I believe the server aims to give the best possible realism / immersion experience. Now when you wish to make an online purchase or transfer someone money, do you say "I want to give 50 dollars to John Doe" or do you use a bank account number? Also to mention the anonymity, perhaps people want to keep their identity a secret and with the current system that's not possible, you have to give a name, or /roleplay/ giving a transaction ID, so how does this not seem like improvement to you?
