affecting the city are remotely the same as those in the county.

  9. To play a devils advocate, I know its not a route FB moderation want to take but having mods with dummy accounts that are named and listed directly as FB staff may help ease issues people have. Atm when things go sideways, there's no real recourse for anyone. From gang violence to petty disputes or full blown meltdowns attacking everyone. Yes I know it may dramatically increase workload for FB mods as I'm sure people would suddenly approach them moaning about everything, but people are always gonna moan. Tis' just human nature.

But Paddy, that's not how cults of personality work!!!!
  11. Amazing theme truly 10/10 for how sleek and modern it looks, just don't use it on mobiles lmao.
  12. Others do though. I'd argue it'd been seen under the doing anything to survive aspect. I'm not saying its wrong or right, or even why there's so few female prisoners. But its an option typically exclusive for them and I've it offered to my old FTO for instance. This was 2019, but its not a stretch to imagine it happens now as well. It's what spawned the Code 7 in a parking lot joke within the PD.
  13. Just repeating what I saw in PD, ppl offering up "services" to get out of criminal offenses.
  14. I'd argue the females are just better at not getting caught, or explore other options not to end up in jail (It does happen, don't pretend it doesn't.)
  15. Nah, until people truly recognize what's actually a valid reason to end a life, fuck no. Even among killers, taking a life is still a SERIOUS deal, not just a case of grab ya gat and pop three into your neighbors noggin. I don't believe there is anything staff could do to make that work, it has to come from the whole community to begin to shift how they're handling conflicts.
  16. 40 bodies..... BRUH. I dont even think El Salvador does that in a month. But this puts me back to my original point, the issue is not the physical bodies. It's everyone jumping to murder instead of exploring the power and control aspects of forcing respect outta opps.
  17. Or how about a push from the administration side to really hammer home that guns are a last resort and people need to stop shooting one another cause they used the wrong letter in a facebrowser post, as just an example. It still happens. I dont think corpse persistence is a problem if the underlying cause of the absolutely astronomical murder rate is addressed. This isn't me taking a dig at anyone, but I think most will agree... our murder rate is nuts. Yeah its in part because unlike IRL, the illegal elements of the city are a lot stronger and more numerous. This isn't a bad thing, but I don't see why most conflicts end in a river of bodies being left without really needing it. Someone disrespects you? Where's the days of tying 'em to a chair and beating respect into them instead of just one tapping em.
  18. Faction thread has been refreshed! Big shout out to @gnvxfor making it look leagues cleaner.
  19. This is a good change. But I will iterate again, cars go ape when they are spawned. They will fly, clip and crash into each other or get swallowed by the earth. There NEEDS to be a fail safe so players aren't having to repair damage literally caused by the server not working as intended. The rest is fine. I get why they've put faction vehicles on there. Factionized vehicles can be buggy depending on who/what char in the faction they're held by. I certainly think it'll be good for the GOVERNMENT factions to be able to RP inhouse repair teams to be able to fix their fleets etc, but they shouldn't be exempt. And I'd see no reason non government factions would be covered by that at all. Tax exempt, yeah. Cause we physically are unable to get them road taxed due to the script, but not damage exempt.
  20. my fuel hungry mamba will continue to be fuel hungry. is ok. The fuels not the problem, just adding a safety net to vehicles on spawn so that if the server decides to eat em, their engines won't take damage from that.
