  1. TBH I agree, some of the ped models have great face options and different clothing; it'd help give more variety for everybody.
  2. Concept: Wholesome Family-driven roleplay. (A fun nichรฉ in GTAW) Details: Seeking to find or form a wholesome, long-term, and deep roleplay experience with different players with a family focus as its main goal. You may be in charge of the scenario and the characters you will play, but your RP partners will be family members who will participate and work on the overall story together. The main thing that matters is to have fun together and build up fulfilling roleplay experiences with players who might have different backgrounds and personalities. You could already have a character looking for a family as well, and therefore I'm also open to any ideas to fulfill a role you might be interested in a player to fill. This is an ongoing roleplay that can go anywhere from months to years depending on how everyone feels about it. It's very important to get to know each party before the involvement/creation of a family roleplay scenario for a little bit; asking the right questions and opening up to hear their ideas is essential to see if they're fit for the role they might be interested in fulfilling. In the case of my concept; I'm looking for a realistic portrayal of a loving family who's living in LS. It's usually considered a difficult scenario due to the natural friction between players inside a roleplay that's about a family with people who might have very different views/experiences and chemistry with each member, however, this can also prove to be a fun opportunity to experience a different way of roleplaying and ultimately bond with other players who might have the same interest to roleplay a family-driven scenario. Your character could be anything from a mother or father, son, daughter, brother or sister, uncle, auntie, grandparent, cousin... The possibilities are endless. This along with the future of Davis High allows for a more diverse set of characters that could have family backgrounds and lore behind the usual family of an (M) being non-existent and complete NPCs. For my concept, I gravitate towards members who don't primarily focus on the creation/development of extremely violent/grim/toxic individuals (This is perfectly valid, players can love creating somebody who is a complete mess or somebody healthy, and I love all kinds of roleplay and they help diversify scenarios.) Difficult/toxic family RP is a valid scenario that's just as deep as any other but some people make it the primary focus of the roleplay. For me...I prefer roleplaying this concept with those who don't take the roleplay to the extremes of toxicity for the sake of exaggerating a negative trait for their character to give them a personality (such as an overly hostile violent or aggressive parent that goes off over something really small, for example). A healthy RP mindset where wholesomeness is the primary goal is what I love the most in this concept. I'm not saying family issues aren't realistic, but sometimes escalation is taken to the extremes and is intentional when a character wants to experience a grim family roleplay scenario. (Yet again, this whole thing is very broad and the concept of a "family" varies between each one of us. Which is why it's important to set goals and get to know potential participants a little bit.) Members of this concept should have: - An open mind. - A desire to create/participate in a wholesome family roleplay experience. - Be conscious of the possibility of anybody taking breaks from time to time or leaving the roleplay due to any reason at any time. - Be able not to be dismissive and can openly communicate ICly to other members and have an understanding mindset for them. - Be aware of possible conflicts that come with having different personalities and backgrounds in a family setting, or natural ICly family drama that might happen. - Have a sense of realism, the point of family RP is to roleplay the bonding within family members, not to develop a scenario where everyone will despise eachother. (I do have a heart for the dark side too, but I'm looking for an overall balanced situation.) (This doesn't necessarily mean that every single person has to be these things 100% of the time, it's more about being able to work together as a whole.) If you're interested or have any questions or just wanna chat about it, feel free to send me a message or inbox me. #Wolfie2628. I'm dying to participate in a concept like this or be able to build a successful one with others.
  3. I wonder why it hasn't been considered when it's been suggested that much. So many players including OG's and new ones would absolutely adore being able to find others with similar interests for what they want to develop in the server and form rp partners who will surely motivate them to play more since not everybody wants to start solo. It would also bring a new wave of people who will find it easier to blend with the community as a whole too. It's an essential part of most roleplaying communities to have a section for people who look for specific roleplay ideas with other people. โ˜น๏ธ
  4. Hi, I'm on the lookout for good ol' wholesome family RP. I'm an avid roleplayer who immerses himself into his character and commits to scenarios and long-term gameplay. Add me if you'd like to have another member in your family and you'd like a heavy rper to fill the role (if I'm fit for it.) Wolfie#2628 (Discord) Edit 11/02/2023. I'm still available ๐Ÿ™‚ Edit #2: 21/02/2023. Hey, still looking for family RP.
