The blood drive encourages eligible donors to donate blood to fill the county's blood storage and to be donated to partner blood banks all over the county, ensuring the gift of blood is available for anyone in need. Those who support the blood drive and roll up their sleeve will receive our heartfelt appreciation, as well as snacks for donors. FIRE DEPARTMENT STATEMENT ON HAWICK STRUCTURE FIRE 07/MAR/2024 March 12, 2024 Public Information Director Calvin Serrano ROCKFORD HILLS - This is an official statement issued by the Los Santos Fire Department's Community Liaison Office in response to the Hawick Structure Fire on March 7, 2024. Statement Begins On March 7, 2024, at 09:11 PM, Los Santos Fire Department Firefighters responded to calls for service relative to a structure fire at Laguna Place in Hawick. Units arrived at the incident within four minutes from the time of the initial call and crews began in defensive mode due to the heavy fire load. It took firefighters approximately 20 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames due to due to poor interior visibility and ventilation had to be created. Knockdown of the structure fire was declared at 9:37 PM. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by SAN FIRE's Office of the State Fire Marshal.
