I strongly want to weigh in on here, here's the factors that we cannot change as LSPD, LSSD, SAPR, SANFIRE, etcetera whichever agency we wish to talk about; - Audio Issues pertaining to Altitude, and District closeness. (That's a game mechanic.) - Traffic Existence or Frequency. (That's a server limitation and mechanic - although studies and documents we have as well as warrants and prior injunctions show us where hotspots are, thus we're allowed to be over the area, even with strict limitations in place for timed periods). - 1:1 Ratio of Real Life imagery. (People are under belief that it should be exact for one party and not the other, it's not the case. We cannot 1:1 the reality of the world, nor can any complainant, although some issues of mechanics are agreeable). What we can weigh in and observe: - Illicit and Unprovoked / Misuse of ASD, AOD, AD, whatever you wish to call them, and violating these rules regardless of their implementation. - Providing balanced feedback on all parties that are the issue rather than the Division or Department collectively. I personally record all my flights and patrols because of many factors with anyone who players here may have experienced. - All parties have a right to expect realism, and at the same time, leniency given that GTA V is a very flawed game that was made as a Open World near-Sandbox with Missions, that have issues towards all sorts of things; vehicle sound and damage, gun sound and damage, sprinting abilities, jumping abilities. All of that. How do I suggest we move forward?: - As worded by parties not even involved, as much as those who are involved, whether LEO, or Not have the due diligence to understand that there's a lot of grey area that cannot be turned Green or Red because it's not physically possible in any factor no matter the complaint or incident. - Stricter response from LFM and IFM towards offending parties of all reliable and evident complaints such as blatantly killing someone in the open over an insult, or evading over "thinking they have a warrant" or evading for "having a gun" or even in most cases lately, shooting just because you've been stopped for Tint, when you have a gun. - I will say it as a long standing LEO Roleplayer of this Community. We do not ask you out of the car unless you become passive-aggressive, have past and priors for evading or endangering lives (violent offences). If you provoke a Police Officer before they've told you "Hey, I'm XYZ, I've stopped you for 123" then the outcome is solely on you. They have policy and mandates that allow them to freely remove you from the car, or subject area like an establishment or business if you are being passive aggressive and escalating the situation. - Particularly, ASD responses are from a lot of barrel rolls and snowballing effects, groups provoking police for no reason when they have illicit items on their person then leading to some complaining the loss of said items as it's gotten to handcuffs, and then ASD frequents over in 'Orbit' for 'Scene Security' especially if the group is known to be illicit, aggressive, or is currently being one of the two. Per example, look at many compilations of shootings vs. Gangs and vs. LEO, all from provocation a good 8/10 of the time. -- On the other hand, there's also flaws in the ASD, AOD, AD areas of LEO. Which we can easily implement OOC policies preventing people being stopped for small, minor and petty stuff that a helicopter or plane would not take entire notice to, unless it's a vehicle they are after. - (QUICK EDIT: - I want to also add that the expectation that a LEO has responded to your illicit driving, isn't something you could have hidden if you're barrelling through the streets at 100mph+, a bystander, a motorist, a family, a traffic camera, or even a junction camera would spot you quite frequently in real life, as much as the next guy who's John Doe of LSPD/LSSD). This response is not targeting any specific person it is a broad oversight from a lengthy roleplayer whom has been in all walks of roleplay, Legal, Illegal and Neutral-based roleplays on this and many other communities. 🙂❤️

I completely support you on that some people are taking it too far with reading /me's from above on actions that would be subtle and the item being too small to confirm what it is, and it most certainly should not provoke a response at all.

The issue for Render and Audio in Grand Theft Auto V is not an issue that any LEO Air Support / Operations can resolve. It is by policy that the standardized value of flight is at 500-600ft Minimum, and some do still fly within audio range which has been tested frequently, to 1200ft. But this is not a "dedicated" factor or problem, it is a variable. People play with different headphone qualities, speaker qualities, volume percentages. It is unknown how a pilots flight may sound on the ground 99.9% of the time, this is a game mechanic issue, I completely agree. Flight altitude is something that's not iron set mainly because of how SAAA operates, just like the FAAA counterpart, there has to be a certain value of clearance above each aircraft when in the same area, district or county depending on how frequent or busy the traffic is. There is Camera and Helicopter regulations per say, and we don't have many helicopters as is believed, there is only 2 Marked Helicopters to the LSPD alone, compared to other Agencies which have numerous. The others that we have do not respond to your day to day incidents and are only resolved for Warrants, Large Scenes like Hostage-Taking Incidents, Fires, or Search and Rescue efforts. - Majority of the time it's only 1 aircraft on, for 1-2 IRL hours, and that's that. We cannot idle over any District at any time for more than 5-10 minutes, unless we have a Scope, Call, Warrant or Observation of a known vehicle that is Wanted and or Stolen. P.S. - I am all for promoting that you can hear us from the distance away, and if there is an implementation that can be made, I'd give a thousand +1's to it. 🙂

