Sorry to bump this old thread. I am a new player and want to make sure I don't break any rule. I work as a trucker and i would like to keybind /pickupcrate, /loadcrate, /unloadcrate and /sellcrate so I don't type them all the time. Is that allowed on the server? Can somebody please confirm this? Also if allowed can someome please recommend a key binder? Thanks.

yeah you are right. I for some reason did not complete the whole tutorial. Not that I didn't want to I just stopped it somehow I believe.

Maybe if they allowed mopeds to be driven without licenses and added them to the rental companies they could be used for the tutorial. I think in real life there are some low speed mopeds that require no license.

I know it doesn't. But that's not realistic. In real life rental companies require your ID and driving license before leasing you a vehicle.

What happens if you get pulled over during the tutorial? You don't have a license at this point yet youbare driving a vehicle.

No, I don't think so. It just lets you know that you rented it for 100$ that is all. I have a license now so I can't check to be extra sure. Maybe someone who knows for sure can confirm/deny that. It should not let you rent at all without a license in my opinion. I get it that the initial car ride(the tutorial) at the beginning is very helpful for the new player because it makes like a tour of the city, shows you where to buy a phone etc. However nowhere in that tutorial does it mention a driving license as far as I remember. In theory within your first 5 minutes on the server, during the original tutorial you could get pulled over and arrested because you are driving without a license. And how convenient would that be? To get pulled over and arrested within your first minutes on the server because you are following the tutorial you were guided on? The tutorial is very good however the system should, in my opinion be re-thinked a bit as to not lead people into thinking they have a driving license when it fact they do not. Here is my solution: Add bicycles and perhaps some low speed mopeds to rental businesses that can rented without driving licenses and do the tutorial with those. In real life there are some mopeds which you can drive without a license I believe so that should be realistic.

Hello, I'm new to the server(this is my 4 day on it) and I love it I think it is amazing. However there is in my opinion a 'flaw' which could be improved. I'm not sure if this has already been suggested but... When you first join the server and spawn at the airport you can go to a rental company and rent a vehicle right away. This would make a new player with common sense believe that every player has a driving license by default and/or that driving licenses are not scripted on the server. (Because realistically when you rent a vehicle you must have a valid driving license). So the new player goes on minding his own business thinking he has a driving license when in fact he/she does not :D and must take that driving license exam in order to obtain it. Me myself I found out when I wanted to start a trucking job and it told me I didn't have a license, initially I thought it was some different kind of driving license(for trucks or whatever). My point should be that we should not be able to rent vehicles without a valid driving license as that is unrealistic. A message letting you know that you need a driving license to rent a vehicle should pop up just like it pops up when you want to do trucking without a license. Also if a player without a license gets into a vehicle a warning message should appear letting him/her know that he/she is driving without a license.

Wow that was one quick reply :D. Thanks for the info. I see there are 20 people online on the server. How is it possible for them to play if that is the case? Also how often does this happen? Rage needing to update to catch up with the versions? And how fast do the updates happen? Also it kinda bugs me that it says I don't have a version from March 2020 since I installed the game 2 days ago how can that be?

Hello, I have installed the game and RageRp two days ago(9 august 2020). I have played on gta world a bit yesterday night. Today I want to play again and I get this error: Your game version is not supported by RAGE multiplayer. Please upgrade to 1.50.1(31 March 2020) in order to continue playing. Please see attached image. Now I have done absolutely nothing since yesterday night when I was able to play without problems. I had the PC off all day now when I try to join any of the servers I get this error :(. I checked the version of my GTA V(I have the steam version)and under details it indeed says I have version 1.0.2060.0. Now how is this even possible to not have the version which was released on 31 March 2020 if I installed the game two days ago? And I can't manually update it in Steam either. I have tried: - reinstalling rage rp - verify integrity of game files in steam The problem still persists. I have seen that other people had this problem in the past however it is not clear to me how I must solve it. I'm trying to reinstall the game right now. I expect that also will not work.
