  1. When I had a younger character (20-25) I aged up every few months. Now that I am RPing a 44 year old, I'll age up once every year or two IRL just depending on how I'm feeling. I think when you hit a certain upper age, ageing up doesn't really make all that difference.
  2. Illness would be great. Especially these people going out in 5C weather in nothing but a crop top and shorts. Give em a raging cold to deal with.
  3. Such a good game, though the AI does need toning down a bit. 1 successful mission out of 20 attempts, love it haha.
  4. It was on the UCP vehicle lease system. Not sure if it's still there or not, can't check due to it being closed. +1 for the suggestion tho.
  5. I must agree that this is a rather damaging item to the whole alarm and vehicle anti theft area. It pretty much makes having those pointless. All we'll see is people logging off with valuable items, less items stored in houses and cars /vp'd as soon as you leave it. I'm all for new features and possible ways of getting around alarms for a SHORT period, but 10 minutes is stupid long. Balancing definitely needs looking in to before its released.
  6. -1 I have two personal vehicles and around 10 vehicles on my list that are faction vehicles. I keep them all so my guys do not get asked about their assets by staff and having to justify faction vehicles, hence why I stockpile 90% of them on my character. Limiting to three is dumb.
  7. Of course, though depends on the way they are recruited. We do it via an interview process from one of our members which means everything is done IC already. I then have to jump on and recruit via script, though having it on UCP would be far far easier for people.
  8. Name: Doc Comment: This would be interesting if it was actually true. Claiming things you didn't actually do? please.... Oh and not to mention that you're now full blown terrorists by claiming to have attacked state important infrastructure. Nice one.
  9. +1 I want a tanoy system at the Refinery. We have one IRL!
  10. I think the title is rather self explanatory. I've found myself in a situation where I need to recruit a couple of people to our business script, though I have to jump in game each time to do it. Similar to the faction invite ability, I think being able to invite people to a business script could be a nice QOL implementation whilst also being able to manage ranks. Cheers!
  11. Yes. Jedi Counsel for Security. I want. But in all seriousness, I don't think it's really the firms fault on how their guards react, that lies solely down to the person RPing. I don't know what it is though, maybe they want to be the hero? just want to fire their weapon for once? who knows, but the fact remains that it's the player behind the character that makes the decisions. Now these security firms can proceduralize everything through their arses, but it relies on the OOC player to follow them. We know it's a game, we know we want to have fun and get involved in some crazy things, but when it's in a role that already has a severely bad reputation then some savvy and common sense need to prevail. I remember talking to someone in PD and they are cracking down on Security Guards. See the thing that blew my mind was a situation where a security guard stepped out of their vehicle with on open carry. They touched the side walk with their foot and boom, instant SHAFT violation and their licenses revoked indefinitely. That needs to be seen more often and I'd love to see more of a crack down on Security Guards and their license boundaries.
  12. Agreed. I mean the main thing people need to remember is call police first, make sure people inside are safe and let authorities deal with the situation. It completely defaces the point of being a security guard if you're gonna run outside guns blazing and copping an early coffin. It's dumb, lack of fear and yeah... it's dumb af. Did I forget to mention that it's dumb?
  13. This. Our internal security need a PF and a GC to even get out of the trainee rank. Purely because the factions role is operating state importsnt infrastructure so the security team reflect that. All armed, all ready to protect the assets. Hell, we're even looking to work with PD on some advanced training and establish further protocol on how to handle situations while staying within the boundaries of their licenses. On the other side of security, you have the likes of G6, Bobcat, Titan etc etc. They have a mix of armed and unarmed for their scope of security.
  14. I do agree with this. Are we going GTA Lore or IRL? there's a load of miss matches with what is supposed to be lore and what is not.
  15. It's not about understanding basic concepts of fire arms. I point it, pull the trigger and shoot, there's your basic concept. I'm saying forcing it on people who really couldn't care less whether there firearm is called a Combat Pistol or a Glock 17 isn't the way to go. My character has a gun, that's all I'm concerned about personally. I'm not trying to tell you to piss off with your idea, there just needs to be a common ground with it.