As for the Air Support Side, not going to happen. It is a RageMP issue that the render is terrible. LSPD Air Support Division will not fly less than 600ft Patrol Height (500ft Leniency), to the render view of 200-300ft so Players can see us, when we'd only just be clearing some of the buildings. I'm sorry, this is not going to happen, full stop. There's an IC regulation we fly at a reasonable clearance which is 600ft, and we'll be sticking to that. - You're more than welcome to encourage RageMP to fix their Aircraft Streamer as their updates have broken the render, but that is not something we will fly low for.

+1 - I totally support this. As a person who has played here a long time, on Illegal, Legal and General/Civilian Roleplay. I have noticed there is a lack of roleplay around a large scale scene. I have kept various videos of incidents where players have purposely ignored areas where they should roleplay, and have continued to go in like it's a Playfield. When actually in most cases, they ran on foot next to the body, or cycled OVER the body infront of SWAT, CNT, and General LSPD Staff. - You would not risk Felony Charges, for the simple mindset of an ego. By all means harass the Police here-and-there for being in your hood, or ruining your night if the LSPD/LSSD caused the shooting. But please-.. Don't attract attention to yourself and ruin the genuine scene roleplay.

Short description: Enable a prefix to be allowed at the end of the command "/fuel", so that players can utilize Cash or Bank. Detailed description: I've noticed that with my time here, There has been times, especially within /pduty or /mduty, that the Government pays for the fuel. However it needs to factually exist on your person to cover the amount, if not, it doesn't let you /fuel despite the Government-Faction stuff. - Same with civilian (of course.) Commands to add: /fuel cash (To take money from hand). /fuel bank (To take money from bank. Items to add: N/A. How would your suggestion improve the server? I find that it would be beneficial to those who wish to RP not having much cash on hand, but like to safeguard it in the bank. - It is a basic suggestion, but I think it would help alot. Additional information: N/A.

Personally. I feel that this situation overall is "each to their own". We all have roleplay styles, just like someone may have a style for being a Police Officer, a Criminal (Gang Member/ etc.), or just a Day-To-Day Civilian. The context of how people roleplay shouldn't be limited or determined by any individual. - As long as the the /me and /do consists of correct grammar, English and general vocabulary. I don't think that there's too many people who do extensive /me and /do 's , but generally I write at length and in detail because I want my actions to be visible to the mind as much as it may be a game. I may not be the only one who does this, but I feel that the standards of certain areas enforces this extent of roleplay. Afterall. It is a "Heavy Roleplay Community" thus, enforcing it.

