  1. I bought a Razer Naga Pro, to revive the inner gamer living within myself, that died many years ago. I also bought Bronze, because I seem to be somewhat of a baker's man now.
  2. From my experience, the longer and more detailed the /me, the better. However, with more experience, one may choose to tend to focus only on an action-oriented /me. Beware of giving off telepathic information in a long /me. The best roleplayer is a lawyer, who decides whether they are being vague and over ambiguous, versus being a sweetheart with the other player, providing telepathic information. The best roleplayer should see every interaction as building the presumption for a dispute, which may need to be handled with a game admin. There is a lot of gray area, the more developed your perception of roleplay becomes. Personally, I am not afraid to CK a character in any interaction. Those are the cards I bring to the table. Apprehension to CK is the root of many disputes, in my view. But the topic was /me. Are you *slightly* doing something over and over? People in the real world actually go around *slightly* doing things over and over, I have found. So I really don't see it as bad RP.
  3. Username: Guest Comment: lol who actually believes this stuff posted on here?
  4. I believe they're NPCs and powergaming if used to fight. Most 'guard dogs' are just anxious-resistant animals in real life, with little potential to actually protect. The owners have failed to take the animal to a qualified animal trainer, as most trainers specialize in police dogs. Yes there are exceptions. I fail to see many exceptions because fully qualified animal training usually falls in line with private detective and security companies, requiring extensive management experience in the field (supervisory management of an investigative team of 40+ in Illinois). A degree in animal behavior from the animal behavioral college only qualifies for a fraction of the experience required to properly train a dog for combat. Regardless, even an anxious-resistant dog will need to be responded to in roleplay if it enters combat. In those circumstances, it is very gray that the roleplay becomes offensive RP.
  5. How realistic is the IRS-like faction going to be? Are members going to need to read a tax code? Will they need degrees in a field similar to accounting?
  6. It's based on me asking: What kind of image would I portray if someone sees I practice roleplaying in my free time?
  7. As you may notice, in any dying situation, the words of the future are echoed in hushed tones. "GTAW" appeared occasionally, thought to be a misspelling of GTA V. Ultimately, GTA W showed itself to be the prime endowment of a promising time investment.
  8. I use to run a very important legal faction on LSRP. I was also staff, but that krisk guy pushed me away. Look up LSRP on urban dictionary and you'll know what I'm talking about.
