Tried family RP before with a group of friends for laughs and it was surprisingly fun, but it got stale quickly. Either way, good luck. Hope you find some people.

I think it's super fun and deviates from the usual RP dynamic between characters in GTAW, which ultimately leads to more diversity when it comes to the roleplay itself.

Family roleplay allows someone to explore the world of a family. It's not just about being parents, it can be anything from siblings to cousins, step-siblings, etc.

 

The idea behind it is that it would prompt many different ways people to interact with each other while playing their characters or interacting with their environment and other characters.  For me it's not stale, but of course everyone has a different experience with it and it is also valid.

 

Roleplaying a family can help build bonds between players as well as challenging their roleplay skills in social situations since they are pushed into acting out what might happen if one was part of an actual family with real players and not NPC's.

Family RP is definitely fun as long as you do it right and provides a different aspect of RP that most people never experience.

It's better when you get in trouble with admins as a family.
