  1. (( translation: she's mad she's too poor to buy the house so she wrote that ))
  2. Exactly. Irl to rob a truck you would need to know where it's going, where it makes stops along the way and plan the robbery in advance and do it in a secluded area. Just robbing a random trucker at the pickup point at gunpoint in a place where you could not even enter realistically and is heavily guarded it's stupid and unrealistic.
  3. The docks especially the main docks from a big city are heavyly guarded places where it's impossible to enter without clearence let alone do robberies...end of story... it is a no brainer they should be NPCed and a no crime zone... Let's stay on topic tough. One day I think I will make a suggestion about making the docks crime free area and you can post that reply there and I will address every point you've made and why I think it's wrong ?
  4. By that logic you may as well rob at the airport then because no players patrol there. Irl docks are highly regulated and guarded places with lots of activity going on and lots of security cameras. That should be NPCed at all times. Hell you would not be able to go inside too much without having the right papers and clearence let alone barge in on a motorcycle wearing a masked outfit and robbing truckers at the freaking loading point rolf.
  5. True that would be stulid street gangs using drones on a regular basis to do that sort of thing. But there could be strict rules about it for example they could only be used in a realistic situation: - a photographer at a big event could use it - a law enforcement agency could use it to gather intel from a distance when they suspect something Law enforcement's drones should be high end - more range and battery. Etc. And an admin should give you the go ahead to use it first. I really think it could work if properly implemented and regulated.
  6. Interesting I was not aware of that command. If that is indeed the case and it affects the garbageman job then there should be strict rules about where you can set it perhaps get an admin to approve your spot similar like when you need to get an admin to give you the go ahead to furnish outaide your property
  7. Short description: Remove timer from garbageman job and change the way it works by making it more dynamic to give people more incentive to rp it. Detailed description: Right now once you do the command to start the job you have a timer of around 10 minutes or so(don't remember the actual time) to collect trash that spawns randonly accross the map some times in weird locations(like on a porch on the first floor). I may be wrong but as far as I know Irl big garbage trucks only collect from the street and big garbage containers that serve residencial and other areas. In my opinion not only the places the trash bags spam but also the timer make the player run around to collect the trash with little to no rp especially considering the job is usually takem by new players. What if we had something like this: *) once a business opens and operates it generates a specific ammount of trash proportional to the number of crates that was delibered to it by truckers *) after the business closes(say 10-15 minutes after the last crate was delivered) some trash spawns and garbagemen can do a command similar to truckers /startshipment to collect it *) the idea with the time between the last crate and the trash spawning is to avoid the situation where big garbage trucks would drive at the same time as truckers do at the same businesses. *) Also the trash generated by businesses could spawn not on the same place where crates need to be delivered but instead a little far away to further help towards avoiding the situation where delivery trucks and garbage trucks would be in the same place at the same time. *) A second suggestion: perhaps make it a /startshift type of job where you get paid by the ammount of time you spend on duty and rp similar like in a business. That would make players actually rp the job instead of running around collecting bags with no rp. The trash should still spawn in appropriate locations also. Commands to add: /starttrashjob At the pickup: /pickuptrash At the truck: /loadtrash, /unloadtrash At the drop off: /droptrash Items to add: Trash that spawns at certain places which belong to a business. How would your suggestion improve the server? It would make the garbageman job more attractive even to more experienced players and give them incentive to rp the job in a more realistic manner. Additional information: Potential problem: if there would only one /droptrash location that could lead to situations where there would be many trucks at the same place at the same time which could in theory create a cluster of big ass trucks in one place. I don't have any good ideeas how this could be tackled at the moment.

  11. Yeah I agree and I like your suggestion more and if I were to chose I would choose yours however I made that suggestion because I think yours is a little bit difficult to implement in my opinion due tobthat restriction on the nunber of deliveries one can make per day. I think that would require some tweaking on the businesses scripts also since they function with the crates provided by truckers and the number of required crates is updated in real time as people roleplay at the businesses. If the restriction would be implemented and the businesses would operate the same way as they do know I think you could run into the situation where businesses would require crates to operate and there would be nobody to supply them. I think the ideea you said in step 1(the automation of unloading of crates during which you would be required to RP) would be a good ideea to implement since it's simple, would make truckers rp more and would not affect the businesses model in any way.
