Rockstar Games didn't try to make East Los Santos look like Eastside Los Angeles (Mapping L.A) or East Los Angeles as La Mesa is based on Downtown Los Angeles' Arts District and Cypress Flats is based on the City of Vernon. El Burro Heights takes inspiration from the Montebello Hills Oil Field, and Murrieta Heights is only comprised of two or three re-used South Los Santos buildings. There is nothing that will ever give an East L.A vibe to the game, I'm afraid.

While it takes inspiration from Niland, CA, it's heavily based on Desert Shores, CA and Bombay Beach, CA. Sandy Shores is established as a small seaside community: transforming it into a urban area would break continuity.

If you keep it, please remove USA/San Andreas flag poles as they're placed in random areas and become invisible depending on your camera rotation. I've seen strangely placed traffic signs in the desert, such as a stop sign being placed way before the stop line, and on the wrong side of the road.
