  1. 25/DEC/19: Updated, added LSSD badge plaque - used for walls.
  2. Nice character story, I look forward to seeing more of you.
  3. Banned for using a kid as your profile picture.
  4. This faction video is the official submission of the Conservative Party of San Andreas.
  5. The last time I proposed a County Charter, it got shutdown by the old Faction Management. Possibly if enough people provide support to the City Government where it is at a stage of stability and activity, the establishment of a County Board of Supervisors would be possible should people express their interest in it.
  6. Don't think I did, always been a law abiding citizen.
  7. I study Politics and International Relations, in my final year of studies. On the side, I work for my local Member of Parliament.
  8. Parties aren't created randomly when people feel like it and do things at their own discretion without approval, they go through vetting/process of approval by Faction Management. Parties right now are formed in the same way usual factions are, leadership votes/elections and general internal politics happens later on. The threads allowed up there somewhat contributes to the legitimacy of these parties/factions. Everything requires a beginning; someone needs to set the foundation before the rest fall into place. The Mayor was appointed to his post for the same reason, to establish precedence. Elections are not the only way to establish legitimacy, though it is perhaps the most preferred way.
  9. The issue here isn't a question of legitimacy, it's more a question of representation. San Andreas isn't entirely a true or realistic representation of California - this in fact, has been the topic of discussion on may roleplay severs out there (whether San Andreas should replace California, or if the two states exist together, etc.). Thus, we have the freedom to direct and engage in our own political and economic processes so that it's unique to the setting of the state, while of course taking inspiration from the American system. Disallowing the creation of political parties because you're misinformed or share concerns based on branding/labelling or on semantics rather than voicing issues with the actual policies of these parties is completely baseless and ridiculous.
  10. The whole point of a thread is to show the party's policies, their views, their vision and their organisation - and most of all, to show roleplay screens, party news, events, etc. Not allowing them to make one is pretty silly, how else would you expect people to find out information about their party? Think of it as a website or a poster if you will, every party has one. As for party majority, that could be established in the City Council or in the State Senate (if we ever have one); the party with the most number of seats becomes the majority, and the party with the least is the minority. So I don't see a problem with it all.
  11. I'm just going to put it out there again, if people don't feel the party they're in aligns with their socio-economic views and values, and they have like-minded individuals who feel the same way, then they can feel free to create their own party as long as it is inspired by an American Party that exists. In the case of the Conservatives, we're inspired by the Constitution Party, which is an American political party before anyone starts calling us a clone of the British party. We're not simply going to coup the Republican or the Democratic leadership because we don't agree with how they run it or because we don't feel the party represents us, that encourages more issues than you can imagine. At the end of the day, everyone has the right to run their party how they wish, this isn't a dictatorship. If Nervous and Faction Management believe that the parties which form are not in violation of the standards they've set, and of the U.S. political system, then we encourage and welcome the formation of more political parties should the need arise.
  12. At the top of the list definitely goes @SpawnMatrix, he's done a lot in a short space of time for Faction Management than some of his predecessors, that's for certain. Appreciate everything you've done so far and continue to do with Faction Management, keep up the excellent work!
  13. That may be the case for loosening restrictions on guns, but it certainly isn't for having strict control on gun laws, which can be done IC'ly by passing the laws/bills required to monitor it. You can always influence, or attempt to influence certain factors IC'ly; it has worked, so I don't see why it wouldn't work here.
  14. Both parties have manifesto-related issues. My argument, was that I believed both parties shared similar fundamental policies, especially with regards to the legalisation of marijuana and gun laws and have diverted a bit from the mainstream historical political stance their real-life counterparts represent. That is one issue, the other problem is the issue of party-policy vagueness; both parties are vague in certain parts of their manifesto. The Democrats say they support the right to bear arms, but there's literally nothing regarding gun control, which is in fact a major political issue for the Democrats. On the other hand, the Republicans have their policies mainly around crime (which includes guns and drug policies) and licensing, but nothing else. While one is slightly more advanced than the other, ultimately both manifestos have little to nothing about government reform, energy/oil, trade or markets, security, the economy, tax reform or infrastructure/jobs.
  15. I, too, one hundred percent agree with this statement. Some of the party policies disregard the historical stance of their real-life counterparts that they supposedly wish to represent or imitate, and it is done in an attempt to garner attraction and to 'fit in' with the current political climate, which I personally don't necessarily support. This won't bring much discussion/debate in the Council if most of the policies of the two parties are quite identical, and as you say it raises the echo-chamber issue.

This is great my man, keep up the excellent work!
  17. Should work on Blender, but I haven't really tried it there since I am not comfortable with it. But if you know what you're doing or have an end plan in mind, it should work for you there. From what I know though, 3DS Max and Blender are very similar and work in a similar fashion.
  18. To model, I use 3DS Max, to retexture I mainly use Photoshop and come up with some textures, then try to map them perfectly on whatever object I wish to use through 3DS Max. Generally, it's a combination of both programs.
  19. This posts aims to feature the models and textures created by Justitiae. The purpose of this is to showcase the type of models that could be used for immersion in faction roleplay and for aesthetic purposes. I mainly work on models or textures on a feel-like basis, when I have time - so, I am not really working at a consistent rate. On a positive note, I am free to take requests and I can get to them whenever I can! (P.S. This is a Work in Progress) ( Tested GTA V reflections on Marble floors/walls or tiles - works great IG. ) gF5BXlp.mp4 GdaKiSI.mp4
  20. Yeah, looks like the Swedish one.