  5. It'd be nice to have a way for roleplayers to search among other roleplayers who are seeking a roleplaying partner to collaborate on developing a mutual story together through the forums. I understand that this can already be done in multiple other ways but having a section in the forums exclusively dedicated for players to advertise and find potential RP partners would honestly motivate a lot of people to join the server since they would have the chance to really find other players who might have the same interests and therefore creating a more diverse circle of RP groups and partners to play with. Yes, it's always fun to just jump straight into the game with your character and then socialize with people or join one of the factions available to connect with others. But I feel like roleplayers should have the chance to find other partners who might want to develop a story that's not connected to one of the official factions/groups. For example if somebody wanted to RP an specific character with a nichรฉ or specific story development or idea, it would be awesome for that person to be able to find other players with similar interests through forum threads. A forum section that allows people to connect with eachother's RP ideas would be fantastic and it'd be motivating for those players that are still really passionate about RP but are unable to meet RP partners for specific ideas and story-development that many people would love to have with others. (Speaking from experience; I've had fantastic RP moments with people who by chance were interested in the same things that I am; but I really wish I could just make a post where I could describe and advertise what I'd love to RP with other people and find compatible RP partners for it without having to find other ways where I'd have to constantly be on the lookout for other RP partners.) Those opportunities and experiences where I've found players with the same interests as me had been great; but when the RP ends or things happen (which is normal, of course) finding more people like that is a little bit difficult because there's not really a way that I can oficially advertise for what I'd love to roleplay in the server as far as my characters' stories go. I also really think it would attract a wave of new players if the forum had a section where people can advertise what they're looking for and have the opportunity to make threads to look for specific RP ideas that they'd like to develop in-game with other players. Maybe I can only dream about this feature, I understand that the server has functioned perfectly fine for a few years now, and not many people probably care about having a section like that, but I think it's okay to give it a shot and post this because it would be absolutely lovely.
  6. Hello, I'm still down for Family RP. I'm pretty active and really into legal RP. I find family RP super fun Add me at Wolfie#2628 if interested!
  7. If anyone's interested I'm still down for family RP. I'm also looking to fill more of my character slots for family RP if anyone's interested in playing with me. (I'm an active Rper and highly interested in family rp.) My discord is Wolfie#2628 ๐Ÿค
  8. Because of the potential number of younger characters in the family, I think it's highly important for me to mention that I personally believe Family RP is ALL about enjoying and absorbing the slice of life kind of RP that family type groups have in the world roleplay, embracing the fun and interesting stories that can branch out of it, and making it as worthy as possible. Therefore, it's better when each character is self-sufficient for themselves. What do I mean by "self-sufficient"? It can be subjective, for example; when I made a character and they had a parent, I NEVER intend to have the parent as a provider, since that'd be unfair for the player unless the player chose to do so, up to their own conditions. It's all about the experiences with roleplaying that type of family member for fun and how they would play being that role inside plenty of in-depth situations and scenarios. The most rewarding thing in GTAW is good roleplay. Family's are a team after all, and that should be the case in RP aswell (IMO.)
  9. I think it's super fun and deviates from the usual RP dynamic between characters in GTAW, which ultimately leads to more diversity when it comes to the roleplay itself. Family roleplay allows someone to explore the world of a family. It's not just about being parents, it can be anything from siblings to cousins, step-siblings, etc. The idea behind it is that it would prompt many different ways people to interact with each other while playing their characters or interacting with their environment and other characters. For me it's not stale, but of course everyone has a different experience with it and it is also valid. Roleplaying a family can help build bonds between players as well as challenging their roleplay skills in social situations since they are pushed into acting out what might happen if one was part of an actual family with real players and not NPC's. I'm open for friend requests on DC: Wolfie#2628
  10. I'm highly interested in family rp, I'm open to discord friend requests. I think Saro is inactive. My discord username is Wolfie#2628 I'm really interested. ๐Ÿ™‚
  11. I agree completely. I love the ped skins and find the customization options really fun to see while using Menyoo and it'd be incredible to see that on GTAW
