Limit on age?

Question, how exactly will this process work? Do you expect players to apply for these characters BEFORE joining a faction? As far as I'm aware OOC recruitment isn't allowed but this sounds like it basically sets it up to where you have to join a faction OOCly before creating a character under 18, although I might be mistaken.

Adults can do what adults want to do between eachother, and if GTA:W is a good platform for doing so, they should be able to, in private.

After all, we're adults. (To those whom are adults.)

 

Teens should, for good reason, not be allowed to perform such acts online. For their own good, and for the sake of not endulging and allowing pedophiles a place to behave the way they desire.

I feel you on that one, bro. Honestly teenager roleplay can be fucked up if people do it like that, but I don't think it's all that necessary to doxx all of their information out to the public over two virtual characters humping. I'm not defending the fact that it is some fucked up shit to do, but I think the ban is enough. Here's why:

• Even if you report those two players to the authorities in real life, I doubt there will be legal action taken seeing as pedophilia is indeed fucked up, but it wasn't physically acted on. If two players (whom I'd assume) that are grown men roleplaying some teenage sex, there's no actual victim. Yeah, it's weird as shit, but you gotta think about it. On PornHub, bruh, they got all them videos where the title is "Mom Fucks Son" and shit like that, but it's no actual child molestation involved, it's two horny motherfuckers playing roles. Same as on GTA World.

 

• If you doxxx these grown men information out then that could lead to their lives being fucked up over them doing what the casual PornHub user watches which is other adults play fake roles just so they can get they fuck on. Don't get me wrong, that shit is mad creepy, but ruining someone's life over them doing that shit on the game is fucked up too. I'd rather just ban those types of people rather than dig that deep over some characters.

 

• OOC pedophilia is another thing, that Frank Kranes - Krisk situation was as serious as online pedophilia can get, he tried to make that man show nudes just so that he could continue to play on LS-RP (do not ban me for my mention of dat shitty server pls). If this type of scenario was set in place, then of course I'm all for reporting this nigga to the authorities because he's/she's making a real-life move on an actual young individual. That's an actual action taken against another player. Two teen characters is wrong server-wide.

But on topic, I'm happy to see the minimum age be set to 18 for civies and 15 for gangs, I'd be more happy to see it even higher for gangs but I'll trust Management on this decision. I'm happy for it, though sad it took a ban to get it done.

As for your point on "mom fucks son" videos on PornHub, the actors are adults. There is no physical appeal for a pedophile, other than the "son" insinuating a young person, altough it usually is not a young person in these videos. Erotic roleplay through text allows the pedophile to follow their fantasies way further than any video on PornHub.
