  1. Yeah, I'll keep it a buck bro, nobody cares about RP'ing fighting, because it's not like its the technicalities of a fight people care about, it's the development that stems from it. Script fighting is the least controversial way to settle it. If it's purely based off /me's, not only is it going to take an insane amount of time, but it's also inevitably going to devolve into an inevitable argument that just straight up can't be settled. If you've ever played on any kind roleplay server that's non-shoot to kill, then you'd know this. Also, now you've got seven dudes arguing against seven other dudes over why they'd totally win and you wouldn't. And if you're earnestly telling me every participant in a conflict is a good faith actor, then you're just naive bro. If it's purely a few /me's and /roll's, then you're also saying that a dude that's 5'6" and lanky as shit and a dude that's 6'2", bulky and regularly trains at the gym have a 50/50 chance of taking the W in a fight.
  2. Honestly, this entire thread is just about "Should addicts that are severely mentally ill be allowed to be portrayed in roleplay?". Drug use is more often than not going to be a symptom of severe mental illness, and as such a comorbid thing when it comes to somebody doing dumb shit. The guy you see on bodycam footage biting on ears, beating on people in public doesn't need drugs to enter a psychotic episode, it's just that their seven day meth binge considerably aggravates their condition. The majority of addicts are functional addicts. And even then, it's not like drugs will suddenly make you go do some serious fuck shit if you've never been inclined towards such more. PCP never made me want to eat a baby, but people will eat babies on PCP, and I can guarantee it's not solely due to the drug.
