Not only were people not protesting, but actively offering the deputies a place among them, despite the hostility. I even saw people offering them food. Maybe the people in charge need to read the room and realize that the best approach here is to invest in community outreach programs. These programs have worked in the past and would help bridge the divide between these communities and those in law enforcement. It's not hard to imagine. Think of those videos of cops riding on skateboards and hitting kickflips. That's what people wanna see. That's what makes them see our boys in blue in a better light, not a bunch of guys with riot helmets and guns encroaching on a community barbeque.

Yeah. I see what you're saying. This is one of those things that sounds useful in theory, but doesn't actually hold up when it comes to how many people will use it. I was mostly thinking in terms of drug mules and regular use by civilians, but I'm not sure how much use either side would get out of it. I just think it'd be nice to have.

That's fair, but I think it'd give people options for when these companies aren't active. I don't think it'd completely ruin the company, given that most of them primarily rent out commercial vehicles. There's also cars player-owned lots offer that the script wouldn't.

If a system could be worked out for rental plates, that would probably allow this to exist. I just figured it attached a name to the plate that showed up on a database. I see where you're coming from.

Pretty basic concept. I think it'd benefit both legal and illegal RP to have access to more variable rental vehicles over the ones you can get at the airport. Not at all a priority, but it'd be cool to have general SUVs, sedans and trucks. Player-owned rental lots could be implemented as well, but this isn't necessary and is something you can probably already do through RP.