Also. As to reading a few of these responses. Some issues don't seem to be with the Faction, Los Santos Police Department as a whole. It seems to be about a minority. I will admit there has been times where players like any other has made questionable judgement. We are apart of a faction. We're not robots or emotionless. Sometimes some people have more than just the game going on, in their lives. - I've seen rights and wrongs if every type of roleplay during my time within roleplay and here, in GTA-World itself. - Unfortunately, like the real world there will never be 'total perfection', no matter how many rules, posts, threads or complaints you make. However I can assure you that the Los Santos Police Department Members, and Senior Staff/Command/Executive etcetera, are doing our very best to make the experience enjoyable. As for "Police Cruisers being fast", the only vehicle that has extensive capabilities to catch what we'd call modified sports vehicles, is our Interceptor. Which we need to have approval from a Supervisor, should there not be of anyone whom is in what's called our Traffic Enforcement Division. - We've had and have lower capable vehicles, such as the Scout, Granger, VVPI, and Buffalo, which all exceed in their specific areas. - This no doubt, and I've done my research before writing this, is in fair game. Because in real life, Police Departments don't buy stock bone or easy made vehicles to give advantage or fair. There's plenty of Departments; and some of what we base as to/in the LSPD, that hire professional garages or contracts to modify their vehicles. Such as the purchase of the Dodge Charger V8 / V10 Builds, that have alot of great capabilities. - Despite this, this isn't the reason we reduced. We reduced for plentiful reasons - Some are also OOC as GTA V is not totally realistic and excessive speed above what's known in the game would be unbareable. But now speaking of You and LSPD sort of topics. Should a decision or judgement be questionable. There is places to go about that. And if you feel you've been severely wronged by a member. There's areas like Internal Affairs, Faction Management, Player Standards/Roleplay, Forum Report Section. - I'm not stating that this is the only way the Los Santos Police Department Faction hears you. Because trust me, there's a lot of us and word of suitable/relevant topics spread just like a Forum. - I've been in the Faction, give or take nearly two years now. And I've been on the server near-since it's opening. I've had many interactions of the Illegal, Legal, and Policing Roleplay. And out of all of them I can say I'm proud to be in the LSPD Faction, due to our progress, and continuous strive to make the changes that we're permitted to work with. I have never singly selected out any Suspect, or Civilian because they're affiliated or on any OOC basis. I have not caused discomfort to anyone within any purpose or ill intent and I know that there's plenty faction members out there whom also have gone above and beyond. - I do not feel that we're perfect, or that we're blame free from any incident that has occurred incorrectly or may occur incorrectly. But that's how we progress and learn. LSPD Faction does take accountability for it's actions and plenty of it can be seen in the Forum Reports, and our own Public Section on the LSPD Forum. Dishonourable Discharges, IC and OOC do occur, not regular due to limitations of Illegal Content as LSPD without permission. But on the OOC Part, we all do our part to make sure you guys have the best fun you can, and there will never be total symmetry of ideas or vision of the LSPD Faction. - Some may deem an action appropriate, where as one whom may not be familiar with legal constitutions and other areas of Law/Legality itself may see an action as (passive) aggressive, or full attentive/passive. And it wont be cured, because if we all had to stop and go out in OOC in any platform mid-situation because a situation isn't how a person wants it to be. It wouldn't be roleplay. It'd be a script and re-inacted. I do feel there will be some areas that our faction can improve, and some players themselves. No doubt, probably not known to me yet (as I'm still in the same fields as I've been for a long time due to my own comfort and choice), I may have other areas to work on in the future. But you can always approach that person and have a nice chat with them, whether alone or supervised by someone you trust from the staff. (My post here, does not speak on behalf of any seniority to the Faction, but only of my own input as a long-standing Faction Member and Player.) - Besides this post. In definite support of this! I also too, took out a Sniper Rifle in due shootout like a doi-doi, instead of a Patrol Rifle. So like the /vtitem and /ptitem stuff, I'd love to see a "You have taken a [ITEM] from the gunrack/vehicle." on client side, and not roleplay-line.

You also need to consider the Bottleneck of your PC build. Whether your parts are actually compatible and operating below a minimal percentage.

A common issue with this game is that people are using HDD - HARD DRIVE over optimisation for SSD - Solid State Drives. Many people I have played with on this Community have found my tip to be very helpful, especially if you use the SAMSUNG EVO SSD's for your game solely, and aswell as your Operating System, as the lag is not only your game performance with it's Hardware, but it's the fluctuation of file transfer happening when it's trying to render certain objects and scenery. @Cacksii

I've actually spoken with the Rockstar Games Support, and my Brother who's rather into the topic of Servicing and IT-Technician Regions. And the following fixed my game: Open GTA V Library - Set the following to Administrative Permission Launch / Elevated Privileges = GTAV, GTAV Launcher. Edit Commandline.txt and (If you've got STEAM VERSION do the same on your Launch Parameters at GTAV>STEAM) = Add the following "-scOnlineOnly". Clear your Rockstar Games Library Cache/Dump at Documents/Rockstar Games. Go to your local host of your web-browser, and usually, it's because your LAN PACKET COLLISION is excessive over 10<¬ - I found mine to being 500421. Flush your Internet Socket, usually by removing the DNS Cable at the back of your router or server. Permit a reasonable restart on your Router following then. It should reset your Inbound and Outbound. (All of this usually takes 10 minutes to complete, and to everyone I've suggested this to. It works like a charm.)
