GTAW 2.9 Development blog - Releasing July 16

@Nervous I'm a big fan of the updates although I do have one question,

How will the staff team prevent unsupervised home breakins from allowing players to just do it to see the layout of the interior of any property in advanced of later on requesting an actual admin spectated breakin to steal actual items as they'll already be well aware of the layout of the house?

So, players are now able to break into houses every twenty four hours unless they are people inside the interior. They log off, or got to bed, or w/e and then the house can be broken into.

Is there a limit or cool down for a house to be able to be robbed? I've seen people in this thread ask about how often the same home can be targeted. This also makes me wonder if there will be any thought or guidelines set in regards to an area or geography. Can people from Davis drive up to Rockford and target homes there?  Does it change anything?

Players can no longer rob items or see safes if they go in without an admin, but they loot imaginary furniture which can be later sold. What happens if you log in during the middle of a robbery and go inside? Again, this brings me back to a point others have made: how often can the house be targeted?

I see why this update is being added as it allows criminal rpers to rp looting houses without admin oversight, but this seems like a step in the wrong direction in my opinion unless there is a set cooldown per house dictating when it can be robbed after a robbery takes place. Otherwise we will see Grand Theft House which would be pretty boring.

Looks like my fears were granted. Day 1 of the system and my garage has already been broken into twice:

Looks like I do need max alarms after all.

EDIT: Just happened a third time

Players are testing the system I guess - breaking into a garage doesn't give you anything (maybe 1 crate max) so it'll quickly stop.

However I'm going to be monitoring it today to see if it requires to deploy the cooldown PER house too.
