Remove 1 second wait after engine start

Recommended Posts

Nope. It's highly unrealistic to instantly switch the engine on and immediately drive off. The one second delay makes it realistic and fair for the other party to react when you are about to drive off. Reaching to twist the keys to switch the engine on is not an instant action like it was in GTAW prior to this update.

However, I agree that there should be automatic /ame on your chat that you are switching the engine on to prevent any confusion. Other players can already see your /ame, it just isn't displayed on your own chat.

Plus, it's a very new feature so it will take some time to get used to it. Once you do, you'll know what's up. 🙂

Yeah, remove it. At first it felt like the server crashing out. All it does is provide an advantage to cop role-players since you can still see the /ame but the engine doesn't turn on, so it's an insta way to taser and/or beanbag people.

you're playing a videogame not everything has to be 1:1 to IRL jesus christ, everything needs to be realistic until you crash your car at 120 mph then timeskip 12 months of hospitalization into 1 day then don't pay thousands of dollars in repairs because of it
